I was just checking out this piece written by a reporter named John Kass over at the Chicago Tribune.
It reads in parts almost like an open letter to the Clintonites. I highly recommend you give it a read.
Hillary Clinton and Democratic bosses convene in Philadelphia this week to place her on the establishment's Iron Throne. Here's what you'll see them say:
That Donald Trump is evil and has orange hair and hates women. That President Barack Obama loves Hillary and respects her, really.
That cops, not lousy public schools run for generations by Democrats and skyrocketing black unemployment, are the problem in big cities.
And, that in a dangerous world, Clinton offers experience, while Trump is likely to blow it up.
She's got the big money from Wall Street and George Soros and Hollywood. Republican establishment elites bend their knees before her. She'll play the race card and the gender card, the insensitivity card, the cop card and all the identity politics she can muster to bind voters to her side.
But will Mrs. Clinton and the Democratic National Convention dare address the one issue that truly threatens her candidacy?
That she's widely considered to have broken the law and has been publicly branded as a liar.
He brings up some pretty damning facts in the article and asks some questions the DNC really should be asking itself.
Now if only more people were actually asking hard questions.

These days, I find Democratic partisans as odd as Republican partisans. Both seemingly from elsewhere in the universe.

First, you are a horrible campaigner. The more people hear you, the more they dislike you. I am told that Kaine is really a boring campaigner--he said so about himself. Wonderful. Throwing away the faux-left turn, you have jumped right back into the loving arms of the Wall Street Banksters who have backed you from before day 1 of your official campaign.
Donald Trump has cleverly co-opted Bernie's wonderful message of "not me, us", morphing it into "I'm with You" a very potent phrase that will be sharply contrasted with Hillary's self-aggrandizing "I'm with Her". Whether Trump really is part populist or not (probably not), this turn of phrase will help send Hillary down into the flames she most definitely deserves.
