Ground Control to Planet Lockdown: This Is Only a Test

For your consideration, this longish op-ed column by Pepe Escobar, April 2, 2020, strategic-culture.org  Given ‘republishable with attribution, I’ll paste all of it in so that the entire flavor of it comes though, even though you may know much of it already. I’ve added a few bolds for emphasis.

“As much as Covid-19 is a circuit breaker, a time bomb and an actual weapon of mass destruction (WMD), a fierce debate is raging worldwide on the wisdom of mass quarantine applied to entire cities, states and nations.

Those against it argue Planet Lockdown not only is not stopping the spread of Covid-19 but also has landed the global economy into a cryogenic state – with unforeseen, dire consequences. Thus quarantine should apply essentially to the population with the greatest risk of death: the elderly.

With Planet Lockdown transfixed by heart-breaking reports from the Covid-19 frontline, there’s no question this is an incendiary assertion.

In parallel, a total corporate media takeover is implying that if the numbers do not substantially go down, Planet Lockdown – an euphemism for house arrest – remains, indefinitely.

Michael Levitt, 2013 Nobel Prize in chemistry and Stanford biophysicist, was spot on when he calculated that China would get through the worst of Covid-19 way before throngs of health experts believed, and that “What we need is to control the panic”.

Let’s cross this over with some facts and dissident opinion, in the interest of fostering an informed debate.

The report Covid-19 – Navigating the Uncharted was co-authored by Dr. Anthony Fauci – the White House face of the fight –, H. Clifford Lane, and CDC director Robert R. Redfield. So it comes from the heart of the U.S. healthcare establishment.

The report explicitly states, “the overall clinical consequences of Covid-19 may ultimately be more akin to those of a severe seasonal influenza (which has a case fatality rate of approximately 0.1%) or a pandemic influenza (similar to those in 1957 and 1968) rather than a disease similar to SARS or MERS, which have had case fatality rates of 9 to 10% and 36%, respectively.”

On March 19, four days before Downing Street ordered the British lockdown, Covid-19 was downgraded from the status of “High Consequence Infectious Disease.”

John Lee, recently retired professor of pathology and former NHS consultant pathologist, has recently argued that, “the world’s 18,944 coronavirus deaths represent 0.14 per cent of the total. These figures might shoot up but they are, right now, lower than other infectious diseases that we live with (such as flu).”

He recommends, “a degree of social distancing should be maintained for a while, especially for the elderly and the immune-suppressed. But when drastic measures are introduced, they should be based on clear evidence. In the case of Covid-19, the evidence is not clear.”

That’s essentially the same point developed by a Russian military intel analyst.

No less than 22 scientists – see here and here – have expanded on their doubts about the Western strategy.

Dr. Sucharit Bhakdi, Professor Emeritus of Medical Microbiology at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, has provoked immense controversy with his open letter to Chancellor Merkel, stressing the “truly unforeseeable consequences of the drastic containment measures which are currently being applied in large parts of Europe.”

Even New York governor Andrew Cuomo admitted on the record about the error of quarantining elderly people with illnesses alongside the fit young population.

The absolutely key issue is how the West was caught completely unprepared for the spread of Covid-19 – even after being provided a head start of two months by China, and having the time to study different successful strategies applied across Asia.

There are no secrets for the success of the South Korean model.

South Korea was producing test kits already in early January, and by March was testing 100,000 people a day, after establishing strict control of the whole population – to Western cries of “no protection of private life”. That was before the West embarked on Planet Lockdown mode.

South Korea was all about testing early, often and safely – in tandem with quick, thorough contact tracing, isolation and surveillance.

Covid-19 carriers are monitored with the help of video-surveillance cameras, credit card purchases, smartphone records. Add to it SMS sent to everyone when a new case is detected near them or their place of work. Those in self-isolation need an app to be constantly monitored; non-compliance means a fine to the equivalent of $2,800.

