Lying About Lies?
Trump campaign lawyers Rudy Giuliani and Jenna Ellis on Sunday released a statement disavowing its association with Michael Flynn’s attorney Sidney Powell, claiming she had nothing to do with the president or his campaign. The statement from the Trump campaign said Powell was freestyling on her own, not under the aegis of the campaign.
“Sidney Powell is practicing law on her own,” read a joint statement from Giuliani and Ellis. “She is not a member of the Trump Legal Team. She is also not a lawyer for the President in his personal capacity.”
This is delicious -- The Great Dictator's legal team falls apart, literally, while Microsoft News takes the side of Rudy Giuliani against Sydney Powell who claims that she can blow up the whole Electronic Voting Game. Nope, says the "journalism" coming from the Bill Gates empire -- Powell's claims are simply labeled false without citation or explanation.
Unless Trump fires Rudy, it means that Trump wants no part of Powell's claims. As he is a pathological liar, it is usually a safe bet to figure that whatever he says is false. So if he disavows Powell's tale, that means it is most likely true. Or does it?
One thing is for sure -- Powell will not get a platform to tell her story. Saturday morning on Lou Dobbs was as far as she got.
Luckily our national media have abandoned the feckless "neutrality" that used to be called objectivity. Now, we got Microsoft News and a host of other national news platforms that tell us whom to believe and whom to laugh at as a liar.
Relieves us all of the burden of thinking.
