Guess who else is a Putin Puppet? Bernie and Jill

That didn't take long. It seems that everyone was a Putin Puppet except for establishment candidates.

Today's NY Times headline: Trump’s Conspicuous Silence Leaves a Struggle Against Russia Without a Leader

Today's Politico headline: Sanders silent on claim that Russians backed him in 2016

You see! If Sanders wasn't in the pocket of Putin he would immediately apologize for his treason. Proof! They're the same!

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders declined to directly address Friday's revelation that Russian actors sought to boost his presidential primary campaign and sink Hillary Clinton's in 2016, instead insisting that the special counsel’s investigation proceed unimpeded.
The indictment revealed that the efforts included “operations primarily intended to communicate derogatory information about Hillary Clinton, to denigrate other candidates such as Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio, and to support Bernie Sanders and then-candidate Donald Trump.”
Russian “specialists were instructed to post content that focused on ‘politics in the USA’ and to ‘use any opportunity to criticize Hillary and the rest (except Sanders and Trump—we support them.),’” the indictment continued.

Wait a second. Something is missing. Could it be that Politico is covering up for an even more devious crime?

On or about Nov. 3, 2016, just five days before the election, the Russians tried to boost Stein’s campaign by buying an ad to post on the Instagram account “Blacktivisit,” according to the indictment. The ad read in part: “Choose peace and vote for Jill Stein. Trust me, it’s not a wasted vote.”

Why didn't Politico mention Stein's treason? Could it be that Politico is a Putin Puppet too?
Just how deep does this konspiracy go?

@Dr. John Carpenter I have always said this new McCarthyism and censorship craze has and will continue to be used against the Left. Mother Jones had an article:

Russian Trolls Stoked Anger Over Black Lives Matter More Than Was Previously Known
As Trump and Clinton battled, Kremlin operatives duped the left, the right—and Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey.
https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2018/01/russian-trolls-hyped-anger-...

The article sites soem research from University of Washington that puts a "statisical patina" on claiming Russian badness over BLM.

http://faculty.washington.edu/kstarbi/examining-trolls-polarization.pdf

Many assumptions made about the data which make it very weak, but look at the bottom of the paper--partially funded by Office of Naval Research. Good lord.

@MrWebster

The 'disinformation' claims apparently relate to the mere mention of BLM, which seems to indicate that the very idea of Black Lives Mattering is considered 'disinformation' by the McCatharyists. Because in their view, it's evidently UnAmerican to consider that the lives of any fellow-Americans who happen to be Black could possibly matter. And this interesting theory is carried by once-reputable media such as Mother Jones, even if it did abandon all principle with the corruption of Corn, writing pro-Monsanto articles.

Made me too nauseous to do more than skim much of it, but the sick lunacy, it burns... how do any people manage to swallow this racist, psychopathic, senseless nonsense?

More to the point, this has been the plan since 11:55pm of November 7th, 2016.

One does not have to do too much of The Googling to find hit pieces like this one at the incipient stage of the "struggle against progressives". They're running a year long Pavlovian-like campaign to get folks to think Putin/Russia whenever they hear Sanders/Progressive/Stein.

Common, garden variety dissent from the left is being propagandized as Russian Propaganda.

Hacked emails show that movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, a longtime ally of Hillary Clinton and a major fundraiser for her 2016 campaign, urged her campaign team to silence rival Bernie Sanders’s message against police shootings of African-Americans. How long is this charade going to continue? I suggest Trump be given a final ultimatum to either come up with sufficient proof of his innocence or be impeached and hung as a traitor at the next full moon.

At least the illegal witch hunt against Hillary has finally been put to rest. Anyone with any intelligence knows she has never willfully done anything wrong or immoral in her entire life. Why is that? Could it be because it was barely legal for them to do that? Why yes I think that is why people don't want too much attention brought to it.

Not sure what else Bernie is supposed to say about this accusation, but he's fully vested with the Russian interference propaganda.

“It has been clear to everyone (except Donald Trump) (and me) that Russia was deeply involved in the 2016 elections and intends to be involved in the 2018 elections. It is the American people who should be deciding the political future of our country, not Mr. Putin and the Russian oligarchs,” Sanders said in a statement. “It is absolutely imperative that the Mueller investigation be allowed to go forward without obstruction from the Trump administration or Congress.”

