Was always fascinated
with the Steampunk contraptions on the old WW West show. Just recently re-watched the re-make with Will Smith that had the giant spider craft.
And have been a fan of Jules Verne lore for a long time.

created a life long fascination of lava tubes and Antarctica. Explored a significant number of lava tubes in Central Oregon and keep an eye on Antarctica news. Ironically the time frame of Eisenhower's Military-Industry Complex Warning on Jan 17, 1961 and current legal status of Antartica are fairly close. Maybe we are seeing prepositioning of Great Powers before changes to the treaty can occur.

very interesting vids that always wore welders
goggles on her forehead. Guess it was a fashion
statement of sorts? Unfortunately, she "fell" off of
a cliff (and died) while on a solo hike in the mountains.

I will be conducting a foreclosure sale in 7 weeks. There is much to hate about the process, as it reveals some of the worst human tendencies.
Yes, folks lose their job and can't pay the mortgage. That is tragic. On the other hand, they discover the process can take months, then more months to evict them after the foreclosure, and in 40 years, I have had exactly one person move voluntarily. After a few months, the unemployed person living rent free is not a sympathetic person.
On the ownership side, they start out regretting the failed purchase, trying to make some payment plan, then after months, they are calling constantly wanting to know when the defaulting party will be forced out, and the exact day it will be legal for them to turn the power off, and shut off the water meter, kids and pets be damned!
I think this will be my last foreclosure. I just can't bear seeing seemingly decent people turn into cruel monsters.
