Finland is destroying itself.

Finland
It is heartbreaking for us to watch Finland obliterate so much of what made it so special. It is a place so close to my heart, a home away from home. We have been traveling there since the early 90s, once or twice each year. We brought together social work students from around the world to learn about the social welfare state and to develop cross cultural understandings and problem solving skills. Last time we were there is in 2023 and in Rovaniemi, at the Arctic Circle, we were already seeing evidence of military presence. We have always wanted to bring our grandsons there but no longer.
Oh, what a once great, now sad
