I Hate People. There. I Said It.
Arguing with people on the internet can really piss ya off. Especially where politics, race and other touchy subjects are involved. On that note, let me give this ol' Caucus some advice: Don't try to argue with a black conservative. Want to know why? Look at these comments:
Over 50% of murders in the US are committed by the black 13% of the population. Over 70% of black babies are born out of wedlock, subject to all the problems fatherless children are subject to. Would you like to tell me how whites are responsible for that? The vast majority of blacks killings by police were justified, but the racists SJW and BLM idiots ignore it and then deny it when the facts come out. Are white people responsible for that? We have a black president and he was put in the White House mostly by by white people. I am tired of people yapping about how I am responsible for other people being jackasses.
Oh, believe me...it gets worse...like this one.
Seriously, Exile, are you saying that whole neighborhoods of single mothers were driven into poverty by medical expenses? Seriously? And you think my statements are stupid!?!?!
You dislike what I am saying about the effects of single mothers all you want, but that does not change reality. Fathers are not disposable accessories. When you take the father out of the home, you create disaster for the children. If a woman has no willing husband to help support and care for a child, she has no business having one. She certainly has no business forcing fatherhood on a man without his knowledge or permission. Any society that supports women in this behavior and rewards it deserves what it is going to get.
Or this one.
The racism boogeyman the entitled, self-important SJW types like to rant about does not exist. More whites than blacks get shot by police, even tho blacks commit over half the violent crime. The forces that cause 72% off black births to be illegitimate, that fill black neighborhoods with violent hoodrats and thugs, and that keep them poor are contained in their own communities. The numbers don't lie. You don't like the statistics, but they are real. Whites do not force black women to produce over 70% bastards, to force black men to become unwilling fathers before they are ready to support a family, or to cripple those men's financial future with child support and jail. Whites don't force blacks to kill each other at rates that rival war zones in Iraq and Afghanistan. These are things that blacks choose to do and blacks are responsible for doing. It isn't white racists who come to schools and scream racism at teachers and principals any time black children are expected to behave and do their schoolwork. The main problems in the black communities are caused by blacks, themselves.
I could have posted more of the comments in the thread (They actually went on some diatribes about Chicago and Tampa because of course.), but trust me, they're just as bad. Some of them are actually worse, as in "Let's kill welfare and give the black boys some Vaseline! That'll stop bastard pregnancies!" Notice how this person is arguing from largely anecdotal bullshit when it comes to single mothers to 'hoodrats and thugs'. I say anecdotal because this person is citing situations that are usually sensationalized on the local news, or gods forbid, Maury fuckin' Povich, especially when it comes to the unwed mother and child support bullshit.
In fact, this kind of boogeyman is easy to tear down when you look at the statistics for teen pregnancy on the CDC website. Teen pregnancy among Black Americans has gone down from 120 per 1000 in 1991 to 39 per 1000 in 2014. I'd say that's a huge improvement, but people like these will still look for a reason, any at all, to whine, bitch and complain about it. Wanna know what the worst part is? This individual is a Billary supporter. Yeah, because according to this moron, Sanders would have dragged us down the dreaded EssJayDubya rabbit hole. Remember that?
You're probably wondering why I would even respond to this kind of crap. Well, the disabled are treated and looked upon much the same way as most minorities, so I can definitely sympathize. I was also bullied relentlessly as a kid because things get to me easily so I do my best not to judge.
That being said, I still hate people.
See ya around,

Yup. Youtube is quite the cesspit.
It actually makes Orange state look sane by comparison.

You Know
The problem with the world today can be summed up in one word:
people
And that's the damn truth.
However, every once in a while you'll find a person in your life who will just let down their walls. Let you in completely. Inspire you. Make you try to reach new heights. Let you know what *love* really is. When that happens, it knocks you out of your socks and puts you on a new path. It's real magic.
I've always said that each of us has true magic within ourselves. The ability to inspire, and shock, and do good for others. When you do that, you impart your magic to others in the world. Human magic. Those two words don't go together often, but when it happens--it is truly awesome.
I try to give my magic to others so they can achieve better things in their lives. When it gels, it is amazing.
I hate people, too. The problem is that people can be magical, and that makes me love some of them so very much!
Edit to add: Don't give up on all people. Some folks around here seem pretty damn good!
I love all that you say, apenultimate,
despite the “I hate people, too” part; which I have difficulty believing, in context of your other sentiments ; ).

I hear you. But...
I understand your disgust with racists' depiction of black issues. There is no excuse for racism, and its practitioners should be shunned.
But.
There are actual issues in the black community, and many of them were caused by or exacerbated by Democrats. The Clinton Regime's "end welfare as we know it" created far more problems than it solved. Their "superpredators must be brought to heel" led to unconscionable levels of black incarceration. Even Obama's ACA has created a class of people who must either not work or must work under the table in order to secure health insurance.
My fear is that focusing on the racists, who misuse statistics to denote inferiority, ignores the actual substantive problems those statistics reveal. We should and could be addressing those problem as a national priority. But we're not.
I tried to explain this to the person in question.
To some people, even some black folks (Such as the person in question, who I also mentioned above that they are voting for Clinton) and other folks from disadvantaged backgrounds, none of that matters one little bit. Instead, they'll prattle on and on about how 'Those people need to be responsible blah blah blah'. You know, internalized prejudice with a touch of authoritarianism and misogyny for good measure. I guess that's just how it goes for some from poorer backgrounds who are lucky enough to rise above their station even a little.
The insanity of it all just makes me want to scream.

A tiny correction, if you will.
My observation: Poor people are not necessarily sympathetic towards other poor people under stress. The "buck-up", "tough it out", "get a job", "those people need to take responsibility" rhetoric flows freely from the disadvantaged. Well maybe my observations are unique, irrelevant, and not representative as they are mostly from the 1950s and 60s.
Actually, that's true as well. I've lived in places like that.
And it's a damn shame society hasn't changed a bit since then on that front, especially considering the fact that more and more jobs are being outsourced or automated. Hell, just a couple months ago my local Walmart put in a few self checkout lanes.

Just for yucks, I did a little fact checking.
Blacks actually do commit about half the murders in this country, and I'd like to see a knowledgeable and empathetic black person comment about that.
The 72% unwed mother number has been debunked, it came from someone on TV; but it is 67%. OTOH, unwed does not necessarily mean absent fathers; many are choosing to live together without marriage, just like young whites often do.
Most of the rest of the above of course is narrow-minded opinion, for which fact checking is not the point.

I get the murder thing. Even so that's no reason to demonize..
the entire group as a whole. That's just plain wrong no matter who is doing it.
