Thanks for the listen, Joe. Been a long time.

What a wild weird day it's been for Bernie fans. Reminds me of the day after the NY primary with it's glaring voter theft.

Here's a few things I found interesting today:

Palast piece about the cheating
http://www.gregpalast.com/california-stolen-sanders-right-nowspecial-bul...

and about future cheating in the general (12 min)

The Real News take on CA (8 min)
[video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nhKLYljMb_Q]

TYT take on voters falling in line (14 min)

Seems appropriate to re-post this:

There is nothing which I dread so much as a division of the republic into two great parties.. This...is to be dreaded as the greatest political evil under our Constitution.--John Adams

This is from last night, but it is pretty interesting (6.5 min) about the Sanders campaign.

Not when I think back on the news I read today. It was all election stuff. There must be other things going on...but I did not read it and have no news to share here. Did read a good summary of the election on DownWithTyranny http://downwithtyranny.blogspot.com/2016/06/reflections-on-election-year...

And I want to thank (is that the right word?) GradySeasons for the essay. Poorly timed and salt on the wounds as it was...but wow...I think we all needed a place to vent... And lo, the opportunity was presented.

Please check out PriceRip, Don M, Desert Rose, Scott C, Borkrom, U505, etc etc for their essays trying to get us to look forward and focus beyond the results last night in California. Or rant, but then please take a look at their essays tomorrow.

Life is going to get interesting around here. Lots of different views and ideas to discuss. And since I am going Green, it may be time to update my pic and tag line.

Warren to endorse Clinton: http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-election-warren-exclusive-idUSKCN0...

I didn't figure her to support the oligarchy. Guess I was wrong about this one. Good to know.

when she had an opportunity to matter she spent her time attacking Trump, which is what Hillary wanted to be doing. Instead of talking about the haves and have nots, the unfairness of the American system, income inequality and such (or even maybe foreign policy) she instead attacked Trump. So %#^%& her.

From your link, the comment about an endorsement came from:

several people familiar with Warren's thinking told Reuters.

Are they licensed mind readers? Or is the media once again trying to make waves on a still pond? Note that their comments are based on their assessment of how she thinks, not on anything she has actually said. And I am really getting tired of all of our "news" coming from unidentified sources...almost everything lately has.

I will wait until I hear the words come out of her mouth and have verified that it wasn't a synced audio switch.

Bernie won just about everything north of Sacramento. He was popular in my podunk county. He even took Del Norte County, in the upper left-hand corner of California, which is oddly conservative. It's so conservative that Romney took it in the 2012 presidential election.

Sad to see that San Francisco has become so gentrified -- so snotty -- that they no longer are the once vaunted liberal bastion. They voted Clinton. I suppose that means neoliberalism is the choice of wealthy Silicon Valley managerial class?

This is what it's come down to: our filthy-rich criminal owners are gonna make people choose between the warlord and the monkey.

Pinochet or David Duke. Because the fuckers calling the shots will know their George Kennan. Yes, THAT George Kennan, head of the State Dept. Policy Planning Staff after World War II. If you think that the basic tenets of US foreign policy have changed since then, you’d be wrong.

We have about 50% of the world’s wealth, but only 6.3% of its population. In this situation, we cannot fail to be the object of envy and resentment. Our real task in the coming period is to devise a pattern of relationships which will permit us to maintain this position of disparity without positive detriment to our national security. To do so, we will have to dispense with all sentimentality and day-dreaming; our attention will have to be concentrated everywhere on our immediate national objectives. We need not deceive ourselves that we can afford today the luxury of altruism and world-benefaction. We should cease to talk about vague and unreal objectives such as human rights, the raising of living standards, and democratization. The day is not far off when we are going to have to deal in straight power concepts. The less we are hampered by idealistic slogans, the better."

Hang tough brothers and sisters. We're all we got.
