I've been offically warned and flagged at TOP

for posting this:

Why Hillary Isn't Sweating the Wisconsin Loss to Bernie

Maybe a banning or time-out or whatever is coming next. Who knows?

It's re-write of yesterday's post,It's not your Democratic party, it's her Democratic party , though toned down a bit. Still too offensive for the delicate fee-fees of the Clinton supporters.

Yes, I am trolling them. Because why the F not.

Text below (without the links except to the Cenk video) for those who are interested.

* * *

It's simple really. She owns the Democratic Party apparatus, lock, stock and both barrels.

I could explain Hillary Clinton's "money laundering" scheme, which allows her billionaire and millionaire donors to increase their donations to her campaign far in excess of the legal limit on individual contributions (all perfectly legal thanks to the Supreme Court), in elaborate detail, but since Cenk Uygur of The Young Turks has already done all that work for me, I'll let him do the heavy lifting:

Link to Cenk video.

Clinton's Big Money supporters, in addition to what they contributed to her various Super Pacs and her campaign, were/are able to funnel up to an additional $1,320,000 per married couple, or $660,000 per person, to the DNC and Hillary's campaign in 2015 and 2016 by making additional contributions to those 33 state Democratic Party organizations.

If you watched the video, I hope you caught the part where Cenk explains that under last August's agreement, which was put in place long before you and I had any say in who would the Democratic nominee, Hillary basically bought the support of the super delegates in those 33 states. The way this deal works, the super delegates are all getting kickbacks in the form of contributions laundered through the DNC. Again, this is all perfectly legal, despite the transparent similarity to a payola scheme.

Yes, this story is almost ancient history now in our 24/7 news cycle, now, but it's one we shouldn't forget. This deal goes a long way toward explaining how Clinton scared away any other major establishment candidate from entering the race (cough - Joe Biden -cough) or anyone but Sanders from mounting an insurgent campaign (cough - Elizabeth Warren - cough).

By January 2014, Obama's largest Super Pac in 2012, Priorities USA Action, had already been transformed into Hillary's Super Pac. By August, 2015 nearly all the big donors and state parties (along with their super delegates) were effectively in her pocket. Last August, Bernie Sanders badly trailed Clinton in the national polls and most Democrats just assumed she was the only viable and electable candidate the party could field.

In short, that deal secured the support of a significant number, if not a majority, of the super delegates for Hillary. In essence, she purchased them with the help of the DNC and the 33 state parties that cast their vote for Clinton long before we cast our votes. It explains everything you need to know as to why super delegates are vowing to support Hillary regardless of the outcome of their state's primary or caucus election results.

Such arrangements, whereby the fealty of powerful individuals to their sovereign could be bought through the payment of money, land or other "favors" used to be called Feudalism. But we don't have kings and queens in America, anymore, at least not in the legal sense. However, what we have is a sham "democracy," i.e., a Potemkin facade of a democracy, where the majority don't get to decide who runs for office, the rich, powerful and well-connected do.

It's one of the reasons that Bernie's campaign is a historic event in American history. Despite all the money and alleged skullduggery and flat out corruption by the movers and shakers of the ironically named "Democratic Party" directed against a virtually unknown, self-described Democratic Socialist is unique in this era of Oligarchic control of the political process. Powered only by the enthusiasm of his supporters and their small, but far more numerous donations, Bernie has pushed, arguably, one of the most powerful, establishment backed candidates in my lifetime to spend far more money, time and effort to secure the Democratic nomination than she ever anticipated, a nomination which she no doubt once believed would be locked up the day after the results of the Iowa Caucuses were counted.

Well, as Cenk says, it's "her party," even though the candidate who now appears just as, if not more, electable versus any Republican is her opponent. Of course, we are witnessing the same drama play out on the Republican side, with a full court press by the Republican establishment to do anything to stop Donald Trump, even if that means getting into bed with the loathsome Ted Cruz.

And people wonder why so may Americans feel shunted aside by our two party system with its pay to play immorality that does everything to benefit top of the economic food chain, and tosses a few scraps every once in a while to the rest of us. And then they wonder why the rate of individual American citizens who register to vote increasingly do so as independents. Indeed, voters registered for either party has sharply declined.

Well, the high rollers who bet big on Jeb! and other establishment figures on the GOP side of this duopoly lost their money. Hillary Clinton is counting on the bet her big money donors made on her to pay off, even should she she fail to win a majority of ordinary delegates after the primaries are over. So far, it has, even as she limps to the finish line exposed as a candidate all to prone to go negative and, sadly, a perpetual gaffe machine.

Well, I’m sure her advisers and supporters are working hard to fix those relatively minor issues with how she presents herself at times. And I wish them all the luck in the world. Otherwise, her party will be in serious trouble in down ticket races in the general election, even if she squeaks out a win for herself. What can I say, but Go Trump! His nomination at the GOP convention is the best hope her party has of winning back the Senate and regaining ground in the House.