Controlled demolition in effect

In early March, the Chinese Journal of Infectious Diseases, hosted by the Shanghai Medical Association, pre-published an Expert Consensus on Comprehensive Treatment of Coronavirus in Shanghai. Treatment recommendations included, “large doses of vitamin C…injected intravenously at a dose of 100 to 200 mg / kg per day. The duration of continuous use is to significantly improve the oxygenation index.”

That’s the reason why 50 tons of Vitamin C was shipped to Hubei province in early February. It’s a stark example of a simple “mitigation” solution capable of minimizing economic catastrophe.

In contrast, it’s as if the brutally fast Chinese “people’s war” counterpunch against Covid-19 had caught Washington totally unprepared. Steady intel rumbles on the Chinese net point to Beijing having already studied all plausible leads towards the origin of the Sars-Cov-2 virus – vital information that will be certainly weaponized, Sun Tzu style, at the right time.

As it stands, the sustainability of the complex Eurasian integration project has not been substantially compromised. As the EU has provided the whole planet with a graphic demonstration of its cluelessness and helplessness, everyday the Russia-China strategic partnership gets stronger – increasingly investing in soft power and advancing a pan-Eurasia dialogue which includes, crucially, medical help.

Facing this process, the EU’s top diplomat, Joseph Borrell, sounds indeed so helpless: “There is a global battle of narratives going on in which timing is a crucial factor. […] China has brought down local new infections to single figures – and it is now sending equipment and doctors to Europe, as others do as well. China is aggressively pushing the message that, unlike the U.S., it is a responsible and reliable partner. In the battle of narratives we have also seen attempts to discredit the EU (…) We must be aware there is a geo-political component including a struggle for influence through spinning and the ‘politics of generosity’. Armed with facts, we need to defend Europe against its detractors.”

That takes us to really explosive territory. A critique of the Planet Lockdown strategy inevitably raises serious questions pointing to a controlled demolition of the global economy. What is already in stark effect are myriad declinations of martial law, severe social media policing in Ministry of Truth mode, and the return of strict border controls.

These are unequivocal markings of a massive social re-engineering project, complete with inbuilt full monitoring, population control and social distancing promoted as the new normal.

That would be taking to the limit Secretary of State Mike “we lie, we cheat, we steal” Pompeo’s assertion, on the record, that Covid-19 is a live military exercise: “This matter is going forward — we are in a live exercise here to get this right.”

All hail BlackRock

So as we face a New Great Depression, steps leading to a Brave New World are already discernable. It goes way beyond a mere Bretton Woods 2.0, in the manner that Pam and Russ Martens superbly deconstruct the recent $2 trillion, Capitol Hill-approved stimulus to the U.S. economy.

Essentially, the Fed will “leverage the bill’s $454 million bailout slush fund into $4.5 trillion”. And no questions are allowed on who gets the money, because the bill simply cancels the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) for the Fed.

The privileged private contractor for the slush fund is none other than BlackRock. Here’s the extremely short version of the whole, astonishing scheme, masterfully detailed here.

Wall Street has turned the Fed into a hedge fund. The Fed is going to own at least two thirds of all U.S. Treasury bills wallowing in the market before the end of the year.

The U.S. Treasury will be buying every security and loan in sight while the Fed will be the banker – financing the whole scheme.

So essentially this is a Fed/ Treasury merger. A behemoth dispensing loads of helicopter money – with BlackRock as the undisputable winner.

BlackRock is widely known as the biggest money manager on the planet. Their tentacles are everywhere. They own 5% of Apple, 5% of Exxon Mobil, 6% of Google, second largest shareholder of AT&T (Turner, HBO, CNN, Warner Brothers) – these are just a few examples.

They will buy all these securities and manage those dodgy special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) on behalf of the Treasury.

BlackRock not only is the top investor in Goldman Sachs. Better yet: Blackrock is bigger than Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan and Deutsche Bank combined. BlackRock is a serious Trump donor. Now, for all practical purposes, it will be the operating system – the Chrome, Firefox, Safari – of Fed/Treasury.

This represents the definitive Wall Street-ization of the Fed – with no evidence whatsoever it will lead to any improvement in the lives of the average American.

