an exit poll for California

In case you missed it, a commenter on a recent 28 May 2016 Richard Charnin blog: “the Institute for American Democracy & Election Integrity has arranged for the Columbus Institute of Contemporary Journalism to conduct an exit poll in California... they received a grant from Election Justice USA to cover the cost.

Democracy Counts! Democracy Counts!is developing an election audit system called the VeriCount Electoral Accountability System. Based on apps running on top of a powerful recording and reporting platform, it enables citizens to verify their elections.
Our goal is to provide VeriCount to American election verification organizations in time for the 2016 presidential election, and afterwards to release it to the world, cheaply or free.

the capacity to find out if their vote was recorded correctly? Or if alternative scenarios had occurred? Several Parties might not like that.

Are you trying to tell me that when Chris Matthews calls the nomination for Hillary Clinton like he already said he was gonna do, that some low down, dirty rotten dead enders are gonna bust his chops?

as I understand it.

1 party, 2 party, 50 parties. I think it is all good as long there is fair competition.

It's not necessary to have 100% certainty that every single vote was counted or recorded correctly without any error (intentional or unintentional).

The standard 3% margin of error is a balance between the amount of work required to sample thousands of voters, and the available manpower to sample as many precincts as possible.

For example, the supervisor says the Democratic Republican factory produced 10,000 'widgets': exactly 7000 red 'widgets' and 3000 blue 'widgets'. But a random sample by quality control workers, of 100 widgets, show that 50 were red and 50 were blue. Sorry, the tests show it's not even close to being true, official number are wrong, even if you counted a few by mistake which is normal in real world of mass production.

So when Hillary says she is beating or coming close to beating Bernie in all those 25 states, and the massive discrepancies between the election supervisor's numbers(counted by black box machines) and the random sampling (exit polling) numbers which are counted independently, then of course logically we can be 95% sure, or higher, that the official numbers are false and inaccurate. In fact, because the error rate is so great and continues on a regular basis, one has to assume it's not from normal mistakes due to incompetence but deliberate and repeated fraud and deception. People have been arrested, tried and jailed for lesser evidence in court than that. The fish really does rot from the head down.

Exit polls are real statistical data. It is an immediate record of a past event, not an opinion poll, straw poll or an entrance poll.

I'm learning the science and I'm trying to get involved with it locally these days.

of spreading democracy when we can't seem to maintain it here at home. Disgusting and shameful.

In any case, exit polls are a scientifically sound method to gauge the validity of an election. Except for officials here in the United States.

When they wanted to find a way to discredit the popular vote and remove legitimate leaders from office internationally, exit polls are used if it supports their side, but ignored if and when it doesn't work out the way they plan.

Here at home, it is said the Republican voters don't like the "biased liberal" media so they either don't respond to their polls or they lie to them in spite. Sure, it's normal to lie in an election. And normal to cheat and steal in public office. Criminal behavior is a normal part of our modern culture. I'd say there is something very wrong with that picture.

Honesty, truth and ethics. Human beings are basically good. It's natural to be this way. But short of a revolution, you have to cull the gross defects from running a society. This means insuring that rotten bureaucrats do not remain in office, keeping crooked wannabees out in the first place and constantly striving to bring in better examples of leadership.
