Friday Night Photos Garden Edition
Happy Friday everyone. Welcome to Friday Night Photos your once a week escape from the day to day insanity of the world we live in. Post any photos, memes, music or whatever else you find of interest that helps tune out the madness.
The week started with a little rain on Sunday and Monday. The rest of the week has been a mix of a couple of sunny days and a couple of mostly cloudy days with temps in the 70s all week. The price of gas has held steady at $5.59 a gal. for the last 2 weeks. Hopefully the conflict in the Middle East will be resolved soon (not holding my breath) and prices will drop.
Found out on Tuesday the Photo Arts building in Balboa park where our camera club meets will be closed indefinitely for the removal of asbestos and mold that was found in the building. If the past is any indicator it could be anywhere from months to years before the city gets the work done. In the mean time all the camera clubs that use the building have to find somewhere else to hold their meetings or do the Zoom thing. Uck! I hate Zoom.
Last week after I finished looking for bugs in the Balboa park rose garden I spent an hour in the Japanese Friendship Garden. The garden is beautiful and well maintained and a great place to sit and relax and contemplate your navel or anything else you choose to contemplate.

The only Jap garden pics I have are from Powerscourt Gardens in Ireland

Great, meditative photos. The Brits have a few beauties, too. I'm lucky if I don't kill a poor plant dead just by looking at it. LOL. Not much going on down here in ECFL 'cept drought. Just like the NASA/Climate scientists have warned about for decades. 
Storm season is just around the corner so who knows?? Glad to hear your weather in San Diego is stable for now. The only thing I pay attention to on the Nighty Newsfotainment is the national weather. So, you take care and stay safe, ya hear?! Rec'd!!

I recently read that the climate is heading into a super El Niño which usually means more rain on the west coast and fewer hurricanes in the Atlantic and the Gulf of Mexico. We need the rain and you don't want the hurricanes. Sounds like a win/win to me.
