You don't. Then let me tell you, they are something C99p needs.

So, let the Piselinten flow generously into JtC's donation page. We all would be profoundly grateful if they help to keep this rescue floating piece of wonder bread above water.

Hey, it's the season of throwing piselinten at obnoxious folks that 'intelligent' people would never throw them at. Peanuts would do the trick as well. Gold nuggets shitting donkeys would be an option, but what would JtC do with all those donkeys? As long as your donkey representatives suffer under identiy confusinon and behave like they are sick with elephantiasis, as our German 'Esels 'do, just use those piselinten embedded on your credit cards. They can be very effective.

I don't like talking about it but the donation bucket has developed some serious holes over the last couple of years. The level is getting pretty low. It's the monthly donations that keep this site afloat. Over the years folks have cancelled their accounts or their credit cards expire and when they renew them then they forget to add their new CC number to their monthly donations, that monthly donation then goes by the wayside. We are down to just a few generous contributors that keep this site going.

I almost never ask for anything because I understand that folks are strapped for cash, but folks, c99 is getting close to insolvency. If you can please open a monthly donation account, even 5 or 10 dollars a month will help.

Thank you for everything you all do for this site.

Here's how it is....

A Russian scientist and a Czechoslovakian scientist had spent their lives studying the grizzly bear.

Each year they petitioned their respective governments to allow them to go to Yellowstone to study the bears. Finally their request was granted, and they immediately flew to Yellowstone.

They reported to the ranger station and were told that it was the grizzly mating season and it was too dangerous to go out and study the animals.

They pleaded that this was their only chance, and finally the ranger relented.

The Russian and the Czech were given portable phones and told to report in every day. For several days they called in, and then nothing was heard from the two scientists.

The rangers mounted a search party and found the camp completely ravaged, with no sign of the missing men. Following the trails of a male and a female bear, they finally caught up with the female. Fearing an international incident, they decided they must kill the animal to find out if she had eaten the scientist. They killed the female and opened the stomach to find the remains of the Russian.

One ranger turned to the other and said, " You know what this means, don't you?" The other ranger responded..

"I guess it means the Czech's in the male."

@JtC I didn't realize that about the monthly donations. I try to donate twice a year, but I will switch that to monthly. Maybe others who donate once or twice a year will do the same. Thank you for everything you do, I very much depend upon this site!

@mimi I turn on my pc, log in, then go to work. I got you fooled! I only appear to be observing you! I could be conducting a jury trial.
Two reasons I have been able to see the world: I have a business that occasionally nets a pretty good profit. Some years are better than others, and I always plan on having a low-profit producing year.
Next, I did not have children, so I didn't have to support or raise anyone. I did take in a client's daughter for a summer. That client had gotten into terrible trouble with the IRS and simply could not feed his daughter. Well, I taught her to drive. I taught her some office skills by having her work a bit in my law office. She is in her thirties, calls me on my birthdays, just sent me a Christmas card. While she was in the Army, she was in the Honor Guard, oversaw international protocols for all foreign dignitaries who visited the White House. I was apparently not a bad influence!
Since I am self-employed, I sort of go when I damn well please. All judges and all local attorneys are always happy when I am gone.
TLOML can't wait until we head out for our adventure!

@mimi I just came from a family tradition of sharing with the less fortunate. My parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles, lived through the Depression. All of them were near starvation at some point. All of them lived, sometimes attaining an upper middle class status. ALL OF THEM said it is IMPERATIVE to help others. I do not know how to live any other way. I support websites, individuals on websites who are desperate, and so does TLOML.
