Sidney Powell Interview: On the Coup and Dominion: "I am going to release the Kraken...I am going to expose every one of them."

This woman is my hero. Heroine. Whatever.

For those who may not be familiar, she is a veteran US prosecutor, defense and appellate attorney and author. Has been Gen. Michael Flynn's attorney for the past year or so and is one of the lead attorneys tackling alleged election fraud in the 2020 General Election.

Alleges that Dominion's software was originally developed specifically for election manipulation and first used in Venezuela.

Interviewed by Lou Dobbs, Nov. 14:
(partial transcript below)

[video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-7YH6vTwosg&feature=emb_logo]

SP - "...This is essentially a new American Revolution and anybody who wants this country to remain free needs to step up right now.

These are federal felonies. Altering or changing a ballot is a federal felony.

People need to come forward now and get on the right side of this issue and report the fraud they know existed in Dominion voting systems because that's what it was created to do.

It was its sole original purpose, it's been used all over the world to defy the will of people who wanted freedom."

LD - "Sidney, I said at the outset of this broadcast that this is the culmination of what has been over a four year effort to overthrow this president.

To first deny his candidacy via the election, but then to overthrow his presidency. This looks like the effort to carry out and end game in the effort against him.

Do you concur?"

Sp - "Oh, absolutely.

And it's been organized and conducted with the help of Silicon Vally people, the big tech companies, the social mediacompanies and even the media companies.

And, I'm going to release the Kraken.

...We are going after them and I am going to expose every one of them."

She is just the one to do it, too.

the DOJ reasons for dropping the Flynn case:

GOVERNMENT'S MOTION TO DISMISS...

gov.uscourts.dcd.191592.198.0.pdf

In addition to the detailed points in the motion, AG Barr's release of exculpatory evidence that was in the FBI's possession but had not been presented to the court was a factor in Flynn's decision and in his case.

Also, as I have read, Flynn had entered into a plea agreement such that he agreed to plead guilty and to cooperate with the Mueller investigation in exchange for something, but the prosecution had not presented their part of the agreement to the court. This past Spring, Barr released the document showing that part of the agreement, after Flynn had withdrawn his guilty plea.

In addition, I hope you will read FBI Director Comey's testimony under oath that he did not think Flynn had lied to the FBI but that he, Comey, had urged Yates to urge the White House to remove Flynn because Comey thought Flynn had lied to VP Pence about whether he had talked to the Russian ambassador about sanctions.

about the current legal challenges about the election, but I don't understand your concerns about Flynn's case. She has been his attorney after he left the previous attorneys who had him pleading guilty. Isn't he within his rights, especially given they had not required exculpatory evidence and had not included the complete agreement?

up

@Linda Wood Exculpatory evidence is what seek in pre-trial motions. You can file a writ to overturn a verdict or plea in the appellate courts if you discover mitigating and exculpatory evidence was hidden.
What she did by this interview is poison a future jury pool. It is unethical as hell to do what she did in that interview. Just cool your jets,Ms. Powell, file the lawsuit, call a press conference then, except it will still poison the jury pool if she exceeds the scope of her pleadings.
It is always to try your case in a courtroom, not a tv studio.

I hear what you're saying, and it sounds right.

Flynn is at the center of my concerns about foreign policy, and so I have respected her open statements about his ongoing case. Each time evidence is released, it backs her up. Flynn himself has been virtually silent since he left his position as National Security Adviser, so I guess I credit Sydney Powell with keeping his legal issues in the public domain.

on what basis (aside from the interview I posted) that you formed your opinion of Sidney Powell.

Something to do with her record as a prosecutor? Her federal appellate work, her defense work related to Arthur Anderson/Enron? Her books documenting serious prosecutorial overreach and abuse by the DOJ?

Much of her work has been in Texas - she must have some reputation good or otherwise in legal circles there...

Flynn Lawyer Powell Eyed to Replace Wray at FBI

By Marisa Herman | Friday, 18 September 2020 01:59 PM

Sidney Powell, the lawyer for Gen. Michael Flynn, President Donald Trump's former national security adviser, is on the White House shortlist of candidates to replace FBI Director Christopher Wray, reports Newsmax TV's Emerald Robinson.

