Happy Friday everyone. As always, past whatever you got.
There was a lunar eclipse last night. I was hoping to get some photos of it to post tonight, unfortunately Mother Nature did not cooperate. I requested she play Johnny Nash; I can see clearly now. Instead she chose Pink Floyd; Obscured by clouds. So, no eclipse shots to post tonight, just the regular old moon.

Love the snail trails.
I too get birds hitting my windows. Thankfully they've all been able to get up, get their wits about them, and fly away.

It's unavoidable even with hanging things for protection.
Over the past 25 years there have only been two casualties, one near casualty, and a few who were so big and strong they survived, even if the glass didn't.

My mom, who died over a year ago would have been 93 on the same day as the bird lost its life, tends to make me think there's a message there somewhere.

Bird strikes on windows can leave an imprint, from the powder and oil in the feathers, often fairly ethereal appearing... one name for them is something about bird angels... they certainly have gone to heaven at that point...

Often folks put predator flight silhouettes on windows which can be a deterrent in some situations pending light angles and all. Windows are a problem.

It was cloudy here so no peaking at the moon, but I do have the photo memory of it coming up over Mt. Ogden peaking out of a cloud the night before. I should have taken a picture of it.
