The wingnut news and web platforms are all atwitter about the conservative pundit who got offed yesterday by rifle fire. I'd never heard of the dude and my philosophy is staunchly anti-murder.
Since this guy was kinda famous, the news is all about the ideology of the at-large murderer. > My wingnut pen pals at Headline USA put this in their headline:

The text supporting this was at the bottom of the article:
“The spent cartridge was still chambered in addition to three unspent rounds at the top fed magazine. All cartridges have engraved wording on them, expressing transgender and anti-fascist ideology.”
Observers were quick to jump to the conclusion that the shooter was transgender and/or Antifa. However, a sophisticated operator would, of course, put those markings on the ammo to confuse investigators and the public.

So here we are at The Restaurant at the End of the Universe, entertained by comedians mocking us for our gullibility with a freak show featuring heroes and villains killing each other over the question of gender fluidity.

The name was familiar but if asked I couldn't have said
if he was of the left or right and if he is a politicians, journo, or what.
I have heard lefties who interacted with him say good things as far as being polite and considerate. He also believed in interacting with people especially those with whom he might disagree, at universities. He thought open debate and discussion was how you change things in a democracy. Free speech and all.

Charlie Kirk was new to me when he took an assassins bullet. From the videos of some of his debates with college students I saw nothing but respectful exchanges, even when POV’s were quite different. To believe such behavior warrants an execution, and there is no shortage of examples online of those who do, calls for a serious recalibration of those haters so called ‘values’.

The salient point for me, as inelegantly stated as it was, wasn't as much about Charlie's POV and whatever way his followers happen to think about things, but rather a discovery or better appreciation of how vast the industry is who's business is stirring up controversy and making sure the political divisions stay irreconcilable. I shudder at the thought of how unwieldy a double ended harpoon must be.

considering the dancing men from Israel cheering the Twin Towers collapse on 9/11, the still unsolved (from my perspective) Kennedy killings and the number of Israel ‘minders’ deployed on Capital Hill so most of our elected Congressional and Senate representatives know which way they would like them to vote.
