"I will be the nominee for my party" - Hillary Clinton

That is already done. There is no way that I won't be.

I read this earlier
and commented about it somewhere. Another nail in the guarantee hrc will NEVER get my vote. She obviously doesn't need it.

Even though $Hillary declared herself the winner in Kentucky...
... she only tied - at best (ditto IA, IIRC, and I'm not sure wtf happened in NV where she barely won, then Bernie won with the additional delegates, and then there was this recent farce under "new rules"). The numbers in KY were too close for any reputable "news" agency to call, at least not without a recount.
The "closed primary" states' totals are skewed - and amount to voter suppression - since the Independent voters were not allowed to vote unless states provided ballots for them, and/or they couldn't vote unless they changed their registration from Indy to Dem. Most of the Indy votes would have most likely gone to Bernie, so closed primary state results are often skewed toward HRC.
[I do wish people in other states had easy registration like we do in MN. We can register any time, even on election day (proof of residency needed, several options listed on SoS web site), and we do not even have a question asking for our political affiliation.]
I believe in an America where the separation of church and state is absolute ..., where no church or church school is granted any public funds or political preference. — President John F. Kennedy, Houston, TX, 12 September 1960
And the "3 million votes ahead" is a crock
because popular vote isn't counted in caucus states (WA, IA, NV, etc.) so we have no way of knowing how many voters supported Bernie and how many supported Hillary.
I think what she is saying
is that California and other states are already rigged for her to win. Hence no more exit polling to help prove otherwise.
Come on, FBI!!

No more exit polling is what I was wondering about.
I went to Edison Research the other day and found their schedule only showing exit polling up through WV. Nothing after that. Wonder if there is some web archives showing their schedule had originally included all the primaries? Seems very odd that they would just arbitrarily stop exit polling before the primaries were over. And since Clinton calling the race already, perhaps nefarious activities afoot. I wouldn't be surprised. The whole thing reeks of sabotage and corruption.

Please do not say bad things about the Queen
Please look at her expression and body language. She is so smug and full of crap- arrogant. She is royalty and likes to tell us what to think.
I do not bow to royalty and do not care for people that are not humble or gracious.
I will not vote for her now or ever.
Nor will I and a lot of other people
I would never vote for HRC and I've been a Democrat all my life. It's Bill's third term and he is not entitled to that.
If I had written that, the last sentence would be:
It's Bill's third term, and he's already done enough damage. "entitled" and "Clinton" in the same sentence gives me icky feelings.
These are the social circles Hil thinks she should be moving in:
Friend of “the Firm”: How the King of Bahrain's close relationship with three generations of British royals has spanned decades and endured strain of Arab Spring
She can barely conceal her disgust that her progress toward the throne is being held up by commoners like us.
If she's going to be the nominee
Why is she still fighting for votes in the upcoming primaries? If the outcomes still matter and she has to expend effort, it necessarily means that it's not over.

Why does Hillary have to announce this on Nightly News
Ask yourself, why does Hillary have to go on TV and make such a proclamation? Somebody told her she is in trouble and this will help fix it. However, it won't fix it and such actions just backfire. The more people see of Her Highness, the less they like it. She and Bill campaigned hard in Kentucky and had an embarrassing win (.4% lead, but there were many voting anomalies there and hopefully they're being investigated.) Hillary also lost Oregon big-time Tuesday night. The Clintons are desperate and they are doing desperate things. IMHO this proclamation just has "loser" all over it.
After GWB was (s)elected, Bush as a “loser” became a running gag
There was a proliferation of comedy and satire like “Shrub” and “That’s My Bush.”
Holding your hand to your forehead with thumb and forefinger in an “L” shape and chanting “Lo-ser! Lo-ser!” became a meme in one of these shows, symbolizing “We all know Bush was actually the loser (of the 2000 election).”
Then 9/11 happened. Suddenly the country was forced to take GWB seriously. Public opinion even swung so far as to rank him, briefly, among the greatest presidents.
Big shots who fear they are coming to be seen as a “loser” may, shall we say, go to great lengths to force folks to take them seriously.
Yep. Like getting not just the Philly police
but all associated DHS forces to teach
Bernie supporters outside the Philly
National Security Event convention -
as well as all TV and net watchers - a
"lesson" no one will forget.
All the more reason for the 99% to hold
a political revolution convention and
Nuit Debout American-style in another
city.
Just hang out from dusk to midnight in a
proper public space to talk, share ideas,
do performance art, even protest.
Aw, heck, New Orleans' Jackson Square
would be perfect for that, because people
already do that there albeit different
groups each doing their thing. And,
while the grassy park itself closes at
dusk, the surrounding square is open
24/7, as is most of the rest of the French
Quarter.
Possibilities . . .

