Maybe they should "offshore" the nuclear weapon plant. Like the virus labs.
And make them mini nukes (same price). That don't work. Enshitification.

about the relevance of George Orwell's novel 1984, they might benefit from taking a look at the notion of "war bonds" for the European Union:

One thing to remember, here, that EU officials are basically unelected -- they're the product of the "leadership" of the pseudo-democratic member states, and one can see how pseudo-democratic it was (and is) in the whole drama of SYRIZA crashing and burning in 2015 Greece. (Do keep in mind that both Christoforou and Mercuris are Greeks.) In this regard one wonders if Macron is merely saying the quiet part out loud here:

France Wants To Fight Russia In Ukraine

'Course, Macron is the most secure of EU pseudo-democrats, as his job will only be up for grabs in 2027...

Well, Yeee and Haw! Que da kine 59th Street Bridge Song.

Hey, full faith and credit, right? The uncle buck (do the uncle buck, do the uncle buck) i backed by ye full faith and credit of the mighty USofA, is it not? And that song starts with Faith, and Trust Me, ya gotta have faith. So, whazzit worth? This very morning, in the SF-Oakland Bay Area, it is worth about 8 ox of supermarket huse brank 2% milk, assuming you buy quartz. So, purchasing power. And just how many uncle bux will buy you the world's best selling electric cars? Well, depends on where you buy it. Somewhere around 11K in much of the world, but it is priceless here; ya see, you cannot buy them in this country, so it is worth absolutely zip shit measured in BYD autos 'cause they're Chinese. Uh huh. No goddam Chinee EV gonna cross our borders, you betcha.

So, The Full Faith and Credit of the most amoral, unethical, lying, sleazy, piratical, thieving, treaty breaking, and generally despicable country around is worth exakly whut? Well, seems dependent upon the mood of the US oligarchs and the opinions and attitudes of the ROW. It floats, and ergo, could easily sink.

Hi all, Hey Capt. QMS!

Hope all are well! Blowin' here today too, TX fires way up in panhandle. Where grass fires are fairly regular mostly in spring wind times when getting out of control. Is why houses out there USED TO BE brick, always. North central TX gets them too. In general it is very UN-treed so seems counterintuitive that wildfires are a problem there, but they are. More grass driven though. Prairie fires. Which is good for regen usually.

Here is a threadtune: Greenback Dollar : Hoyt's and The Kingston Trio versions, both are great.

I loved the song before I was 10 and in retrospect think it had a big impact on me. Smile

Have good ones all!

김 대현, Daehyun Kim (also known as 무나씨 moonassi)

Thanks so much QMS for the link to Moonassi. First and foremost I love his artwork. The Buddhist influence is evident. I know there is a lot of info at your link along with his works. It would take a long time to appreciate them all. I like the statements he makes to go along with each artwork.

I was fixated on interpreting his handle, Moonassi because I thought it was somewhat cryptic. I had some help where I saw on one web site that he used @mrnothing. I had already figured the nothing reference was the most likely. I'm guessing the middle middle na is as indicated below 納 accept. 氏 (ssi) is "mister" 선생님。

無納氏

Perhaps as Kim says there is no one interpretation. My daughter had given me a tome on modern Korean art a few months ago for a gift. I had studied art as young person, and was somewhat disappointed to see a major if not overwhelming influence of western modern art on the majority of the South Korean artists. There were some artists that appealed more to me, because of their modern treatment of traditional cultural themes. I'm surprised Moonassi's work wasn't included. I'm also attracted to the black and white medium he uses. Thanks for introducing this wonderful artist!

OTOH, I think there are likely zen exemplars of an utterly different type pointing toward not riding the ox in search of the ox.

I didn't know how it was made either. Somewhat surprised to find out that the artisans who produced this essential material required by the noble/scholar class held a lowly status like butchers.