During a Friday update on Newsmax TV’s “John Bachman Now,” Robinson said she was exclusively told that the White House “is formulating a list of replacements right now” for Wray.

She said the list has been in the works for over a month, but a change won’t be made until after the election.

Robinson shared Powell's name as one being floated for the job.

Now, wouldn't *that* be interesting?

who can't recite the 5 basic freedoms of the 1st amendment and was appointed to the highest court in the land, for life, is a member of the Federalist Society.

The Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy Studies is a group of conservatives and libertarians interested in the current state of the legal order. It is founded on the principles that the state exists to preserve freedom, that the separation of governmental powers is central to our Constitution, and that it is emphatically the province and duty of the judiciary to say what the law is, not what it should be. The Society seeks both to promote an awareness of these principles and to further their application through its activities.

(bold emphasis mine)

Gee, where was her efforts to "expose" this fraud, during previous elections, which used the same software? Zip, nada, nothing.

Think for a moment, what does a statement like this even mean?
"It is founded on the principles that the state exists to preserve freedom"

There is no "freedom" in America, it is founded on the principle of Forced Labor, not Freedom. You have the freedom to choose which master you can apply to work for, but you sure need to be back on the plantation by Monday morning.

In the real world, Freedom in America, is based on how much one earns, not by some "right" granted by the state.

Gee if we applied this principle, "and that it is emphatically the province and duty of the judiciary to say what the law is", almost every legislator would be behind bars for violating our constitution, especially here in Texas, and most specifically Art 12. Sec. 2 of the Texas Constitution. Iraqi WMD's any one?

The Federalists Society, the State Policy Network, and The American Legislative Exchange Council, all have the same basic goals, turn this country into a Libertarian nightmare. I.e. a fascists state, where money is everything, and rights are purchased.

Which is pretty much what we have today already.

Color me somewhat foosed, Mr. Rooster; Art 12. Sec. 2 of the Texas Constitution reads:

"Sec. 2. GENERAL LAWS FOR CREATION OF PRIVATE CORPORATIONS AND PROTECTION OF PUBLIC AND STOCKHOLDERS. General laws shall be enacted providing for the creation of private corporations, and shall therein provide fully for the adequate protection of the public and of the individual stockholders."

@thanatokephaloides consider this statement again.

and that it is emphatically the province and duty of the judiciary to say what the law is

In principle, does precedence no longer matter?

Like Citizen's United, money equals free speech? Like how the AUMF is not in blatant violation of our constitution? How the NDAA is not in blatant violation of our constitution? Or the assassination of Soleimani was some how "legal"? That it's ok for corporations to violate your civil rights, just for the "privilege" to apply for employment, because we do not have a "right" to employment?

Why should a corporation have the "right" to tell me, what to wear to work? Or what "professional dress" is acceptable? For my "privilege" to work.

With respect to Art. 12, sec. 2, of the Texas Constitution, specifically, "and shall therein provide fully for the adequate protection of the public".

Consider JPMorgan Chase Bank. They have been convicted of 5 felony financial crimes, whose real harm to Texas citizens, and our veterans, is almost incalculable. But where was this "provide fully for the adequate protection of the public" from this serial felony criminal organization? The last two felony convictions were under the RICO act. They are a de facto Criminal Enterprise.

In the mean time, our credit, livelihood, reputations, professions are destroyed. Sure if you have money afterward and a clean cut case, you can seek recourse, after the damaged has already been done, for which the "protections" that were in place, i.e. the laws, were obviously wholly inadequate.

Consider our State AG, Paxton. I think he has sued the EPA more times than any single AG (snark) But the fact he is suing the EPA to roll back regulation designed to protect the public from the unnecessary damage to our environment, and more specifically our health, as a direct result of these corporations serially violating corporations the already inadequate legislation in the first place.

Also and especially considering Texas has the highest uninsured rate in the nation and we are one of the worst polluters in the nation, in terms of air, water and soil. It's absurd.

