The Logos of Antisthenes (Program)
The Logos of Antisthenes is a series of 42 Poems set in the immediate aftermath of the Trojan war.
The poems are mostly in Free Verse. I try to stick to the Heroic Stanza format of Quatrains. However, I don't stick as closely to the rules as is traditional, and I'm perfectly fine with that. Essentially, I wanted to capture the feel of a Greek heroic epic, but with some reflections on the war I fought in.
There are three acts.
1st Act: The Muses.

2nd Act: The Heroes

Thanks, detroit. It is good, and helpful to see the program.
That, in its essence, is fascism--ownership of government by an individual, by a group, or by any other controlling private power. -- Franklin D. Roosevelt --
Rgr. I was resisting doing this becuase I had it in my head
I do not pretend I know what I do not know.
So, the main parts are DONE.
I still need to add stage direction and chorus, but that needs to be worked out with a cast. At this point, I've got enough to start working on a production, and any further work will be needed at the point of rehearsal and casting.
(Still working on the chorus part. It's simple, but needs to fit properly, not jar the modern audience.)
