The Bernster has won the primary in this Dickbreath State. Why is that happening?

a closed Democratic caucus.

And he may have won the "popular vote" but just like the EC, that doesn't matter. He and Clinton are tied in delegates, 7-7, or 8-6 at best. Not a convincing "win".

There are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns – the ones we don't know we don't know.

A closed primary or caucus is restrictive to just democrats, so fewer new or independents. Therefore, only democrats vote in it. Guess what the establishment candidate got beat. Remember the agreement Bernie only wins in open contests, so he beat this meme. Continue the MO onto New York!

This means elected delegates will have to show up at the state caucus to finalize the overall delegate allocations.

What does that mean? Well if the elected delegates do not show at the state caucus then the other candidate may get them. Therefore, I anticipate at least 1 or 2 delegate pick up by Sanders here. Why? Because his supporters are dedicated and have a high level of enthusiasm. This explains why Bernie picked up delegates in Nevada.

I am an alernative delegate for Washington state, and I anticipate we will win some more delegates at the next level of caucus.

A lot of wanderers in the U.S. political desert recognize that all the duopoly has to offer is a choice of mirages. Come, let us trudge towards empty expanse of sand #1, littered with the bleached bones of Deaniacs and Hope and Changers.

A truth of the nuclear age/climate change: we can no longer have endless war and survive on this planet. Oh sh*t.

So a delegate tie.

Sanders got the symbolic victory, and that's what counts.
So few delegates based on so few votes in a solid red state. Symbolism is all there is.

the argument, in football, goes like this: The SEC is so superior a conference that they win every game they play outside of the league. If a team should happen to lose it wasn't because the other team was better, it was only because the SEC team "beat itself". So therefore the loss is, in fact, a win. SEC fans using that argument usually reply to "but you lost!" with "do you really think you could beat us again? do you really want to risk that? I don't think you do!" But anyway...

so too with Hillary. She won the south, where she was expected to win, so those are victories. She didn't get shutout in the most recent primaries and caucuses so those, too, are victories. Losing today in Wyoming is a victory because she didn't lose 80-20 or 90-10.

She might win the nomination. If so, I hope the Repub convention gets deadlocked and they end up nominating someone half sane (which would be a fair matchup).

Wyoming win seems a draw as she had 250 delegate lead before WY and now they still have that Bernie wins 55.7 to Hillary at 44.3, and yet they each got 7 of the 14 delegates? someone explain why Bernie did not get 8 or 9 delegates ???? WTF?

So long, and thanks for all the fish

14 delegates so 8 of 14 would be 4/7ths or 57.14%. I can see that he had to reach that number for an 8-6 split and his 56% (or so) was just slightly too low.

Again, I'm not too up on the exact method of allocation. There might be something else involved. But purely on a percentage basis, with so few delegates, he would have gotten more than his share with 8, as he's gotten less than his share with 7.

There was no "Overturning the voters" in Nevada. It's a #Caucus State. Learn more here...
