Hi Janis
Thank you for all the vids! All very good. This last one is particularly spectacular. I can't believe her voice and his bass playing. Pure awesomeness.
Thanks!
Hope you had a good one!

The quirkiest,
and yet both the most truthful, and the most accessible (to any east coaster/rocker/superannuated punk, anyway), might be this immortal ditty:
Twice bitten, permanently shy.
The season is upon us...
Yeah that is a great amongst greats... The video for it is hilarious too (see third vid down above).
Great minds think in parallel... or get stuck in the same rut
happy holidays!

I totally missed
that you'd already posted it. But it really is one of my favorite seasonal songs...
I always breathe a huge sigh of relief once all the packages are opened and the whole Christmas thing is done. Christmas got utterly destroyed for me in my college and immediate post-college years: having to buy very expensive plane tickets to get home for the duty dance, when I barely had money to keep a roof over my head and food in my belly, really made me resent the whole thing. I've never gotten over that. My parents have been gone for many years, so my wife and I have very low key Christmases- but I still approach the whole season with a sense of dread. Now that it is done, I can relax and enjoy New Years.
Happy New Year, everybody...
