Kindly Reduce Expectations

We are getting ready to head out on yet another multi-week adventure in the near future. This means that I need to write, post and schedule a whole bunch of OTs for the period of my absence, as well as some to bridge the gap between now and the start date. This means, among other things, that you shouldn't expect too much from them and will need to provide content as well as commentary yourselves (as if you don't already, heh). So, here we go ...

Although you are traveling, I wish you good day for when you are able to check in! Thank you for the music today - a sad day, indeed.

Finally, the Iowa Caucuses are upon us. Finally.

Have a pleasant day, everyone! Pleasantry

We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.

At the store yesterday prior to the Super Bowl. A game I'm not big on watching myself, I was definitely in the minority. Captain of our store let crew members wear football jerseys over their uniforms which mirrored the sea of jerseys the customers wore as well. Somehow my comment about forgetting to wear my Iowa Caucus Jersey got lost in translation as no one seemed to appreciate my humor.

The day democracy died

Why did it die? Because Putin's republicans let it by not removing trump from office. Russia has won not only here, but in the U.K. too. Why? Because he fooled people into voting for or against Brexit. Yeah I know that doesn't make sense, but what does in regards to Russia, Russia, Russia?

We did get the post Superbowl snow storm. Fortunately for me most of it went south and we got maybe 5 inches. And yay for my neighbor to plow out my long, steep driveway. Now I can go for a walk if I want to brave the cold and the wind. I'm getting him either a pie or brownies. I'm a Libra and have a hard time making decisions.

And will it be served warm with vanilla ice cream on top? Additional info needed before I can vote. Smile

@Anja Geitz

If they want ice cream or cream on it they will have to supply it. Same as if they want to warm it up or not.

Me? I'd rather have some chewy brownies, warm them up and put ice cream on it which I did just splurge and buy some.

Served warm in a shallow bowl with vanilla ice cram and spoon, I'm on board.

Brownies are good too. Best brownie mix if you're not doing it from scratch? Trader Joe's of course! Hands down, customers tell me that it's even better then Ghiradellis brownie mix which is 3x the price.
