North Korea Warns Over Strategic Bombers
A pair of American B-52H bombers was escorted by two Japanese F-2 fighter aircraft and two South Korean KF-16 fighter jets during a trilateral flight on Friday, according to the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command. It was the third such flight between the allies this year.
Early Tuesday morning North Korea launched a missile that went OVER Japan. Naturally people freaked out.
I recently read the books mentioned here, found them to be essential reads, and also find it amazing how the UK and US seem to have an infinite ability to whitewash our own recent past and the implications of same.

It connects not only Cheney and Rumsfeld, but, without mentioning him, James Comey, who was Lockheed counsel and thus part of the proliferation lobby dedicated to destroying nuclear disarmament.
In 2006 I posted this diary at Dkos about Rumsfeld and George W. Bush enabling the North Korean nuclear weapons project. The last point in the FORTUNE article still concerns me. Are we subsidizing, never mind approving, private companies efforts to provide us with enemies?
