The 25 th amendment to the constitution

Article 4, although vaguely worded, gives congress
authority to enact restraints on an incapable president.
I opine it is their duty to use their position to reign-in
the lawless behavior of the trumpet.
We assume this congress will not exercise their
duties to represent us as required at the 2/3 level of
agreement. Perhaps a strongly worded statement?
Weak tea for a republic headed into full blown fascism.

Are members of congress aware of their duties?

Section 4 addresses the case of a president who cannot discharge the powers and duties of the presidency but also cannot, or does not, execute the voluntary declaration contemplated by Section 3. It allows the vice president, together with a "majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide", to issue a written declaration that the president is unable to discharge his duties. When such a declaration is sent to Congress, the vice president immediately becomes acting president, while (as with Section 3) the president remains in office, temporarily divested of authority.

As an aside (totally off-topic)

the upcoming Iran adventure is fraught with
unexpected consequences. Iranians were able to jam
the major tool of Mossad/CIA/M16 controlled propaganda
that goes by the name of Star link using Chinese and
Russian tech. OOPS. Showing the world how to do it. Now
BRICS member states are learning from this and will apply it
accordingly. Thanks Musk. Sometimes autistic billionaires
can be really dense. Consequences anyone?

One could say...
...the administration is way too overconfident. This is putting it mildly. The downside is something potentially far worse than the Iraq war. In other words, it's not just poor judgement, it's far worse than that. Iran has military technology more advanced than Iraq had, or the current Venezuelan government. Iran has a strategic position on the globe, which puts itself in a position to close the Persian Gulf oil trade all together. That could be contested but beyond that Iran has strategic depth with its missile forces and large size. Any great disadvantages realized by either the US or Israel will result in a great temptation to use nuclear weapons.
I don't think your observation is off topic. I've heard people say that this is a more substantial attack on Chinese trade, oil dependency etc. Any "advantages" thought to be gained strategically or commercially from attacking Iran are illusory, short sighted, and extremely dangerous to the entire world.

on a more domestic front
where the hell is the Minnesota National Guard?
Now that ICE is killing citizens, don't you think the local militia should get involved
to protect their citizens? I have family there that may be affected and it worries me.
Waltz needs to grow a spine and stand-up for the people he was elected to represent.
Screw ICE and their gestapo tactics. This is becoming the start of the new civil war.
Intended or not. States versus the fed.
Zionism is a social disease
I noticed yesterday
...that Larry Johnson was reluctant to use the f word to characterize the US government. He felt it isn't really appropriate because however one characterizes the white house, we have the "other two branches of government." If I recall correctly, and I watched one of his videos twice yesterday to make sure I wasn't misinterpreting his analysis, he said "we still have these institutions," or words to that effect. They need to act, etc. Yes they do.
My problem with this analysis, is that f..ism, is a movement not a government. It begins once the party cadre gains access to power, to set about dismantling the traditional institutions of society and government to render them supine and powerless. This has proceeded with incredible speed but is not yet entirely complete. The media, universities, state and city governments have been attacked, intimidated, even terrorized by the movement. The special extrajudicial police forces of the party nominally government institutions have been released from all restraints for this purpose. The nominal scapegoat the "illegals," provided a dubious justification. The regulatory and enforcement mechanisms of government agencies were systematically dismantled during the DOGE putsch. Now even the sacrosanct Fed is under attack. One could even forecast no matter how crazy it may sound, ultimately bank seizures and a wholesale repudiation of international debts.
My point here is that f..ism, is not a matter of being but a matter of becoming. Larry said for example that the courts could act. Theoretically, they could. Will they be ignored? Will actors within the administration pursue the 25th? Would a supine, corrupt legislature act? Maybe.
I think the ever present "strategy of tension" essential to the movement requires the constant threat of national security crises and outbreaks of war to justify the bizarre and unconstitutional measures taken by the movement.

Very astute interpretation

was my point, after all, in pointing out the lack of courage
from the agency of justice currently exposed by an over
zealous executive branch. If you have the power, use it.
Zionism is a social disease
Spot on.
It hurts the delicate princess ears of the Owners if we actually use the correct term for the complete capture of the government by "business interests"...
Cal it what it is. This is indeed fascism, writ large, and all of the mores and accepted standards are right out the window- along with both the baby and the bathwater.
Meanwhile: nobody has standing to challenge anything in the courts, for what is going on now.

Contrary to the mission of this site?
remember this:
I'm seeing people here succumbing to the manipulation and calling for violence against one another that plays right into the hands of those that want to divide us. It amazes me how well the propaganda and agitprop works.
I knew exactly what you meant by "milk toast", I just wanted you to say it to me directly. I took that as an insult.
People are losing their minds, all designed by the assholes that want us at each others throats.