It's going to bankrupt me. Every time I get pissed off with some of the Hill-shilling, I end up donating to Bernie. Granted, it's not large sums, but it's really starting to add up! So you got bojo'ed over at TOP. It's a compliment, believe me. I don't do diaries, just comment. I joined TOS back in 2008 when the greenhorn was challenging shrill. It was nothing like it is now. One thing I noticed was that Markos was a Repukelican when he did his military duty. His mother is from El Salvador. He got slammed as a kid for that fact. He changed his voting affiliation to Democrat cos the open minded, nice, service members were registered Democrats. Bush-Cheney stealing the election in 2000 blew him out of the water. So being a computer geek, he started the GOS. The reaction from a lot of progressives, liberals, socialists, hardcore lefties surprised him. He's still a former R who is now a D.

I don't consider the Bernster's take on the issues in this campaign, radical. I'm a Boomer (b. 1952). Unions were a fact of life. VoTech schools and cheap college were the norm. JFK issued the command to get to the moon in 10 years. We did it in less than that. NASA was funded by the military (Navy and Air Force). It was a reaction to Sputnik (USSR). Every taxpayer dollar funneled into NASA paid for itself many dollars over. The military wasn't corrupted like it is now. People were covered by their employers, or had the coin to get medical issues addressed. The private business sector didn't worry about taking care of their employees. The smart ones just did. They knew they would get rewarded which happened.

Poverty and racial issues were honestly addressed by the corporate media aka evening news broadcasts. The visual technology was B&W. The content was the focus. These media companies had to follow regulations back then (god forbid).
Yikes, this comment is turning into a diary. Burn**Bernster**Burn!!

I don't do diaries, just comment.

I respectfully request that this change. Your writing and your clear passion for fairness and justice would make for some very fine Diaries.

[Markos is] still a former R who is now a D.

Exactly as much as his beloved Hillary Clinton. To wit: an acceptable Turd Way "Dem" south of the 37th Parallel and east of the 102nd Meridian, still a mid-grade R outside of that zone.

You want to call yourself a Dem to my face, you advocate for modern analogs of what real Dems in continuously-loyal States advocated for in 1975. (Read: Bernie.) Today's Turd Way is to the right of Richard Fucking Nixon in domestic policy terms, and they are Richard Fucking Nixon with respect to foreign policy!

Yikes, this comment is turning into a diary.

As I said above, yes, please, soon!

in response to all these hatchet jobs (at least on social media)? I've noticed a lot of people responding (to paraphrase) with something resembling a comment like this:

There they go again! Our media is so fucking corrupt. It's so obvious that they want (Hillary, Trump), and you know they're lying. The more they badmouth Sanders, the more I think he must really be (scaring/threatening/telling the truth about) the "powers that be" ....

I've seen a *lot* more of that since Sanders won Alaska/Hawaii/Washington, and it's ramped up since Wisconsin.

When I watched Bernie's speech last night, he brought a tear to my eye more than once. He was so hoarse he could barely speak. I can only hope like hell that I'm not seeing things and that he's going to continue gaining momentum. The Kitchen Sink brigades better be careful in the meantime--they're liable to run out of sinks to throw before NY....

'What we are left with is an agency mandated to ensure transparency and disclosure that is actually working to keep the public in the dark' - Ann M. Ravel, former FEC member

Having a candidate - ANY candidate - use this maneuver to lock in super delegates should be a concern of any loyal Dem. Even if they love the person who did this, it is very worrisome and the opposite of a standard Democratic goal, which it to get big money out of politics. By giving this a pass, they are saying they are cool with Citizen's United as long as we have the big money. Try running on that platform. Ooops - they are.

By giving this a pass, they are saying they are cool with Citizen's United as long as we have the big money.

I've been screaming about this. Hillary claims to hate citizen's united AND YET the party is doing everything it can to EXPAND it's reach. I added up the known SuperPAC money for her as reported by Open Secrets and got 8 SuperPACs supporting her plus two other entities which are technically not SuperPACs but seem to be operating similarly (Hillary Victory Fund is technically not a superPAC, but sure taking in money like one). From what's reported to date there (and I don't know when reporting deadlines are to know how current it is), by my count, those organizations have collected $260,000,000 on her behalf. More than a QUARTER BILLION dollars in money OUTSIDE of her campaign. And there are at least two of those superPACs which are publicly claiming that they are coordinating with the campaign, and it sure seems like all of them are working at least partially in concert.

Anyone catch last night tRump accusing Cruz's superPAC of coordinating with his campaign? I got a chuckle out of that. Think he'll let that alone should he be up against Hillary? (I still think Bernie gets the nom).

Not everyone

“Good morning, ma’am,” a member of the uniformed Secret Service once greeted Hillary Clinton.

“F— off,” she replied.

That exchange is one among many that active and retired Secret Service agents shared with Ronald Kessler, author of “First Family Detail,” a compelling look at the intrepid personnel who shield America’s presidents and their families — and those whom they guard.

Kessler writes flatteringly and critically about people in both parties. Regarding the Clintons, Kessler presents Chelsea as a model protectee who respected and appreciated her agents. He describes Bill as a difficult chief executive but an easygoing ex-president. And Kessler exposes Hillary as an epically abusive Arctic monster.

“When in public, Hillary smiles and acts graciously,” Kessler explains. “As soon as the cameras are gone, her angry personality, nastiness, and imperiousness become evident.”

He adds: “Hillary Clinton can make Richard Nixon look like Mahatma Gandhi.”

Secret Service “agents consider being assigned to her detail a form of punishment,” Kessler concludes. “In fact, agents say being on Hillary Clinton’s detail is the worst duty assignment in the Secret Service.”
