Album of the Week 11-23-24
Afternoon folks!
This week we start off with a bang, it's the 1972 Ann Arbor Blues and Jazz Festival, featuring lots of great classic Chicago blues artists and others. After that, Jimmy Witherspoon mellows thing out followed by a late 70's Dr. John album. Following that it's off to the realm of blues-rock with a live album from Creedence Clearwater Revival, a Blues Image album and another overlooked album from Robin Trower and Jack Bruce. Finishing up we've got an EP from the Kinks.
Enjoy the tunes and have a great weekend!

i've listened to that album for years, looking at the talent that was there and wished i had been able to make it there. glad you got there.
have a great afternoon!
listening to your music
.
brings me back
to the sights, sounds, smells
and attitudes of that time
the food carts, open stages
mixture of cultures and variety
of music was quite an awareness
for this kid fresh off the farm
cool thing the tunes are a connection
to concepts lost - reinvigorating

great Bruce and Trower
Hi Joe,
Love that Jack Bruce and Robin Trower album. Their stuff was very good I thought. It never got the attention or airplay it deserved.
Will get to more as time...
Thanks!
We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.
Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.