Western corporate media, en masse, have virtually ignored the myriad, devastating economic consequences of Planet Lockdown. Wall to wall coverage barely mentions the astonishing economic human wreckage already in effect – especially for the masses barely surviving, so far, in the informal economy.

For all practical purposes, the Global War on Terror (GWOT) has been replaced by the Global War on Virus (GWOV). But what is not being seriously analyzed is the Perfect Toxic Storm: a totally shattered economy; The Mother of All Financial Crashes – barely masked by the trillions in helicopter money from the Fed and the ECB; the tens of millions of unemployed engendered by the New Great Depression; the millions of small businesses that will simply disappear; a widespread, global mental health crisis. Not to mention the masses of elderly, especially in the U.S., that will be issued an unspoken “drop dead” notice.

Beyond any rhetoric about “decoupling”, the global economy is already, de facto, split in two. On one side, we have Eurasia, Africa and swathes of Latin America – what China will be painstakingly connecting and reconnecting via the New Silk Roads. On the other side, we have North America and selected Western vassals. A puzzled Europe lies in the middle.

A cryogenically induced global economy certainly facilitates a reboot. Trumpism is the New Exceptionalism – so that means an isolationist MAGA on steroids. In contrast, China will painstakingly reboot its market base along the New Silk Roads – Africa and Latin America included – to replace the 20% of trade/exports to be lost with the U.S.

The meager $1,200 checks promised to Americans are a de facto precursor of the much touted Universal Basic Income (UBI). They may become permanent as tens of millions of people will be permanently unemployed. That will facilitate the transition towards a totally automated, 24/7 economy run by AI – thus the importance of 5G.

And that’s where ID2020 comes in.

AI and ID2020

The European Commission is involved in a crucial but virtually unknown project, CREMA (Cloud Based Rapid Elastic Manufacturing) which aims to facilitate the widest possible implementation of AI in conjunction to the advent of a cashless One-World system.

The end of cash necessarily implies a One-World government capable of dispensing – and controlling – UBI; a de facto full accomplishment of Foucault’s studies on biopolitics. Anyone is liable to be erased from the system if an algorithm equals this individual with dissent.

It gets even sexier when absolute social control is promoted as an innocent vaccine.

ID2020 [<Gates Foundation and Partners] is self-described as a benign alliance of “public-private partners”. Essentially, it is an electronic ID platform based on generalized vaccination. And its starts at birth; newborns will be provided with a “portable and persistent biometrically-linked digital identity.”

GAVI, the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization, pledges to “protect people’s health “ and provide “immunization for all”. Top partners and sponsors, apart from the WHO, include, predictably, Big Pharma.

At the ID2020 Alliance summit last September in New York, it was decided that the “Rising to the Good ID Challenge” program would be launched in 2020. That was confirmed by the World Economic Forum (WEF) this past January in Davos. The digital identity will be tested with the government of Bangladesh.

That poses a serious question: was ID2020 timed to coincide with what a crucial sponsor, the WHO, qualified as a pandemic? Or was a pandemic absolutely crucial to justify the launch of ID2020?

As game-changing trial runs go, nothing of course beats Event 201, which took place less than a month after ID2020.

The Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security in partnership with, once again, the WEF, as well as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, described Event 201 as “a high-level pandemic exercise”. The exercise “illustrated areas where public/private partnerships will be necessary during the response to a severe pandemic in order to diminish large-scale economic and societal consequences.”

With Covid-19 in effect as a pandemic, the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health was forced to issue a statement basically saying they just “modeled a fictional coronavirus pandemic, but we explicitly stated that it was not a prediction”.

There’s no question “a severe pandemic, which becomes ‘Event 201’ would require reliable cooperation among several industries, national governments, and key international institutions”, as spun by the sponsors. Covid-19 is eliciting exactly this kind of “cooperation”. Whether it’s “reliable” is open to endless debate.

The fact is that, all over Planet Lockdown, a groundswell of public opinion is leaning towards defining the current state of affairs as a global psyop: a deliberate global meltdown – the New Great Depression – imposed on unsuspecting citizens by design.

