and was rescued by a 'professional' I can't see the english version of google news. Now I am a hostage of the German version. I hate it.

I have alone 36x6 english books and my sister has at least double of that. What would you do with them? I have to move them. And I hate that too.

with regards to what my fellow aquaintances think here. So, I don't have any. I have only the neighbors of my sisters house. They are all over 75 years old. We never talk about anything earthshaking other than trees and branches which might threaten their gardens.

I guess I am not the only one who only talks online - a bit. We are all lonely losers. So, what elxe is there?

I'd like to hear about your personal experience and perspective of this threatening time. Do you experience tangible changes, and what does your communication with fellow acquaintances tell you?

I think since the war in Ukraine everything has changed drastically. Folks are afraid they can'tpay for food and other necessities anymore. Prices are gone skyhigh and people wonder how they will make it trough the next months (or may be years).

Ok, if I am welcome over there at your parts of the world, don't get a heart attack, if I some day stay in your front yard. Smile

Doe they like 'foreigners' over there? Just saw a documentary with regards to the elelction in France. Was pretty shocked about the right-wing shift of people's feeling over in France. Whished Dawn's Meta would be still around and chime in. I hope they are ok and doing sufficiently well.

That would be a treat ; ).

It is heartbreaking to imagine the stress these times are putting on people to feed their families and survive.

I throws them all in a trash container for paper. I told him in my better years that I had in mind to read them, but those years are gone. Meanwhile I am on my way to get blind. Ha, there is a solution for everything, right?

Hope you all have a good Sunday-

these days. I shut down almost everything, watch only completely idiotic TV series to keep company with my sister in front of a TV, while she and then me are falling asleep in front of the TV.

I like silence.

I am aware, choices in multiple languages. Large selection of fiction and non-fiction.

Librox - German
Librox - English

When my great aunt was suddenly blinded in both eyes this gift by a cousin became her favorite companion. - A battery operated talking clock. Kept her orientated to time, especially helpful in the middle of the night to check how long until morning, before trying to fall back to sleep.

Take care of yourself.
