Oh how I'd love to shove this in Markos face

In an unusual election year, when a quarter of Republicans say they do not have a favorable opinion of their presumptive nominee, Clinton is making striking overtures to conservatives even as she works to shore up support on the left flank of her party by winning over Sen. Bernie Sanders’ liberal backers.
That’s included surprisingly warm talk about both former Presidents Bush, as well as GOP icon Ronald Reagan. At a campaign stop in Westminster, Calif., earlier this month, Clinton said she was fortunate enough to have known “a lot of presidents.”
Once a Republican, always a Republican. Hillary's true colors.
Makes me want to puke in disgust.

This doesn't surprise anyone?
She's only started moving to the right. Before it's over she'll be Mrs. Romney.
The Second One
The Romneys ARE Mormons, and lots of them still practice sub rosa polygamy. There are even "reality" TV shows about it. Somehow, I doubt Hillary would accept being #2.
Vowing To Oppose Everything Trump Attempts.
Honestly?
What did you expect?
Surprise!
Regardless of the path in life I chose, I realize it's always forward, never straight.
Yep. Only surprisingly warm to the MSM, who pretends Dems
are still liberals and Repubs are still rational. Today's Dem party is the party of Reagan.
Kos knows. He used to be Repub himself, IIRC.

Like I said, once a Republican, always a Republican
Let's face it, you'd have to be racist to be a Republican in the first place. Or a sellout. Or both. Those kinds of people don't change for the better. They only get worse.
History will remember Markos and Hillary as sheep in wolves clothing.
It wasn't always that way, IIRC. Not talking about way back
before the Southern strategy, either. My Mom is still technically a Repub, signed up because she approved of their fiscal conservatism - I remember way back, the Dems were spending money on useless things like bridges to nowhere a lot. But since we have minorities in our family, she wouldn't have associated with racism.
She hasn't voted Repub in years - both parents are pro Bernie - just never changed her registration. Will probably do it in protest of Drumpf if he is the nominee.

Earmarks were popular with Dems - and Repubs.
And that bridge to nowhere was championed by Rep. Don Young, a Republican.
That's true, it was never as clearcut as the Repubs tried to
portray it; it was a Dem thing until the Repubs reached a majority in Congress, http://www.cnn.com/ALLPOLITICS/1997/gen/resources/pork/
The fact that it continued under the Repubs is probably the point at which Mom started voting for Dems.

There was all kinds
of money to spend in the Roaring '50s, '60s and even '70s - and Dems weren't afraid to spend it. Ahh, the good old days...

We had growing wages
and a different tax structure in those decades.
I still marvel at all that was achieved before we became a nation of 'no we can't,' thanks to both parties.

Bridges to Nowhere
At least people got paid the prevailing wage to build bridges to nowhere. I'll take bridges to nowhere over bailouts to big banks any day.
"They're spending MILLIONS! on that stupid bridge!"
"The banksters stole untold trillions and pulled off the biggest coup in history? Wonder what the latest cat video is on Youtube".
And in the end, you have a bridge...
As opposed to that other popular boondoggle, the War to Nowhere.
Play the thought experiment of two parallel futures: In which future are the people of this country and this world better off?
Personally, I'd buy that bridge. Tear it down. And build it again.
Bush could endorse Hillary right now...
...and somebody on dkos would find a way to spin it into a positive for Democrats.
Somebody?
Bush would be suddenly the toast of the great orange satan. They would be crawling on their bellies to lock his cow dung covered cowboy boots.
They are cult like. I avoid them like I would avoid a sewer with rats the size of volkswagons. If she is elected the thought police are likely to become a real thing. I have no illusions that it will be anything but worse than our most awful nightmare.
former Sec of States are unlikely to be POTUS
As stated in another posting,
By 2016, it has been 160 years since the last candidate with secretary of state credentials was voted into the White House. from Smithsonianmag.com
Even if she was a populist like Bernie, clean with no dirty laundry, the odds are against Hillary right from the start.
Unfortunately, she is dirty and dishonest, a top-down corporate-favored candidate, pre-selected by the corrupt bureaucracy within DNC. The exact opposite of a populist with grass roots support from the people.
The bigger problem is not with the odds, it's with the loaded dice and marked deck. The primary elections were and currently are secretly controlled and manipulated, totally endemic with fraud. Casino slot machines run by mafia have more oversight and integrity than this primary has had, the voting is being rigged in favor of Hillary and that disgusting fact of cheating is conveniently ignored by her campaign and the msm. Bernie had 90% support in California. Just look at his rallies on youtube. The Hillary rallies in California barely had enough space to fill your own living room or kitchen.
Voting for Hillary, whether you like her or detest the Repug alternative, it is condoning and rewarding the massive electoral corruption at the highest levels.
It is an absolute moral imperative to vote for someone other than Hillary for that reason alone. Even though there is a high likelihood that your vote will not be counted and it might even be altered within the central tabulators by malicious software. Yet it is not an incurable cancer, it will be fixed by the honest citizens in our country, but in the meantime we must not reward criminal behavior by endorsing or voting for Hillary in 2016.
Legal Framework for Fair Elections
For those of you who might be interested in creating an honest, fair, transparent electoral process in America, I suggest you explore this detailed look at electoral processes. The Voting Operations and Vote Counting sections (scroll down) are of great interest.