The powers that be, taking their cue from the tried and tested, decades-old CIA playbook, of course are breathlessly calling it a “conspiracy theory”. Yet what vast swathes of global public opinion observe is a – dangerous – virus being used as cover for the advent of a new, digital financial system, complete with a forced vaccine cum nanochip creating a full, individual, digital identity.

The most plausible scenario for our immediate future reads like clusters of smart cities linked by AI, with people monitored full time and duly micro-chipped doing what they need with a unified digital currency, in an atmosphere of Bentham’s and Foucault’s Panopticum on overdrive.

So if this is really our future, the existing world-system has to go. This is a test, this is only a test.”

leading causes of death for 2017 (and 2016). See page 9.

Influenza and pneumonia
2017 deaths : 55,672
2016 deaths : 51,537

This morning (April 13th, 2020) the news has reported that we have passed the 20,000 deaths mark for COVID-19, or approximately 40% of the annual deaths every year from influenza and pneumonia.

body counts convey; i sit staring and make little sense of them (even arithmetic deficient by now). i will say we have dr. birx reporting that the US counts every death with a positive test as a corona death, even if there are multiple reasons for the death, or comorbidity as CB calls it (as italy counts coronavirus deaths).

Dr. Birx: Unlike Some Countries, "If Someone Dies With COVID-19 We Are Counting That As A COVID-19 Death", Tim Harris, realclearpolitics.com, April 8, 2020

“At Tuesday's White House coronavirus press conference, task force member Dr. Deborah Birx said that while some countries are reporting coronavirus fatality numbers differently, in the U.S. you are counted as a victim of the pandemic if you die while testing positive for the virus, even if something else causes your death.

DR. DEBORAH BIRX: So, I think in this country we've taken a very liberal approach to mortality. And I think the reporting here has been pretty straightforward over the last five to six weeks. Prior to that when there wasn't testing in January and February that's a very different situation and unknown.

There are other countries that if you had a preexisting condition and let's say the virus caused you to go to the ICU and then have a heart or kidney problem some countries are recording as a heart issue or a kidney issue and not a COVID-19 death. Right now we are still recording it and we will I mean the great thing about having forms that come in and a form that has the ability to market as COVID-19 infection the intent is right now that those if someone dies with COVID-19 we are counting that as a COVID-19 death.”

some countries test ubiquitously; the US has so few test kits (and some seem to render both false negatives and positives) that only those with symptoms get tested. all in all, it's quite unclear how deadly the disease actually is.

from China locked in hybrid war with US; Fallout from Covid-19 outbreak puts Beijing and Washington on a collision course’, by Pepe Escobar March 17, 2020

He directly quoted US CDC director Robert Redfield who, when asked last week whether some deaths by coronavirus had been discovered posthumously in the US, replied that “some cases have actually been diagnosed this way in the US today.”

Zhao’s explosive conclusion is that Covid-19 was already in effect in the US before being identified in Wuhan – due to the by now fully documented inability of US to test and verify differences compared with the flu.

Adding all that to the fact that coronavirus genome variations in Iran and Italy were sequenced and it was revealed they do not belong to the variety that infected Wuhan, Chinese media are now openly asking questions and drawing a connection with the shutting down in August last year of the “unsafe” military bioweapon lab at Fort Detrick, the Military Games, and the Wuhan epidemic. Some of these questions had been asked – with no response – inside the US itself.

Extra questions linger about the opaque Event 201 in New York on October 18, 2019: a rehearsal for a worldwide pandemic caused by a deadly virus – which happened to be coronavirus. This magnificent coincidence happened one month before the outbreak in Wuhan.

interpretation. One observation that I draw from the data is that more than twice as many people die from influenza and pneumonia every year than we have lost to COVID-19 and we have never needed to shut the country down. And that is IF you believe the COVID-19 death counts being reported, which I don't. There are 8 times more chronic lower respiratory deaths and 8 times more accident deaths every year compared to reported COVID-19 deaths, and over 100 times more deaths overall every year compared to current COVID-19 deaths, yet we're expected to believe that hospitals are being overrun with COVID-19 patients.

of people who die every year from lack of health care. Numerous doctors are reporting how they have to say that people died from COVID regardless if they were end stage cancer or other terminal diseases. Even some people have been saying that their families got it on the death certificates when they knew they hadn't.