An Interesting Juxtaposition
But I suspect that the "loser" meme was but a minor contributor to the PNAC Coup of 2001.

She and her peeps ...
... are trying to get voters to stop voting for Bernie. This is a tactic they've used from the very beginning.
Must say, it worked very well in Oregon ... and that tie in Kentucky, hmmmm.
They're scared shitless of Bernie winning big in California.
Optics, I believe they call it.
Beat in the USA.
It did not work in Oregon.
They are still counting votes and Bernie is winning 69% of what they are counting. It was a huge turnout. The AP's proclamation that "95.5%" of precincts are counted is completely arbitrary. Oregon doesn't have precincts.
Quick!
Somebody please drag their fingernails across a blackboard! Anything to get that grating, gloating, superior, self-satisfied voice out of my head! Otherwise, I may have resort to an even more extreme measure, such as smashing my thumb with a hammer, just to give myself something else to feel absolutely wretched and miserable about.
Memo to self: Never again click on a link with audio of Hillary speaking without first fortifying myself with at least a beer or two, or six. A head-splitting hangover is a small price to pay compared to the agony of having to listen to her with a clear head.

Wine Worked For Me Tonight
a nice sturdy pinot noir worked for me tonight, but I can't be drinking for four years of an HRC presidency. My health prohibits such a necessity. At least with Drumpf I could laugh without needing to drink myself into oblivion or pound nails into my eardrums.
Now that made me laugh...
The alcohol consumption in this country will sky rocket if she is elected. Seeing as she plans to put us through hell if elected, I recommend that we make her term as unpleasant as possible..daily striking at everything she does or tries to do, including thoroughly understanding any hidden language.

So who's SOTU will you be more drunk for?
In the event that HRC prevails in the primary, and Bernie doesn't go third party...
Which SOTU will you be more drunk for? HRC or DT?
I point out that Donald Trump has the same initials as Delirium Tremens, the horribly confused and sometimes delusional state of alcohol withdrawal (Hence the pink elephants and happy creatures dancing on John Fogerty's lawn) after a really long bender.

Donald Trump
Doesn't drink. HRC = Horribly, Revolting, Candidate...
No kidding?
Did not know that about him. I kinda see that as a plus, truth be told....
Really
Apparently his brother was a heavy drinker and died early.
Drumpf is also against TPP
That's two positive things about him. It's painful writing those words. Of course I would not vote for him any more than I'd vote for $Hillary, but I also can't think of even one positive thing about her..., so there's that.
There's another positive thing someone else wrote, but I can't think of what it was just this second (no sleep tonight, will sleep today).
Bernie or Bust!!!
I believe in an America where the separation of church and state is absolute ..., where no church or church school is granted any public funds or political preference. — President John F. Kennedy, Houston, TX, 12 September 1960
Yeah, that caught my attention early on
that Trump came out against TPP. He seems to have been consistent on that much for a long time now--I remember hearing him opine during the 1992 campaign, that Ross Perot was absolutely right about NAFTA and he agreed with him.
He's vile on a lot of things, but consistency on this is pretty important to me, because the TPP is HUGE for all of us. What remains to be seen is "how much of a puppet will Trump end up being"? If he was never supposed to get this far (like if it was all about making HRC look better and he'd planned on 'throwing' it to her once she got the nod), and if he actually wins in November? Someone is gonna have to put him on a leash.
And I can't imagine anyone doing that to him without a fight.
And by the way, here's a way to think about Team Hillary's rampant, over-the-top desperation--what if it's because Trump is REALLY PISSED? Like what if this was all supposed to be a JOKE, nobody was supposed to take him seriously!! And if she doesn't make sure she wins, he's going to rat her out to the press.
Who knows? It's one of those things that makes ya go HMMMMMMM, any way you slice it...
A Dem congress would put him
A Dem congress would put him in check
I would not watch Hill's SOTU. More gloating, grating, arrogant
self congratulation, and nothing new.
I would drink while watching Trump's SOTU. He'll still be the entertainer. Who knows what he might say.

