with regards to what my fellow aquaintances think here. So, I don't have any. I have only the neighbors of my sisters house. They are all over 75 years old. We never talk about anything earthshaking other than trees and branches which might threaten their gardens.

I think since the war in Ukraine everything has changed drastically. Folks are afraid they can'tpay for food and other necessities anymore. Prices are gone skyhigh and people wonder how they will make it trough the next months (or may be years).
Ok, if I am welcome over there at your parts of the world, don't get a heart attack, if I some day stay in your front yard.
Doe they like 'foreigners' over there? Just saw a documentary with regards to the elelction in France. Was pretty shocked about the right-wing shift of people's feeling over in France. Whished Dawn's Meta would be still around and chime in. I hope they are ok and doing sufficiently well.

It is heartbreaking to imagine the stress these times are putting on people to feed their families and survive.