I love this.

a bucket o' death. Like they are the categories that we put people in who die from ugly comorbidities that industry and governments would not like to have fairly counted. The CDC seems to point in that direction, given that Flu deaths are estimated in system that "...tracks the proportion of death certificates processed that list pneumonia or influenza as the underlying or contributing cause of death."

That sentence sounds like the same kind of massaging of the numbers to me...

Perhaps our intrepid scaly doctor could speak to that. I've heard it mentioned and cited in many of the pieces I've picked up along the way about how this is "not just a flu, bro" and how we have estimates only and different flu and pneumonia numbers than other countries.

I have not gotten confirmation from an MD, so...

is the long term damage it does to organs . It can affect the lungs because of scarring to the heart and it also affects the kidneys. Plus it can lay dormant in the body until some stressors causes it to flare up again. I'm seeing reports of it include with HIV where it can lay dormant for awhile until it attacks the body again. HIV is not a naturally accruing disease. This is the main reason why some people think it was created in a lab and deliberately released.

Here is an interesting article on this.

https://www.zerohedge.com/health/doctors-fear-coronavirus-survivors-may-...

Rumors are that HIV was cooked up in a lab and deliberately released on the population. And just like Trump didn't address this immediately, neither did Reagan because of who it targeted. The future of this virus will be interesting to follow up on.

I agree that the massaging of the numbers is happening. The question is why? Doctors are being told that no matter what the causes of death are they are supposed to list it as corona virus. Why fudge the numbers? Who benefits from this?

Sorry if this is clear. Really bad hair day and I'm altered. I know what I meant though...

I was speaking to the silliness of claiming that these numbers are being "inflated" and improperly counted while comparing them to flu and pneumonia, which are estimated and inflated and given an over under of 30-50% when it comes to deaths (If I'm reading the chart right...).

It's a silly, teleological argument, and it's not really germane to this bug. Can we get immunity? How bad are the permanent effects? Is the 2nd verse worse than the first deadly? Is that the cardiac issue? How about the CNS infection? What about fertility rates? The terrifying questions about this bug have not even begun to be asked, let alone answered. Why are our infectious disease specialists taking point all AIDS people? Shouldn't they be flu or respiratory specialists?

Oh, and now we're looking at HIV type infection method - apparently it's coming in via T cells and not just ACE-2 receptors. Maybe it isn't like a respiratory thing at all...

We know nothing about this bug, except that it most assuredly didn't evolve naturally. And if it did, then some higher power really doesn't like us much... And for those who are wanting to go for herd immunity, all we need are another 263,600,000 positive tests and we'll get to see if we're the type of herd that can stomach this bug...

I've read more than a few white papers on this and been following it closely since Jan 20, and it stinks. But it stinks not just in a false way, but in a bad way. There's lots of conspiracy smoke here but I'm pretty sure there's also a fire. And if it ain't with the bug it's with what the bug is covering for - the next two Horsemen - Famine & War - they're in the barn getting saddled up. I think Famine had a pretty fun ride in 2019.

I'm completely terrified of the socio-political situation. Food crises loom and authoritarianism has gone from creeping to standing on it's hind legs with fangs menacing. I don't know what's about to happen or if it happened already, but I do know that the arguments against the numbers and potential danger of this bug fly in the face of the precautionary principle.

Perhaps it really is a devastating, terrible disease. Maybe we should wait on writing it off as bullshit fake number propaganda.

Stay safe, man...

We know nothing about this bug, except that it most assuredly didn't evolve naturally.

This is the pandora's box of infectious disease. Subtle mutations, so far, not seeming very serious because so far it seems to be type-shifting only, such as from type A to a different of the other 4 types. Depending upon vaccine targets, the more specific ones may be rendered useless if narrowly-targeted against only 1 of the 5 types.

