A quick skim of the Guardian discloses that the gropingfuhrer has articulated something about desiring to not extend the ceasefire or not desiring to extend the ceasefire of somesuch pronunciamento which I didn't bother to read. This could, of course, be a signal that he intends to violate it bigly and without warning any moment now or perhaps only that he won't, in fact to do, which I suspect is fine with Iran too. So, one wonders, if they go back to the OK corral, what will we do with our captive dead-in-the-water container ship? Is it in range of Iranian hardware and if so, do we abandon it or assign some vessel to play sitting duck and baby-sitter simultaneously?

In response to accusations of armed piracy, the orange iDJiT and most of the press have noted that it was under US (illegal) Sanctions some also noting that said illegal sanctions were for (reputed and unevidenced) "illegal" (by and under whose laws) activity. The facts will almost certainly prove no prior violation of any law promulgated by ane body with jurisdiction of any kind over the vessel and the US sanctions are legally presumed to be illegal, else they would be identified as UN sanctions.

As Scott Ritter noted, at this point it is all posturing. Dotard Don is likely and willing to assert or proclaim anything and none of it even rises to the level of his days as a WWE Barker.

Frost damaged four tomato plants. The tops are still green and quite healthy so I will watch them for a week or so. But I may have to replace them.
Our blackberries have not even leaved out yet. But we are at almost 46 degrees Latitude.
I do have a shortwave radio though. I may have to bust it out and prefind some news channels.
Just in case SHTF.

Spring has sprung in the SE, but it is blackberry winter...(a spring cold spell when the blackberries bloom).

We've had the rose-breasted grosbeak here on the feeders....one of my faves. The whippoorwills are calling in the early morning, and the woods thrush have begun singing (another of my faves).

Hope your spring is unfolding nicely too.
