Serious Question

I left a comment on a diary at KOS about Bernie crossing the line with his disqualification comments. This is the comment:

This is what the Clintonites get for acting so privileged and entitled. Bernie did not rise out of Brooklyn, and spend his whole life fighting for social justice, just to let some millionaire “public servant” Goldwater Girl with elite friends tell him to “get out of the way.” Bernie don’t play that. And now you know that, too. We are suckers no more. Game over, Kos. Enjoy your slide into irrelevance."

I understand this is strident, but what exactly is so offensive or out of line? I am not that experienced at all this, and I couldn't even find an e-mail link to ask this question there. I know most people here probably are not offended by this comment, but can anybody please try to explain to me the KOS logic. If this sort of opinion is out of bounds there, then I am done with anything there, except to cross-post policy diaries that I feel are for a broad audience. What is the point of engaging if you are so easily censored?

Again, can anybody explain why the KOS people would hide this comment? Looking for honest answers, in addition to good ol' fashioned well deserved Kos-bashing.

I'm sorry this gang-censorship happened to you. It happened to me as well --- I was attacked by a Hillary gang and was put in a time out for three days last week. There is a gang of Hillary supporters at kos, and all they do is attack and spew hate. Unfortunately, it is a toxic place. You really have to plan on getting flagged pretty much if you say anything negative about Hillary. I'm going to keep on speaking my mind --- I'll probably get another time out down the road. But I really don't give a fuck.

Honestly, what were you expecting? Why did you post the comment? The "goldwater girl" is a useless meme, she was a teenager in a Republican household.
Think it is SO much better to just STOP POSTING at DKos. Serves no purpose, but to vent personal feelings. Doesn't add anything of value to Bernie Sanders campaign.

I will vote for Bernie Sanders. If he is not the nominee I will write in his name. I will not vote, support, any one else the DNC might nominate.

Enough is enough - please, just let DKos go. It is well past time.

but I occasionally stop by and browse the headlines. I very rarely click on anything, but when I do, I quickly regret scrolling as far down as the comments.

The owner's heavy-handed attempt to blame the Wisconsin judicial loss on Bernie backers may be the most inept thing I've ever witnessed. Sad. Just sad. If he wasn't such a prick I'd be embarrassed for him.

You better believe it. Bullshit is bullshit, wherever it might be. If it's bullshit that's actually getting eyeballs, it's good to push back on it, whether televised, on the radio, or on a blog.

Speaking of bullshit, now that we understand kos has 40 some-odd people working for him in his immediate purview, have we wondered yet how many of those people are active, regular posters trolls on his blog? Now you know why it's a bojo for you to talk about "shills". Mustn't let any of them accidentally let it out of the bag in print--there's no way to delete errant comments...

Thanks guys, it really feels good to be around like minded people. Obviously, we all have to do our best to reach out and hear other views, and engage in debate. But KOS is ridiculous right now. Thank you all for explaining to me what happened. This site is a godsend. As soon as the $$$ situation improves a bit I will be donating for sure.

Love you guys. This is a special time, and I hope no matter what, these kids are in for the long haul. I am for sure.

I remember when we used to talk about how bad Red State was and it was a badge of honor to go over to that site and say something that would get you banned. It was so easy to get banned there, all you had to do was disagree with them. For a while, dKos users would "take one for the team" and go look through the Red State comments and diaries and post what they found on dKos and people would congratulate them for surviving.

Sounds kind of familiar, doesn't it?

Fighting to have a say at DKos, owned and directed by Kos, is an example of this. It is HIS website. He cashed in. He doesn't care what anyone says or thinks. He decreed it would be supporting Clinton, and that was it.
Why keep fighting it?
There is nothing to gain, no one is going to be "right" - except Kos. Whether the site is relevant in the future does nothing to help Bernie Sanders Campaign.