"and shall therein provide fully for the adequate protection of the public, Yeah right...

Also consider, this is not an action that the majority of the people of Texas want, it is an action that ALL the oil and gas companies, and their shareholders want. Hell, consider Paxton is under indictment for Felony Securities fraud himself. His case still hasn't even gone to court yet. Gee, if he's innocent, why is he not crying about the right to a speedy trial to prove his innocence?

We, the citizens, are punished, economically, socially, professionally, because of their (corporations) crimes, and the obviously wholly inadequate "protections" put in place by our state legislators, who are bought with campaign contributions, and have legislation written for them by (Bill Mills) organizations, and corporations like Federalist Society, the State Policy Network and the American Legislative Exchange Council.

Of course, now companies are just writing their own laws, and going "government direct" I guess.

CEO Jeff Bezos himself announced Amazon’s turn to drafting its own regulatory laws, in comments made last week at the company’s annual Alexa gadget event in Seattle. “Our public policy team is actually working on facial recognition regulations; it makes a lot of sense to regulate that,” Bezos said. The company will mock up what it thinks the terms of its own regulation should look like, and then forward that on to federal legislators for adoption.

It's is congress's purview to make the law, (i.e. say what the law is) according to our constitution, not the Judiciary. Congress is supposed to represent the people, therefore by direct elected representation, is the will of the people, who are ultimately responsible for deciding what the law is. We, the people, are the ones who petition the government (our elected reps) to either make a law or remove a law.

I mean, consider, Art 1. Sec. 1 of our federal constitution, specifically tells us who says what the laws is, they have the power to create it, out of thin air.

All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.

Congress makes the law, the executive carries out the law, the judiciary evaluates the law. From the US goverment it's self.

The judicial branch interprets the meaning of laws, applies laws to individual cases, and decides if laws violate the Constitution. It is comprised of the Supreme Court and other federal courts.

The people, by their elected representatives, say what the law is. Not some judge who can't remember the 5 basic freedoms of the 1st amendment of our federal constitution.

Or some "society", that doesn't understand the fundamental process of how laws are made in this country, spelled out clearly by the first article / section of our federal constitution. WTF?

(Apologies for the snark, it's not directed personally, it's just I seem to be in a total state of "WTF, are you kidding me?" Crazy ,in just general living from one day to the next, so it's not personal and I hope you don't take it that way...)

Somebody or something -- maybe it is just our fate -- is driving us toward civil war.

Good luck to all.
.

As far as attacking this person goes for being a right wing nut job, yes, somebody or something -- maybe it is just our fate -- is driving us to civil war. She is on TV on a Saturday morning, saying that she and her team will be releasing evidence in support of her claims. Either she will or she won't have persuasive evidence for her story.

Any pre-emptive effort to discredit her before the litigation takes place is very strong evidence in support of her claims, and corroborating evidence in support of my glum assessment about being led into a civil war.

This shit going down now is unprecedented and it is destroying democracy right before our eyes. It really does not matter whether one "side" or the other is telling the truth. Or, for that matter, it really does not matter whether my own interpretation of this "conflict" being an orchestrated deception holds any water at all.

The fundamental basis of civil society -- respect for the rule of law, and a willingness to follow the process of law -- is now the bone in a dog fight between two political parties. Both sides urge the public to consider the other side criminals.

The worst situation in recorded history just got a lot worse on November 2.

Poll workers across US test positive for COVID-19

People in several states who worked as poll workers on Election Day have tested positive for the coronavirus, although it remains unclear whether the infections are tied to the polling places.

The largest outbreak so far has been detected among election workers in the Kansas City suburbs of Jackson County, Mo., according to The Associated Press. Twenty-eight people who worked as poll workers there have tested positive in recent weeks, although Election Board head Tammy Brown said staffers urged anyone who felt sick to stay home.

“We, as election officials, all knew we were at risk,” Brown said, according to the AP. “I don’t think this was shocking to any of us.”

An election official working an early voting site in Linn County, Iowa, itself considered a national hotspot, also reported testing positive, according to the AP.