It's one thing to have
90% support, yuuge Rallies. It's another to get that support to the polls. There's no doubt there was some serious electoral shenanigans, not just in Cali, but in virtually every state that mattered. But, The New Youth this cycle seemed to think their support ended at the Rally, that voting was for old people.

That's not true, not nearly.
Young people have been the lifeblood of Bernies' campaign.
What makes you think this, Wink?
'Well, I've wrestled with reality for thirty five years, Doctor, and I’m happy to state I finally won out over it." Elwood P. Dowd "
The results.
We had yuuuge numbers for Bernie rallies here in NY. Cali had yuuuge numbers. The results? HRC won both. Leads one to believe all those Rally numbers amounted to squat at the polls. That the New Youth loved the Rallies, actual voting not so much.

Not true.
The youngsters in Colorado performed very well for Bernie.

there is a correlation between rain and umbrellas
and usually you can see a lot of umbrellas show up when it's raining.
Granted some people walk in the rain and get soaked, and others stay inside their cars or indoors and stay out of the rain altogether.
But to assume that a hugh Bernie rally in no way will correlate to high turnout for Bernie votes at the voting precinct. that's like saying you'll never see anyone with umbrellas when it's raining.
The fact is that whenever you have hugh outdoor rallies, you will have a lot of voters.
HIllary alwyas had poor turnouts yet she consistently showed gigantic numbers of voters by the official count. Which never actually jived with the exit polls.
She hasn't made any statements regarding such discrepancies. Like Sherlock Holmes in the "Hound of the Baskervilles", the mystery is not why the dog barked, but why the dog did NOT bark.
Voter suppression
I just looked at Kings County and Santa Clara County and close to 20% of the ballots weren't counted in the D column, while only 3% of the votes weren't counted in the R column. This means that the provisional ballots were tossed in the trash. Young and Hispanic ballots.
From the Light House.
She will know one more president.
President Trump, when she loses to him in November.
Trump, Clinton, MSNBC, Washington Post etc don't exist for me
They're all just fictions created by overpaid, conscienceless toadies. These people that we see on the TV (or that we hear about here) are scripted, amoral, spiritually dead and soulless leeches. Jill Stein exists for me as does Bernie. Since those are the only 2 real people on the Presidential ballot, they are the only ones I will consider.
Beware the bullshit factories.
Only One Party
The longer Hilary reveals the truth about American politics by openly posing with and praising Republicans, the more I'm convinced that elections have been nothing more than personality contests between the various groups which make up the elites of "both" parties. They take certain poses, then see if they can sell more people on those poses than the opponent. The loser has to serve as an actual elected official until the next election.

I've said it for years
I've said for years, decades even, that the Rs and Ds were two sides of the same coin as I pulled the lever for a third party candidate. I'd always get shouted down and insulted by those same Rs and Ds who claimed they were TOTALLY different, but I'm happy that many are waking up to the corruption that infests our entire government.