But effects such as multi-organ pathology would render a strictly ACE-receptor pathology to a serum-based pathology, such as T-cell effects.

Chemokine species, e.g. IL-1, IL-6, etc., will be differentially promoted or suppressed by the body's immune mechanisms, resulting in different end-organ responsiveness, hence differing therapeutic targets.

The phase of infection may involve factors of latency, such as seen in syphilis, a bacterial disorder. Phasees would include: presymptomatic or initially asymptomatic, overt primary infection (mild-lethal), early asymptomatic latency, secondary (e.g. cardiomyopathy and nephritis), late latency (once again an asymptomatic period, and tertiary (tertiary means it's all for folks--you tertiary cases are beyond medical redemption).

it more complicated, as in counting the first deaths in dec. and adding up how many months until now, then figuring out the percentages, yada, yada. i.gave.up.

but i will say that on twitter this week, many folks in the hot spots of NYC and UK show photos of empty hospital ER waiting rooms and 'triage tents' outside (the Elmherst one).

i have a long page by a virologist in the UK who tries to parse the 'how deadly is covid-19, but for all the words ad stats he writes, he says: 'it's not that simple'. i hadn't intended to use it yet, so i'd have to go back about 4 word docs.

thanks so much for the explanation, entrepeneur.

on later edit: i was incorrect, he was a pathologist, but: Dr. John Lee: How deadly is the coronavirus? It’s still far from clear, There is room for different interpretations of the data’, March 20, spectator.co.uk

about 3/4 of the way down the page:

Much of the response to Covid-19 seems explained by the fact that we are watching this virus in a way that no virus has been watched before. The scenes from the Italian hospitals have been shocking, and make for grim television. But television is not science.

Clearly, the various lockdowns will slow the spread of Covid-19 so there will be fewer cases. When we relax the measures, there will be more cases again. But this need not be a reason to keep the lockdown: the spread of cases is only something to fear if we are dealing with an unusually lethal virus. That’s why the way we record data will be hugely important. Unless we tighten criteria for recording death due only to the virus (as opposed to it being present in those who died from other conditions), the official figures may show a lot more deaths apparently caused by the virus than is actually the case. What then? How do we measure the health consequences of taking people’s lives, jobs, leisure and purpose away from them to protect them from an anticipated threat?

Which causes least harm?

The moral debate is not lives vs money. It is lives vs lives. It will take months, perhaps years, if ever, before we can assess the wider implications of what we are doing. The damage to children’s education, the excess suicides, the increase in mental health problems, the taking away of resources from other health problems that we were dealing with effectively. Those who need medical help now but won’t seek it, or might not be offered it. And what about the effects on food production and global commerce, that will have unquantifiable consequences for people of all ages, perhaps especially in developing economies?
...........
In the next few days and weeks, we must continue to look critically and dispassionately at the Covid-19 evidence as it comes in. Above all else, we must keep an open mind — and look for what is, not for what we fear might be.

@wendy davis MDs pressured to register deaths as SARS2-related even absent proof, e.g. definitive studies of antigens, antibodies tested in decedent not performed. One example, obvious, but not a far stretch: person exposed to known SARS2 infected person gets killed in automobile accident; some jurisdictions--and Birx want them classified as SARS2 related = transmuted to SARS2-induced death.

Calling either of them SARS2 is just annoying. The only such usage I could find in 5 minutes or so of looking was at the mayo clinic's website, referring to a particular test kit. However, I won't be surprised if that ends up becoming the popular vernacular term -- it's so much easier to say and to type.

I do trust their skepticism, but they seem to go all crazy when a person's name gets attached to the conspiracy.

case scenario extrapolation?

And what is the worst case extrapolation?

How many people are dying in car accidents with COVID? How many are dying of some wasting disease while having COVID?

Seems like it's a bit overblown and hyperbolic to me.

has been strange. I've got a knack for seeing the information flow, not saying I'm right, but I usually know when something is going on...

