NATO meeting
Been laid up and not reading much news but it appears that NATO will not officially declare war on Russia. Unofficially a different matter. Some pundits worried that NATO would openly join the fight against the Russians. So now at least, no continental wide war. My suspicion is that the various militaries looked out back and realized they do not have enough basic ammo to sustain anything other than bombing wedding parties.

on boing boing but didn't read any further, I just figured that it sounded reasonable enough to me, they live a pretty healthy and uncontaminated life, so why not.

Summer here has been weird, it's either rain or drought,
