Erica Libenow, a Sanders supporter and member of one of the pro-Bernie groups, said, “We had what looked like a kiddie porn posted in one of our groups today. I reported that one. Seriously made me want to vomit.”

Some members of the Facebook groups reported that trolls had infiltrated the groups and were posting pornographic photos, some possibly even with pedophilia. Facebook user Dorian Gray posted to a different Facebook group, concerned that he had been banned for telling the administrators about the posts. But it turns out, it was the groups themselves that were banned. He said that he only saw two groups that had the pornographic posts before they were taken down: Bernie Sanders Is My Hero and Bernie or Bust 2016. Admins of the group removed the troll posters and all the pornographic-related posts.
And then they bragged about it on Facebook! Here's a screenshot of Casey Champagne that shows he was successful in removing a Bernie site for reporting "a credible threat of violence" to Facebook:

Champagne, and possibly other Clinton supporters, essentially mass-reported content in these pro-Sanders Facebook groups claiming the content was graphically violent, pornographic, or abusive — including the reprehensible content posted by Clinton supporters themselves. Facebook’s automated systems take note of how many individuals report a particular post, and if the post is reported enough, it will be taken down. This same process applies to groups, pages, and individual user accounts.
Casey Champagne did not immediately respond to interview requests from US Uncut.

We may be nice people, but there are loose cannons in any group of people. Have there been any credible reports going the other way? If there are, it feeds her persecution complex and that of her surrogates. I don't know of any, but that doesn't mean it hasn't happened.
This is not an attempt at false equivalence - Bernie is not paying people to do this stuff - but as Bob Dylan said "If you live outside the law, you must be honest." Sadly, we may have to be more careful and watch for this stuff ourselves.

Child porn is a real popular cudgel against "undesirables" and others that our DOJ chooses to prosecute on really flimsy charges.
So, I am not too surprised to see child porn used against these Bernie groups on FB. Plus, I half-suspect that these groups are not coming back due to child porn posted; nothing to do with politics, a lot to do with corporate public relations.

I would suggest that FB does have/know IP addresses associated with accounts and, from there, can track those who posted that kind of porn.
