Happy Holidays!
Today is Christmas, one of the winter holidays! Woot! Hope the holidays are good for you, and you are enjoying them with (or without) family and friends! Usually we all have a good meal for Christmas dinner, and I'm definitely looking forward to that.

The Ramones - Merry Christmas (I don't want to fight tonight). The band that helped started some of the music I really got into... Punk! New Wave! And this song could, unfortunately, represent a lot of people's holidays with friends and family. Heh. Pogo all around the room!
The Brian Setzer Orchestra - Boogie Woogie Santa Claus - SWING! Dance around the Room! And yes, he's the guitar player from the Stray Cats. Dang I love their music!
Madness - Inanity Over Christmas. SKA! British Style. Once again, one of the bands from my young adult hood. They are still around, yes!
The Mavericks - Santa Wants to Take You for a Ride - blues, country, wev... This is from about 7 years ago. It's great. Raul, we miss you, dang, we miss you!
No Doubt - Oi to the World. Another punk band, with a song with a great message!
Skank with Reel Big Fish! More dancing around the room, I gotta remind myself, DO NOT FALL DOWN!
This group, Home Free, is amazing. They generally sing a cappella, and create the sounds of the instruments with their hands (drums, etc), or with their singing (guitars, whistles, etc). The singers are awesome! They put out a song or two every Christmas. Here's one from last year. Go Tim (the deep baritone singer on this video)! And remember, You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch!
This is Home Free's Christmas song for this year, and, I dunno how this happened, but the video basically features my Mom and Dad's story. No, not really, but it's pretty darn close! So, here's their version of the Christmas Song.

the denizens of c99. Watching "A Christmas Carol", the Alstair Sim one. The part where Scrooge dissed Tiny Tim was awesome and watching Bob Crachet get put in his place, also awesome. Great movie until it went woke and Scrooge went all lib. What's with Cratchet anyway? Wasn't he Kamalamas VP running mate?

Amarula has strong ties to elephants and marula tree fruit. Buy a bottle, protect an elephant. I first tried it in Tanzania. I have ordered it from Ca., but now a Spec's stocks it in a town 25 miles away.

leftovers will leave a lingering flavor on the tongue
I like a quick in and out, such as a beef steak or a pork
loin for instance. Cooked and done. A big bird can only be
re-purposed so many times before it loses its allure.
Therefore freezers. Perhaps I am missing something better?
Boiling the bones to make broth makes sense, can be used in
many other things like veggies and beans. Spread-out over time,
it does add a dimension of flavor to otherwise bland dishes.
Otherwise, it does become a burnt-out commodity. IMO.
