The Fact of the Matter is...

Joe Biden turns inappropriate touching accusations into a punchline Biden promised to be more “mindful.” His latest speech suggests he’s not living up to that.

Following his speech on Friday, a reporter asked Biden directly if he thinks he owes a “direct apology” to the women who have come forward to accuse him of inappropriate conduct. Biden indicated he does not.

The fact of the matter is I made it clear that if I made anyone feel uncomfortable, I feel badly about that. That was never my intention,” Biden said. “I’m sorry I didn’t understand more. I’m not sorry for any of my intentions. I’m not sorry for anything I’ve ever done.”

How you know someone is lying to you? When they start their statement with "the fact of the matter is". There are other tells..

Yes, I'm obsessing, but I can't help when the stupid keeps on coming..

Has doubling down when you’ve been accused of sexual impropriety ever worked out well? And yeah, the “I’m sorry you got offended” non-apology is always a sign of guilt.

I knew the Creepy Uncle Joe stuff was out there, but I didn’t see this playing out before he’d even officially started running, if ever. I’d still like to see him taken to task for all the shitty things he’s done politically but this feels like some kind of karma.

the most honest thing Joe Biden has ever said:

I’m not sorry for anything I’ve ever done.”

The American people need to remember that statement as they're reviewing his political record.