Right off the bat this thing stunk. The way the information was flowing was WRONG, plain and simple. I've maintained that all the way along, even as I bought the numbers and epidemiological studies I was able to lay my hands on.

It is super strange. I have no clue what's happening. I do know that the stuff I heard from the get go - infection vectors, types of infections, etc, all wind up coming out in various media and sciencey studies.

But I really do have no clue. I do know that food shortages are looming though. I saw that with my own eyes last summer and fall and the information coming out is typical of just off corporate news.

Driving me nuts though. I really do hope it's fake. That would be nice.

i'll have to pass, but i did find a brief synopsis of the book she's speaking about:

The Three Waves of Volunteers and the New Earth , goodreads.com

In 1945 when the atomic bombs were dropped in WWII, our “protectors” and “watchers” in outer space saw that Earth was on a collision course with disaster. The prime directive of non-interference prevented them from taking any action, but then they came up with a brilliant plan to save Earth and assist her in her ascension. They couldn’t interfere from the “outside,” but maybe they could influence from the “inside.” So the call went out for volunteers to come and help. “Earth is in trouble – who wants to volunteer?”
The native souls living on Earth were too caught up on the wheel of karma. The only hope was to ask for pure souls to come who had never been trapped on the karmic cycle.

Dolores in her hypnosis work has discovered three waves of these volunteers. Some have come direct from the “Source” and have never lived in any type of physical body before. Others have lived as space beings on other planets or other dimensions. Because all memory is erased upon entry to the Earth dimension, they do not remember their assignment. Thus these beautiful souls have a difficult time adjusting to our chaotic world. These souls have a vital role to play as they help all of the rest of us ascend to the New Earth.

(and so on)

very trippy. STNG was bound by a similar prime directive.

Star Trek. Fucking really? Use an extra couple of keystones, maven of mighty messages, by which to better communicate. The use of acronyms should be restricted to few, very few, cases.

To disrupt the comprehension of your message by resorting to non-standard acronyms detracts from communication and possibility of changing opinions.

How would readers react to an assault of medical acronyms, known only to the inculcated? Would that seem to be a good way to convince your readers of your message?

Oh, but everyone knows STNG, you clod!

This clod did not know. Only because I think your reference might be of value comprehending your message did I research the acronym. The acronym's referent was in my opinion useless. If you want to talk about "prime directives", why don't you go to the source: Aristotle?

so i'll assume then 'when' was yesterday, monday' the 'who', i have no idea. i sent the tweet to sometimes café denizen, author, and friend in berlin, davidly.

he responded:

Don't know the source but there's a demo of this size of greater about one pressing topic or another every weekend of the year, and especially more when it's a three or four day long one at that. I used to go (to) one every Monday from Alexanderplatz.

I don't much feel a sense of force in my environs, but then again I'm not a restaurateur, who along with club owners are the ones suffering the most. Otherwise there isn't a closed shop or bakery or supermarket to speak of. Construction work goes unabated, and white collar work where it's been curtailed and not internetted, is scaled to 60 percent pay part-time (until May at this point), which is paid in full (the 60 percent, that is) by the same ole funneling money through the banks routine, which for many of the aforementioned amounts to having the spring off. Of course there are employers who are exploiting there staff, as well.

As far as restriction of local travel and going about, the reports of cops clamping down on people do not jibe with my experience, which includes perambulating to the park to lounge in the sun.

on edit: you could check some of the related german #hashtags, although twitter is ruthlessly banning 'non-conforming' sites and whatnot.

in Berlin seems to differ from where I am (smaller town around 40000) close to Hamburg. I can imagine the atmosphere in Berlin as your friend describes it, but I haven't lived in a big city ever again in Germany after 1979. Washington DC felt like a small green city compared to the cities (like Berlin and Rome) I lived in before I came to the US. Apparently there isn't much of a lockdown as people stroll out into the parks etc.