Exactly. I remember when I couldn't stand to listen to
Bush when he was on tv. Then it was Obama I couldn't stand to listen to because I knew that he was lying to us.
God help us if we have to listen to Hillary for 8 long years.
Her arrogance is disgusting, but she knows that DWS has done everything that she can do make sure that Hillary wins.
The reporter was a douche. He kept trying to get her to denounce the violence that (didn't) happen in Nevada.
There were problems with running a campaign of Joy while committing a genocide? Who could have guessed?
Harris is unburdened of speaking going forward.
The reporter is Chris Cuomo, son of the late Mario and brother
of Andrew. Probably good buddies with the Clintons. That whole Nevada thing was absolutely Rovian. Probably even Hillary thought it had gone on long enough.

...And the high horse you rode in on, Ms. Clinton!
Back when all this started, I thought I might - might - be able to vote for HRC if I could find a big enough clothespin. Not now, not after the dirty, sleazy, skeezy campaign she has run and is running.
If Bernie doesn't get the nom, I'll vote for a woman President - Jill Stein. Put that in your pipe and smoke it, Hillbots!
There is no justice. There can be no peace.
But...
If your state has a write-in option, PLEASE write in Bernie! That's what I will do if he doesn't get the nomination or run 3rd party. If enough of us do that, he couple possibly win by write-in... and that would be amazing. There are already people organizing it.
Apparently, Sanders has to be registered
as a write-in candidate, state by state. If you write him in, and he's not registered for your state, the vote won't count.
Gëzuar!!
from a reasonably stable genius.
That's what I understand about MN when I checked into it
Bernie has to be registered for a write-in if he doesn't get the nomination. If that's the case, I hope Bernie changes his mind after the nastiness of $Hillary and her Hillbots and the Mendacious Moronic Media that has ignored Bernie all along and goes ahead with registering for a write-in vote.
Well, okay then. Have to work harder to make sure Bernie will be our nominee..., otherwise I will have to leave the section for president blank or, just out of pure spite, write in Bernie's name anyway. [I haven't checked into the Green Party's particulars yet, but that remains a viable alternative if I am satisfied with their proposals.] Remember, we have paper ballots here with optical scanners, and one way or another my vote will get counted.
I believe in an America where the separation of church and state is absolute ..., where no church or church school is granted any public funds or political preference. — President John F. Kennedy, Houston, TX, 12 September 1960
VA requires registration for write-in candidates
Jill Stein is already on the ballot for the Green Party (whatshisname the Libertarian candidate is listed too).
Frankly I think "None Of The Above" ought to be automatically registered, every election, every position. We need that option.
There is no justice. There can be no peace.
I agree!
It would make me feel better to fill in an oval next to "None of the above" to soothe my ruffled feathers over only having the lesser of two evils to choose from..., and it would hopefully send a message to the elites to choose better candidates!

