Enjoy!

Wow, haven't heard The Seldom Scene for eons, donkey years

seldom heard seldom scene
That is some seldom heard seldom scene Joe! Great sounds!
On the Beck, Bogert, Appice the song 'Lady' actually got some fair airtime on LA FM radio in the early 70's. Superstition was the main cut of course, but LA radio played Lady a fair bit. I always thought it was a great song, very well written and played.
I probably told this story before, stop me if I did... About March '82 I was on the road selling signs, in Reno, NV, my tie days. Called on this place at the south end of town, a big dance hall seemed a converted barn. Sawdust on the floor, bar on one side, all seemed pretty darn cowboy country. Imagine my surprise to see on the marquis: Tonight Derringer,
Bogert, and Appice. Guess what I bought tix for? It was awesome. They did like 5-6 songs off this BBA album! I was mind-blown. Close, small, intimate, maybe 500 people, it was incredible. Bogert's bass playing was next level, he had 15 minutes by himself on stage. Appice did a drum clinic. And Derringer is a guitarists guitarist. World class great player. It wasn't Beck, but ten years after the fact to see a bunch of it done live was amazing.
Thanks for the soundscape!