Bernie, Bernie, Bernie, exactly how did anyone in Russia get one person here to change their minds and vote for someone who they weren't planning on voting for? In other words Bernie, where is the damn proof?

The idea that Russia messed with our social issues is pretty damn funny. I think that with the number of people who cops shoot, our social issues are pretty fucked up as they are.

BTW, has it struck anybody else that TCC valudates The Peter Principle? She definitely found her own level of incompetence.

The Peter principle is a concept in management theory formulated by educator Laurence J. Peter and published in 1969. It states that the selection of a candidate for a position is based on the candidate's performance in their current role, rather than on abilities relevant to the intended role. Thus, employees only stop being promoted once they can no longer perform effectively, and "managers rise to the level of their incompetence".

But they post that one photo of Jill sitting with Putin and for them it's evidence that she is Putin's puppet.

In addition to using Correct the Record to have hired people going on to websites and inputting what they had been told to what she did with the DNC by controlling where the money went.

It was illegal for one candidate to have total control over the organization that was in charge of the primary.

Gary described the party as fully under the control of Hillary’s campaign, which seemed to confirm the suspicions of the Bernie camp. The campaign had the DNC on life support, giving it money every month to meet its basic expenses, while the campaign was using the party as a fund-raising clearinghouse.

This is basically money laundering.

Individuals who had maxed out their $2,700 contribution limit to the campaign could write an additional check for $353,400 to the Hillary Victory Fund—that figure represented $10,000 to each of the 32 states’ parties who were part of the Victory Fund agreement—$320,000—and $33,400 to the DNC. The money would be deposited in the states first, and transferred to the DNC shortly after that. Money in the battleground states usually stayed in that state, but all the other states funneled that money directly to the DNC, which quickly transferred the money to Brooklyn.

Yet the states kept less than half of 1 percent of the $82 million they had amassed from the extravagant fund-raisers Hillary’s campaign was holding, just as Gary had described to me when he and I talked in August. When the Politicostory described this arrangement as “essentially … money laundering” for the Clinton campaign, Hillary’s people were outraged at being accused of doing something shady. Bernie’s people were angry for their own reasons, saying this was part of a calculated strategy to throw the nomination to Hillary.

I think that this is up for debate and this should be investigated.

The funding arrangement with HFA and the victory fund agreement was not illegal, but it sure looked unethical. If the fight had been fair, one campaign would not have control of the party before the voters had decided which one they wanted to lead. This was not a criminal act, but as I saw it, it compromised the party’s integrity.

If one has to cheat to win, what does that say about the candidate?

"The Americans are really impressionable people, they see what they want to see. [...] If they want to see the devil, let them see him."

Mueller Indictment - The "Russian Influence" Is A Commercial Marketing Scheme

Yesterday the Justice Department indicted the Russian Internet Research Agency on some dubious legal grounds. It covers thirteen Russian people and three Russian legal entities. The main count of the indictment is an alleged "Conspiracy to Defraud the United States".

The published indictment gives support to our long held believe that there was no "Russian influence" campaign during the U.S. election. What is described and denounced as such was instead a commercial marketing scheme which ran click-bait websites to generate advertisement revenue and created online crowds around virtual persona to promote whatever its commercial customers wanted to promote.

The indictment is fodder for the public to prove that the Mueller investigation is "doing something". It is full of unproven assertions and assumptions. It is a sham in that none of the Russian persons or companies indicted will ever come in front of a U.S. court. That is bad because the indictment is build on the theory of a new crime which, unless a court throws it out, can be used to incriminate other people in other cases and might even apply to this blog. The later part of this post will refer to that.

In the early 1990s some dude in St.Petersburg made a good business selling hot dogs. He then opened a colorful restaurant. He invited local celebrities and politicians to gain notoriety while serving cheap food for too high prices. It was a good business. A few years later he moved to Moscow and gained contracts to cater to schools and to the military. The food he served was still substandard.
...
The Justice Department indictment is quite long and detailed. It must have been expensive. If you read it do so with the above in mind. Skip over the assumptions and claims of political interference and digest only the facts. All that is left is, as explained, a commercial marketing scheme.

I will not go into all its detail of the indictment but here are some points that support the above description.
