Benghazi--again (subtitled: Hillary's perfidy)

"Consider the source" has been a rebuttal of disdain for opinions arising from partisan sources. But "consider the facts" is something else. See this link. Judicial watch is a well-known conservative organization--true. But if were not for their freedom of information act (FOIA) law suits, plural, much of what we know about Hillary Clinton's emails would still be unknown today. The linked reference about State Department's retention of Benghazi-related Hillary emails contains facts, not opinions. Some may infer from this post that this is a smear against Hillary Clinton--facts are not smears. Bernie's campaign has repeatedly avoided negativity (i.e., ad hominem arguments) in favor of fact-based statements concerning his opponent (drat those fact-checkers!) Benghazi emails

My opinions of the related facts are that they provide evidence of collusion between the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Obama State Department to suppress facts of Clinton's culpability in the fairy tale she used to deflect guilt away from herself about the true nature of the Benghazi attack and its perpetrators.

Clinton denied repeated requests from Ambassador Stevens and his staff for more security prior to the events leading to his assassination (also revealed in previously withheld Clinton emails) and the fact that instead of taking action while the Libyan Embassy was still under siege, she went to sleep.

heard it ain't hard to.
Considering the purpose of the FOIA, saying 'Trust me, I only deleted unimportant stuff' is a laughable.

Nothing in your link supports your claim that "Clinton denied repeated requests from Ambassador Stevens and his staff for more security"

The Benghazi Committee is promising some kind of October surprise that will take down Hillary. OK, they didn't say October, but that is the time that it would most hurt Democrats, so I am going with October.

This is committee is the gang that couldn't shoot straight so I don't have much hope that they have anything on Hillary.

If they do have something, it probably has nothing to do with Benghazi.

but i remember a house hearing from c-span, at least 4-6 months prior to the Benghazi incident. State had put in a request for a larger security budget, but it wasn't Hillary doing the asking directly. And there were other such requests at the time that were also shot down ("sequester" excuse).

During her Benghazi testimony, i kept screaming at the screen "Ask THEM why THEY didn't fund extra security when a bureaucrat asked THEM for it?" Guess she didn't hear me.

Libya was falling apart and the ambassador should not have been put in that situation. The compound was attacked by over a hundred men armed with military weapons. I don't know if a few more security guards could have made a difference.

The ambassador locked himself into the safe room which apparently was in some kind of garage or storage room full of diesel fuel. The attackers entered through an outer door that may have been unlocked. They poured out the fuel and set it on fire. A safe room isn't going to protect you from a massive diesel fire.

I read that the ambassador was in Benghazi to promote an arms deal to Syrian rebels.

Libya had too many arms left over from the reign of Gaddifi. Syrian rebels didn't have enough arms. It seems plausible to me that the ambassador was there to facilitate an arms transfer through Turkey to the rebels.

I wonder how many of those arms ended up in the hands of ISIS?
