Matthew Dowd just raised single payer!!!

On This Week!!! He suggested thinking about it. Of course they changed the subject fast.

He's been one of the more realistic analysts (despite being a Republican), but still!

I'm speechless - sorry to have no more to say. Yet. Maybe there is some hope.

What do you think?

You may not want to look into that too closely. Reality hangs by but a thin thread and at any moment ...

I just hope they are right...but somehow I think if they are correct it will be some minimal coverage.

Whoever they are, at least they're talking about it in public, which most "Democrats" are not.

Let's hope. Anything would be more than the millions of uninsured have now.

The earth is a multibillion-year-old sphere.
The Nazis killed millions of Jews.
On 9/11/01 a Boeing 757 (AA77) flew into the Pentagon.
AGCC is happening.
If you cannot accept these facts, I cannot fake an interest in any of your opinions.

It's what most people want.

It's called the Emergency Room, and people with insurance pay for it.

conditions that everyone knows will kill them later. For instance, someone in a diabetic crisis will be treated for that, but won't get the day-to-day insulin supply or diabetic education they need to keep from landing there again, unless they have enough money; someone having an asthma attack or heart attack will have an equivalent problem.

That's not decent health care, it's emergency care only. It may be the most effective part of the health care system, but it is only a fraction of what is needed. And it's the most expensive way to deal with health.

Actually, it isn't health care at all, it's only sickness care.

or what do I think of single payer. I don't know who Matthew Dowd is except by inference is that he is a Republican representative. It is good to have people talking about MFA/SP from both sides of the aisle. The number of bipartisan supporters is abysmally low.

One mortality estimate I have read stated that 30,000 people die yearly for lack of receiving medical care. At the rate we're going, we could see almost as many deaths from this health-care monstrosity as all American deaths in WW2 (400,000).

How long can we wait for the congress critters to take their noses out of the donors' asses to see what the hell is needed to fix this country, particularly health care? Should we wait for 2020, at the earliest = 90,000 useless and cruel deaths. This is to say nothing of the millions of people suffering from painful debilitating illnesses.

So, thanks, Matthew for being a reasonably sane person, even if Republican. We need more of your ilk on both sides of the aisle to get the thing rolling.

Donald Trump could become America's greatest president since if he does three things:
1. Gets us out of wars (all 9)
2. cuts the military budget at least in half (preferably more)
3. Gets us MFA/SP.