Spoiled Ballots
In the UK we count spoiled ballots, not going to elect any candidates but for a democrats sanity it's been my refuge when "none of the above" is my choice.
:(
Damn... I didn't know that. Ugh.
I will write in bernie
if $hillary gets the nomination. I want the DNC to see how many voters couldn't stomach clinton. I don't care if it counts for anything or not. Just a big FU back to the DNC (who said FU to me with this primary).
We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when we are afraid of the light.
--Plato
But what people above are saying is, it won’t even be reported.
The process would just cast write-ins for unregistered candidates aside. Even if precinct workers tote up the numbers of such ballots, no way will cable news be mentioning that count or percentage.
So the DNC wouldn’t get the message. Neither they nor the public would even be made aware that there was any message to get.
To even see those numbers, one has to search in a big list or table of figures in fine print somewhere (the official certified results on a government website). And even then it might just be lumped in with otherwise invalid and spoiled ballots.
I have looked into Green and the platform is pretty good.
I know that writing in Bernie won't get much attention so I think a vote green will at least show up in a count. If it looks close in my state come November I might change my mind and vote strategically to help defeat her. This state is really good at cheating to help Republicans.
Those Hillary comments that she made was just pure arrogance. What went through my mind was "No, you and your husband don't get a third term."
I am sure Sanders will say the right thing at the convention but I am a grown up. My support for him is not a cult. I think he is the best choice. I also think he already knows most of his voters are not going to support her in the general. She has been all over the place with what she says and do. I have whiplash just from her swinging back in forth with her statements. She is as bad as Trump in that matter.
I was at that point once but
I was at that point once but needed cotton balls soaked in fabreeze to shove in my nose --Glad I don't need that option after the last couple weeks--Enough is enough- ill consider writing in
I trust Her Party will the enjoy the results
of her nomination.
Good for them.

I can type anything I want LOL. I have to agree about not clicking the link, I have no desire to listen to that woman. While I may be a 68 year old woman and would love to see a woman president before I leave this earth, I won't vote for that woman. I didn't support her in 2008 and I'm damn sure not going to support her now. It felt wonderful to vote for Bernie in Oregon. I didn't have to hold my nose

I voted for Bernie TODAY!! Yay!!
Early voting began May 10 in NM. Finally got my butt down there. And I got a sticker (cause I was a good girl) that says "HE VOTADO HOY." ("I have voted today") I'm so proud!! They had English stickers also, but the Spanish ones were prettier.

THANK YOU,
For posting this picture. I have been looking for it because I want to send it to my family and friends who are voting for the Clintons.
And that's the truth. If Hillary wins, we get Bill too. The dumb asshole who destroyed the economy and jobs in this and other countries and Hillary has the gaul to say she's going to put him back in charge of it.
Well why the hell not?
Obama appointed the same people to his cabinets that were responsible for crashing the global economy.

Arrogance, Thy Name Be Hillary
She will be Nixon-like with her arrogance, and it will take a while before the consequences catch up with her. My hope is that we limit her damage to four years and not re-elect her like we did Nixon - AND her husband.
Vowing To Oppose Everything Trump Attempts.
I can't imagine it's helping her, Lookout...
Aside from the (mystifying) true believers, there are a lot of Democrats who will vote D but are not part of the Hillary cult. I can't imagine that seeing this kind of arrogance is endearing her to any but those who were already, for whatever reason (black magic?) under her spell.
Unless she knows she already has the entire country's November voting machines hacked and sewn up, of course. In which case, the blatant arrogance is stupid, as she should try being a little more circumspect about stealing our democracy. We Americans prefer our stealing to be done a bit more subtly.

That payoff really pisses me off.
Hillary was willing to give a speech urging her supporters to support Obama if she benefitted personally. Bernie wants to work toward a more democratic system where there is benefit for everyone. Nope, lady. You, and your husband will not get my vote. Note: Will someone please tell Bill Clinton to close his mouth. Every photo of him has his mouth open, with a bit of a blank expression. Anyone else notice that?
