Also, you can schedule it to post in the morning ahead of time, so no need to rise early if that's not your thing. Just a few words of encouragement for some brave soul.
A cool and thin trade day, but I finally found another pair of earmuffs that I like. Got to visit around with a few buddies too. At least it is sunny, and headed toward 60 today.

Getting out was great and we saw Ricky driving the cart when we arrived back near home. He stopped and chatted with us. We said, "You look like you're having fun."
"It's a lot better than a shovel," was the reply and we all laughed.
Nobody said, "The snow started on Friday night. Where were you?"
We appreciate and reward our staff with very large Xmas bonuses and tips all year long. If the system broke down it was not going to be their fault.
The Landlord, OTOH, benefits when an elderly person decides to leave his/her rent-regulated home for sunnier climes.

Nevertheless, the vaccine mandate has been bitterly denounced by a small minority of owner-operator truckers, many already active in far-right politics and conspicuous in their opposition to all anti-COVID-19 containment measures, including mask mandates. Egged on by other far-right and outright fascist forces, including the likes of Rebel Media, they launched their cross-country Freedom Convoy.
The claims advanced by this unrepresentative minority, made up overwhelmingly of far-right activists, conspiracy theorists and anti-vaxxers, are fatuous and absurd. Tamara Lich, an official in the far-right, western separatist Maverick Party and the organizer of a GoFundMe campaign that to date has raised more than $6 million to support the convoy (much of it from anonymous donors), rails against the government “overreach” and “tyranny” of elementary public health measures.
In truth, no individual has the “right“ or “freedom” to go around infecting others with a potentially deadly virus. To the extent that vaccines are freely available, there is no legitimate reason for workers to refuse them. Arguments to the contrary are based on a combination of unscientific nonsense and social Darwinist and fascistic conceptions of “survival of the fittest.”
The only “freedoms” the protesters support are the freedom of the virus to run rampant and the “freedom” of big business to keep operating at full tilt, herding workers into unsafe workplaces amid a raging pandemic, so as to maximize profits.
Geezus where to start? Most of the truckers have been jabbed, but for some reason that fact is usually left out in the articles that call the truckers fascists and white supremists. Are all the people supporting the protest also fascists and anti vaxxers too? How in the hell could anyone know, but they just make the accusations anyway. This guy sure seems to be making lots of assumptions without providing any information on how he has come to making them.
Getting one of the FREE vaccines doesn’t stop people from spreading the virus or doesn’t he know that? And it’s not just about the mandatory jabs that they are protesting against. It’s about how their government has destroyed people’s rights because it’s an emergency just like what happened here after 9/11 when congress abolished the bill of rights for us when congress passed the patriot act and then Obama rescinded habeous corpus. It’s also about vax passports that have gone global which to me is a show me your papers. Not sure how anyone can support a mandatory medical procedure because it’s the start of a slippery slope. If governments can make you inject something you don’t want into your body then why wouldn’t they be able to mandate that you get something taken out. Guess people have forgotten that it was legal once to force women to be sterilized. That only ended 50 years ago.
Since the jabs don’t actually keep people from getting infected and spreading the virus I don’t understand why people think that every person should have to get them when they don’t even consider natural immunity.
