Corn bread dressing or dirty rice? Ah, the dilemmas ..
~
Prepping for a small gathering tomorrow. A cooking adventure ultimato. Trying to figure out
if I want to make traditional cajun dirty rice or another southern staple: cornbread dressing.
Suppose could just do both, but that may be a bit much.
Will spatchcock the turkey, so dressings will be on the side. The gals are doing the veggies
and the table is only so big (like the stomachs). I do so love to make a skillet cornbread.
And I may be the only yankee around that craves white rice. So there is that to consider.

I'm cooking a Turkey today to take to the family tomorrow. I make an almond flour dressing that is pretty good and difficult to tell from cornbread dressing.
We finally got a decent rain yesterday, 2.3". Brought down lots of leaves too.

No elaborate cooking for this holiday. We will throw together a meal out of whatever vegetables we do not want to pack up and take home, whatever meat we have that we want to finish up.
Tonight is a concert at Luckenbach. We might tour a museum this afternoon.
Oh, I am dedicating an hour to work. I am at the final stage of an eviction. The occupants have gobs of experience in fighting them. They represent themselves, and expertly so. They have dragged out the process for months, and will likely file one more emergency writ before the constable arrives to move them out. My concern is the real possibility of violence between the parties. Threats have already been made.
30 years ago, evictions and foreclosures were quick and simple. Seems the predator landlords and lenders were scamming immigrants at the border so egregiously, all laws and procedures were changed. I have hesitated to rent, although I have had many opportunities to make some acquisitions of rental properties. When things go wrong, they go horribly wrong very quickly.
One day before I die, I want the truth about JFK's assassination. It might trigger a revolution, but a revolution just might be warranted.
Well, come to Texas and be a renter, and the government will take good care of you. However, if you are a homeless Texan, you are on your own, pal. That's how we rock!

I had to go cook some ground sausage, Chinese fried rice, red and green pepper, and an egg, all leftovers from the last couple of days meals.
Yup, I'm the cleanup crew 'round here.
I can take leftovers from amazingly disparate meals and make whole new inventions.
Sometimes not though.
My suspicions about this government stem directly from the secrecy surrounding that entire JFK affair. When John Kennedy was murdered I instantly became a critical mind regarding America and have remained that way since.
The people that were responsible for his death created me. And millions more just like me.

For weeks the FBI has been warning of possible blowback because of Biden’s support of Israel’s mass murder and people have been wondering when the false flag attacks would happen.
