If this is true, then Republicans are as pathetic and childish as a group can get
Let's assume that this guy actually speaks for a lot of Republicans.
Breitbart News writer John Nolte argued Monday that Howard Stern and the left are using reverse psychology to trick Republicans into dying of Covid.
Stern, Nolte argues, has mocked unvaccinated radio hosts who died of Covid because he and the rest of the liberal media are “deliberately looking to manipulate Trump supporters into not getting vaccinated” — so that they die.
The absurd and convoluted assertion involves a hierarchy of “owns” that ultimately culminate in large “swathes”(sic) of Trump voters dying of the “China flu.” He eventually arrives at an encouragement for taking the vaccine but seems to suggest that the primary motivation to get inoculated to, of course, own the libs.
First of all, that would mean that the Libs aren't playing 4-dimensional chess. It means that the Libs are playing Peek A Boo with the Republicans, and the Repubs just can't keep up.
Secondly, Repubs have zero values of their own. They gravitate to ideas purely because Libs hate those ideas. And, all evidence points to this being true. Climate change anyone? Remember when Libs didn't want to invade Iraq?
Third, this is an extreme case of Identity Politics. The Repubs identity is based on hating Libs. Besides that making them shallow, it also means that they have absolutely no vision of a better future. It even restricts the options for the "better past" that they want to return to.
Finally, this is just sad. It not only means that Repubs are incapable of creating new and interesting ideas, but that they lack their own values (except for those dictated to them by a church or other group). They are simply a negative reaction to another group, and that's downright pathetic.
In fact, it's beyond pathetic. It's a political and social crisis. It means for all the problems with Libs today, Republicans are in a far worse, less healthy condition/environment.

No, it proves that Ralph Nader was right...
...While it might have been salvageable if only our timetable had been about 15 years faster than it was, there is no longer any true, foundational difference between Sirrus-Party and Achenar-Party; they have mastered the technique of swapping brains without ever messing with their multihundred-dollar haircuts.

No kidding!
I can't tell the difference in D and R. Maybe some msm or youtube channel that gets $ from their true believers.
All of government does the bidding of the 1%.
We are days away from government lacking the ability to "prioritize" Social Security checks.
I do not know what that means, but surmise it means hell, pure hell, for people who cannot live without those checks. They do not have a secret stash of money they have saved. They chose to fucking EAT, depend on next month's check.

You lost me when
you called Howard Stern Liberal. So anyone who doesn't toe the ever shifting party line is from the other side - I thought that was a leftist (sorry, pseudoleftist) thing. (yes, this is sarcasm- except for the pseudoleftist part)
On to Biden since 1973
Howard Stern,
to me, is the epitome of stupid and totally offensive, deliberately or not.

It was idiot Nolte who said that
and it's based on the regulation "Red team/Blue team" bullshit. WhoEVER is not on the Red team gets called "liberal" and "left" and all the other Red team cusswords. There's no deep thought behind pieces like that - just knee-jerk reactions.
There is no justice. There can be no peace.
When spoken by a Republican or a libertarian,
the word "left" means: "You're not on my team. You're a bad person. You're a danger to the country because you're evil and treacherous."
When spoken by a Democrat, it depends on the situation and who it's being applied to. If applied to others, it means: "You're a liability to my team. You're a naive, spoiled child. You're a danger to the country because you're disobedient and selfish."
When spoken by a Democrat and applied to oneself or one's party, it means: "I and my party are really good and kind. You should trust us to fight the bad guys even though we constantly vote with them and push watered-down versions of the same policies they promote."

If that garbage encourages Trump supporters to get vaccinated
then it's a win, as far as I'm concerned.
People who would believe that garbage about "the Left" are probably the same people who believed we were "terrorist sympathizers" and "Bin Laden supporters" under W; the same people who believed we were "junkies" and "dirty hippies" when we protested the Drug War under Reagan; the same people who believed we were "Communists" and "traitors" under Reagan, Nixon, and all the way back to Joe McCarthy in the 50s. People who would believe that of "the Left" need to hate us and welcome excuses to do so.
And anybody who thinks Howard Stern is part of "the Left" is an idiot, anyway.

By the way...
what is "the life-saving Trump vaccine?"
Is that something you can take to prevent your mind and values from being affected by Trump?
Hey--maybe it's US!
C99 could be "the life-saving Trump vaccine!"

I see -
God is on the side of Big Pharma.
Somewhat confusingly, though, Antifa are also apparently
on the side of Big Pharma - or one might assume so since they
show up to counter-demonstrate (and stab and shoot) people
demonstrating against lockdowns, mask and vaccine mandates.
Wonder what's next for the God/Pharma/Antifa Coalition?
Since God is imaginary, he/she/it can be on any side
you imagine.
Apparently not on the side of healthcare workers since they are being attacked big time in Idaho by anti-vaxxers.
"Without the right to offend, freedom of speech does not exist." Taslima Nasrin
So, where does that leave
the health care workers being terminated (or threatened with it) for refusing the jab.
Are not *they* under attack?
Sometimes fatally?
Last year and a half they were the frontline heroes and now they're outcasts?
The mujahaddin didn't go from noble freedom fighters to fanatical terrorist rag heads that fast.
No. Mandated vaccines for people who work with
citizens in any health care facility are NOT an attack. It is part of the job to make sure that you are not passing dangerous diseases to sick people.
Right now Covid is attacking young people in hospitals... as one nurse in Louisville said, "I wish I could take you down the hallway and show you all the young people on ventilators, or turned on their stomachs or on heart lung machines because their lungs stopped working."
How in the world is our health care system going to help people if health workers are not protecting not only themselves but their patients?
If anything, the massive numbers of unvaccinated people in hospitals put health care workers "under attack".

No further comment.
Neither Russia nor China is our enemy.
Neither Iran nor Venezuela are threatening America.
Cuba is a dead horse, stop beating it.
Looks like a swing and a miss
for Nolte this time. Oh, well - Babe Ruth had lots of strikeouts, too.
He has hit more than a few out of the park, though - this being one of my favorites:
Balance here
His series on what films should have won the Academy Awards cover every year from 1927 to the present is also pretty impressive (spoiler alert - occasionally the films that deserved to win *did*).