My town feels still differently. Closed stores, stores having gone out of business quite a bit. What is open are foodstores like Aldi, Lidl, and others similar to Safeway in the US. Bakeries and Pharmacies are open. Fresh fruit and vegetable stores run by immigrants from the ME are open (thank you). I am pretty sure around end of April everything will be running again. Right now people obey by the regulations of keeping distance and wearing masks more and more. If you don't comply, people get quite aggressive and telling you 'to behave according to the rules'. Family members go out two persons at a time, lots of biking (to go food shopping), jogging and simple walking with the dogs. But mostly streets are very empty.

Moving restrictions are such that I can't enter the city of Hamburg (a five minute drive away), can'r drive to Berlin, as I can't enter the two Länder (our states) and pass through.

PS Sorry to be that sceptical vis a vis the video, I kind of don't believe in anything anymore these days and am not a twitter reader either. My bad. I don't do twitter, I don't do facebook, I just do C99p and a bit of youtube. Smile

Just when you think these social media moguls couldn't
get more evil they manage to up the bar.

SM is suppressing dissenting content about 5G and other
wireless technologies - even though there are hundreds of
papers showing worrisome biological effects at levels
currently deemed "safe". And even though thousands of
scientists/engineers/doctors have petitioned for a moratorium
on 5G and safety reviews of existing wireless technologies...

from the petition:

Despite widespread denial, the evidence that radio frequency (RF) radiation is harmful to life is already overwhelming. The accumulated clinical evidence of sick and injured human beings, experimental evidence of damage to DNA, cells and organ systems in a wide variety of plants and animals, and epidemiological evidence that the major diseases of modern civilization—cancer, heart disease and diabetes—are in large part caused by electromagnetic pollution, forms a literature base of well over 10,000 peer-reviewed studies.

If the telecommunications industry’s plans for 5G come to fruition, no person, no animal, no bird, no insect and no plant on Earth will be able to avoid exposure, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to levels of RF radiation that are tens to hundreds of times greater than what exists today, without any possibility of escape anywhere on the planet. These 5G plans threaten to provoke serious, irreversible effects on humans and permanent damage to all of the Earth’s ecosystems.

but i will say a few thing about 5G: a fellow from greece comes to the café railing against 5-g, even down to believing that it causes coronavirus, and no matter how many USian science links i give him as to relative safety compared to other sources, they don't change his mind. i won't go to the trouble today, but i will offer two things for you to contemplate:

1. if t'were a microsoft system, not chinese, would anyone be squawking? especially as europe wants the technology badly...

2. 5-g's encryption can't be broken by the NSA, or so i've read, and we can't have that, can we? but it makes a hella lot of sense to me.

gamed out rather specifically. you may remember snoopy dawg's having posted whitney webb's ' 'All Roads Lead to Dark Winter', Wednesday 1 Apr 2020

it's long, as it should be, but i keep beginning it anew, then backing off for time, eye fails, and so on, but to entice you to further reading:

Yet, upon examining not only these biosafety incidents at Fort Detrick, but the 2001 Anthrax attacks and the current Covid-19 outbreak, another odd commonality stands out — high-level war games exercise took place in June 2001 that eerily predicted not only the Anthrax attacks, but also the initial government narrative of those attacks and much, much more.

That June 2001 exercise, known as “Dark Winter,” also predicted many aspects of government pandemic response that would later re-emerge in last October’s simulation “Event 201,” which predicted a global pandemic caused by a novel Coronavirus just months before the Covid-19 outbreak. In addition, the U.S. government would lead its own multi-part series of pandemic simulations, called “Crimson Contagion,” that would also predict aspects of the Covid-19 outbreak and government response.

Upon further investigation, key leaders of both Event 201 and Crimson Contagion, not only have deep and longstanding ties to U.S. Intelligence and the U.S. Department of Defense, they were all previously involved in that same June 2001 exercise, Dark Winter. Some of these same individuals would also play a role in the FBI’s “sabotaged” investigation into the subsequent Anthrax attacks and are now handling major aspects of the U.S. government’s response to the Covid-19 crisis. One of those individuals, Robert Kadlec, was recently put in charge of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) entire Covid-19 response efforts, despite the fact that he was recently and directly responsible for actions that needlessly infected Americans with Covid-19.