Of course speaking truth to power over there is a bannable offense.
I'm waiting for the repercussions.
Heh.
There are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns – the ones we don't know we don't know.
And immediately, tip jar hidden!
Yaaaaay!!!
Now we know for real what TOP/GOS is: a communistico-fascist dictatorship that, to quote Pakistan 4 Star General (self-promoted from Lt Col, I'm reliably told) Pervez Musharraf (I heard him on TV):
There are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns – the ones we don't know we don't know.
Every day, and in every way, I think about that place...
less and less.
Hell with em.
I do not pretend I know what I do not know.
I agree,
but every once in awhile I like to give them a poke in the eye just to relish the response!

She wants to work with Repukes,
just like her husband did. And, contrary to all those who think Reagan created ALL this hell, Bill Clinton did a hell of a job himself. He worked REALLY well with Repukes, as did his wife. She didn't want to stay home and bake cookies, so she became a lobbyist for all Bill's/Repuke's policies. And did everything she could to screw over women and children----think: welfare reform. And that was long before she suggested sending Honduran children back to the hell she made in Honduras. And those jerks over at TOP are happy to tell you that she wants to work for women and children-----except when she isn't.

What utter fucking hypocrisy
these are the people who EXCORIATED and ABUSED Sanders and his supporters for reaching out to "Trump Republicans" not long ago.
Christ, somebody find a link and remind those assholes, they did it on their own blog. I'm sure not going over there, I just took a shower....
Republicans
Ah, but Bernie was reaching out to working class whites. Hillary is reaching out to people who are "better" than that.
Hi Chickie.
Unhidden now :-)
T&R you over there. Read as many of the comments as I could stand and put in a couple at opportune places to support. Stunning hypocrites they are. Wonder how many are paid shills. Pity some long timers have drunk the kool-aid.
the paid shills have mulitiple accounts
So as to seem to be many when they are few.
I'm not surprised.
I never cared for either Clinton though I voted for BillyBoy twice. By then, I was so fed up with the damage caused by the Reagan-Bush idiot/criminal squad that I couldn't see straight. The damage caused by them....! The Clintons are just a couple of greedball Reagan junkies. I'm not voting for Billary this time. Rec'd!

I voted Perot, but did follow with another protest vote the second time around... sorry to admit to such ignorance, but that lessor of evils thing...never again.
I am so ashamed of the calamity exposed by this election season. I never thought we could so quickly re-establish the low esteem, and ridicule of our leadership in the eyes of the world... but here we are again.

Yep, when HRC declares war on Assad ...
... they'll all be cheering.
Fuck this shit.
One of my best friends, over dinner the other night, asked, "So, will you vote for Hillary?" She will. There are still so many people out there who have been blinded by the MSM this election season. Trump is just "too scary!" Meanwhile, I just read an article about how Trump -- despite having a month-long lead over Hillary in the declared nominee department -- has wasted said lead by campaigning in blue states he's never going to win. If there was ever any doubt the fix was in, THAT should erase it.
Anyway, I was pleased to be able to answer, "I live in Vermont so I won't have to." (This was a diplomatic answer, as I didn't want to damage our 44-year friendship by saying "Fuck no!").
No surprises about Bushista approval or their support of HRC
Read this Yahoo article (it's short), look at the still photos and watch the 6+ minute video. Pay attention to the body language.
Billary and the Bushistas are in business together via the Clinton Foundation. (I have a pix of Bill, Dumbya, Laura, and famous sport owners watching a game in Houston somewhere, too.) I'm quite sure they've had many cozy dinners together and/or chats over dinner and/or phone calls. Dumbya has a direct link to KKKarl Rove who knows the hackers who fixed past elections for the Rethugs.
Why didn't anyone else suspect this, especially after some famous person's funeral they all attended (?Coretta Scott King?) during Dumbya's reign, and Hillary and Bill and Dumbya and Laura all flew there on AF-1. They've been fast friends for a long, long time.
