Prominent Democratic Consultants Sign Up to Defeat Single Payer in Colorado
INFLUENTIAL DEMOCRATIC CONSULTANTS, some of whom work for the Super PACs backing Hillary Clinton, have signed up to fight a bold initiative to create a state-based single-payer system in Colorado, according to a state filing posted Monday.
Coloradans for Coloradans, an ad-hoc group opposing single payer in Colorado, revealed that it raised $1 million over the first five months of this year. The group was formed to defeat Amendment 69, the ballot measure before voters this year that would change the Colorado constitution and permit a system that would automatically cover every state resident’s health care.
The anti-single-payer effort is funded almost entirely by health care industry interests, including $500,000 from Anthem Inc., the state’s largest health insurance provider; $40,000 from Cigna, another large health insurer that is current in talks to merge with Anthem; $75,000 from Davita, the dialysis company; $25,000 from Delta Dental, the largest dental insurer in the state; and $100,000 from SCL Health, the faith-based hospital chain.
Under the new system, there would be no health insurance premiums or deductibles, and all health and dental care would be paid for by the state through a new system called ColoradoCare. The plan calls for raising $25 billion through a mix of payroll taxes, along with bringing down costs through negotiations with providers.
The filing reveals that the anti-single-payer group has retained the services of Global Strategy Group, a Democratic consulting firm that has served a variety of congressional candidates and is currently advising Priorities USA Action, one of the Super PACs backing Clinton’s bid for the presidency.

I saw snippets of this on another site and I thought WTF??? so I went and read the entire article. It reinforces one of the biggest problems I have with so many in this so-called party that we loosely refer to as 'Democratic' . How can so many people support her when time after time she, or someone (or some organization associated with her), is caught directly supporting the CONSERVATIVE RIGHT on so many issues while trying to put on this phony LEFTIST 'progressive/liberal' act? But to be honest, this whole damn election season has been just one big WTF from both parties as far as I'm concerned. Democrats supporting payday lenders, only supporting 'incumbents' until called on it, sleazy debate scheduling tactics. The Republican's have been entertaining but they scared the shit out of me at the same time because I looked at them and I screamed to myself "They're running for the Presidency of the United States??" and I didn't know whether to 'shit or go blind' as the old saying goes. And it seems like its been going on forever.
It's just seems so amazing to me that right at this time we should be lucky enough to have a man step forward and say that this country is headed in the wrong direction and that there really is/are men and women behind the curtain pulling our strings, selling us lies, making false promises of representation when they actually mean regulate and rule. That's why the Clinton Third Wayers hate him And that's why I am truly grateful that Bernie Sanders, even though he's either been ignored or, if noticed at all was lied about, has changed the face of American politics for the better hopefully beyond this primary and many years to come. He's called out the problems and outlined the solutions. Now he's won another primary. We need to stay behind him and see what else he's got up his sleeve. For a guy who had no chance at all, he's done remarkably 'well' in my lowly opinion. I do believe he's truly in it to the end.

The corruption runs deep in the Dem party. Some of

Is that information verified?
If so, I would like to add that picture to my tweet list. Thanks!

Yes, Google is a good friend
(who needs to be sent to bed without its dinner for hiding stuff). However, I am a bit short on time and was just hoping for verification.

538 had Trump at a -10% chance of becoming the GOP
nominee. They also had Hillary winning Indiana by 7%. I'm liking Bernie's odds going forward. But if the nomination is denied him, I think Bernie or bust, for the good of the country, must be implemented. Trump being nominated has already destroyed the GOP. Him being elected president will destroy the DNC and put oligarchs like $Hillary out to pasture once and for all. Trump won't last 6 months as president and he'll be impeached and kicked out of office.

$!@!!&*#!@!!
ColoradoCare is the way to go, and most Coloradoans know it. The heyday of the health insurance industry is passing, whether Anthem, et al., want to face the fact or not.
If ways appear that progressives outside of Colorado can help ColoradoCare become law, and vanguard the rest of the Nation with respect to single-payer healthcare, I'll post Essays with that information.

The Democratic Party no
The Democratic Party no longer deserves our votes or support, they have abandoned us for the corporatocracy that they helped build.
So long, and thanks for all the fish