In New York’s Hudson Valley, officials have advised more than 1,600 people who voted at a single location on Election Day to seek testing, citing a poll worker who tested positive.

Two poll workers at separate Carroll County, Va., locations also tested positive, although officials said all elections officials statewide wore masks, gloves and face shields.

Pretty much every major piece of electronic equipment has NSA hooks in it. Certainly your PC has hooks in the BIOS. All routers have NSA hooks. It works like this. You're in development of a new electronics product. The CIA shows up, talks to top level management and informs them that they are required by law to put the hooks in the equipment. In addition it is illegal to disclose this. The NSA leaves off a set of specs and arranges a meeting with the chief technology folks. Only top level technical folks are informed. This I know to be true. The next stuff is speculation. The voting machines, terminals and collaters have hooks in them so that the CIA can hack foreign elections. I do not know this for a fact, but it's logical.
One more speculation. The CIA forces foreign technology manufacturers to put the hooks in their equipment if they want to sell it in the West. This is where Huawei fell afoul. It wasn't that they had Chinese hooks, it's that they refused to put in NSA hooks. Again, I'll warn you that this is my speculation. I think that it's OK to discuss theories as long as you are clear that this is all it is.

from tampering is being naive. Bev Harris of Black Box Voting has shown how easily election fraud can occur and be manipulated remotely without anyone ever knowing. With proprietary software on the machines that is controlled by the manufacturers, it is very easy to manipulate the outcomes. It is called "Fraction Magic." And it does not take Russia or Venezuela to do that.

The folks at the Convo Couch have been doing a series of videos recently on election integrity citing the mathematical anomolies in the voting in several key states during the 2020 Presidential election. Craig "Pasta" Jardula, Fiorella Isabel, and Jonathan Mayorca of the Convo Couch are not Trump supporters. They are leftists who did not vote for either Biden or Trump.

Regardless of whether or not it is the Orange Man, we should all be concerned about the integrity of our elections, starting with the way our votes are counted. Bottom line, I doubt any court will overturn the election, but if the lawsuits that Trump has filed expose any of the election fraud that I believe to be very real and widespread, we all will be better off for it.

When we view what is a widespread problem through the lens of Democrat or Republican, we are doing ourselves and this country a grave disservice. This is not just a Democrat or Republican problem, but is a problem with corporations outside our control, controlling the results of our elections. For example, there is a very good chance that votes were also flipped in 2016 and 2020 against Bernie Sanders too.

I suggest folks here do a little research on the use of proprietary software on these vote counting machines and on the central tabulators which aggregate the votes from multiple precincts. The 2006 HBO movie Hacking Democracy documented how easily votes can be flipped remotely.

[video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6YldIdkjrqM]

I have consistently posted here that I believe the only way we can ensure the integrity of our elections against election fraud is for all counting of votes to be done by hand in public with oversight from representatives of various candidates or parties.

I just checked google and Sydney Powell's website. Nothing has been revealed yet. There are links to a few other media outlets that picked up on her Dobbs interview.

Some on this thread have noted that she was hyping her legal case, which is at best a questionable practice. On the other hand, hyping a legal case is now pretty much standard operating procedure when litigating high profile cases. By itself, it does not disprove anything.

But so far, there is nothing to disprove.

Even though this thread will keep sinking under the format here, I am very interested in finding out what evidence, if any, the Trump team can produce. As noted above, altering vote totals in the majority of jurisdictions is sickeningly easy to do. The only question is whether anybody can document specific races being flipped, like the Presidency.

The weirdest thing of all about this and every other anti-establishment message board I have seen is the way that the majority of posters ignore the likelihood of fixed vote tallies as they discuss their predictions for how elections will turn out.

Like so many things today, to face reality is to despair.

There was a Trump tweet today or yesterday to the effect that they have yet to launch what will be their main law suits - SP has indicated they have at least one witness that was involved in the original development of Dominion's software who will testify that it built specifically for the purpose of manipulating elections.

I've put up another essay "Post Election Drama Continued" that you might want to check. The last video has part of an interview with her that is later than the ones I linked to here.
