I was surprised by some unexpected news from Oregon. Here is the headline from an article in Politicus USA: "21 Youth Win Historic Climate Ruling Against Fossil Fuel and the Government".

The headline really tells the story. Twenty-one young people brought a suit on Constitutional grounds to force the government to deal realistically with climate change. I find it rather ironic that they brought the suit based on "the public trust doctrine" which is what the Bundy's and the corporatists enjoy trashing.

If you are upset about climate change denial and the suicidal pace of change that our politicians are inflicting on us, this news should cheer you. It could be a game-changer if it goes all the way to the Supreme Court. Let's hope so.
