Scientists discover a new covid variant that evades both the mRNA and DNA vaccines, could potentially lead to vicious vaccine cycle: Endless ‘variants,’ endless ‘boosters’

What are the odds of Covid 19 mutating without end, becoming endemic, and requiring new vaccines with no end sight? After ten months of mass vaccination against SARS-CoV-2 and nearly 7 billion doses administered worldwide, the unprecedented campaign to get everyone vaccinated has not eradicated the deadly virus.
...
According to research published in Nature, this “heavily mutated” variant (called A.30) exists in the wild and has been found in patients on at least two continents. The variant overcomes both the mRNA and DNA/AAV vaccines, the researchers say. They found that the spike protein of SARS-CoV-2 variant A.30 is heavily mutated and evades vaccine-induced antibodies with high efficiency.

Just like chasing a moving target, new vaccines or booster shots are now required to protect people every time a new variant of the virus is discovered. According to the CDC, taking the recommended COVID-19 vaccine doses may no longer be enough to be considered “fully vaccinated” in the future.
...
In April, a study conducted by Israeli scientists found that a South African B.1.351 variant of the coronavirus may evade the protection provided by Pfizer/BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine. The study showed that the South African coronavirus variant (B.1.351) is better at “breaking through” the defenses of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine than other forms of the virus.
...
In conclusion, the scientists said that the new A.30 variant exhibits a cell line preference not observed for other viral variants and efficiently evades neutralization by antibodies elicited by ChAdOx1 nCoV-19 or BNT162b2 vaccination.

Meanwhile, according to Johns Hopkins University, “being fully vaccinated for COVID-19 can protect you from the delta variant, but breakthrough infections sometimes occur.” So the vaccines will not always protect people against the new variants.

@CB
about the potential variants arising. She also said this in another recent article...

"I’m encouraged by numbers coming down right now (in the US), but I have learned that we need to be humble and that the virus tends to find places that are under-vaccinated,” she said. “So as our case numbers come down, we need to continue to do the hard work of getting more and more people vaccinated to prevent exactly what you described.”

And from this article....https://www.dw.com/en/fact-check-did-covid-vaccines-cause-the-delta-vari...

What does 'immune escape' mean?
If the virus mutates in such a way that antibodies that were effective against the original virus in vaccinated or convalescent people, for example, are not as potent in fighting a new variant, a so-called immune escape has been created. This allows people to become infected and ill despite vaccination or surviving COVID-19.

Is the delta variant such an immune escape?
The delta variant stands out due to its higher transferability as well as a kind of immune escape. "The mutation reduces the effect of some antibodies and thus also recognition by the immune system," said immunologist Georg Behrens, professor at the Hannover Medical School at the Clinic for Rheumatology and Immunology, in an interview with DW.

"But it is not yet a real immune escape; that would make itself much more noticeable," infection researcher Peggy Riese explained.

This means that the immune escape is not strong enough to make the approved vaccines become useless. Indeed, the first study results show that although the delta variant is in principle more resistant to the currently used vaccines, a complete vaccination continues to still provide strong protection against it.

Nevertheless, vaccine manufacturers such as BioNTech-Pfizer are already developing new versions of the vaccine that are said to be more effective against the delta variant."

Can vaccination promote mutations at all?
Theoretically, however, there is the possibility that vaccinations exert an immunological pressure on the virus, says Georg Behrens. "Then it tries to escape this pressure through such a mutation," he said.

That is because the virus is currently encountering populations that are only partially vaccinated. As a result, some people have an immune response, while others still offer the possibility of becoming infected. "That's what the virus loves," said Behrens. "And this can lead to other mutations. This is how the virus trains itself, basically."

In summary: In very rare cases, vaccinations can cause mutations to arise and theoretically promote their spread, but it is much more likely that dangerous mutations are created where a virus can spread quickly and unhindered.

This article was translated from German."

So basically vaccinations will not keep new variants from arising, but it is rare that variants arise among vaccinated people. This is why Walensky is still encouraging vaccinations.

Understanding the world of viruses is still a challenge because its so complicated and the scene is always changing. Since we have apparently decided as a species to allow overpopulation to continue, we will no doubt face more of this. "Boosters forever" just may be a result of our overpopulation and climate change Right now, however, the vaccines are proving to be immensely helpful. We should concentrate on getting them to those who live in areas of high unvaccinated populations.

How do you think we got the Delta variant in the first place. The current vaccines are not sterilizing vaccines. They allow immune escape. You have got the following completely wrong:

So basically vaccinations will not keep new variants from arising, but it is rare that variants arise among vaccinated people. This is why Walensky is still encouraging vaccinations.

Fuck clueless Walensky. It's been very obvious she doesn't really know what she is talking about.

your post at Geert Vanden Bosch’s website. His understanding is that without a substantial UNvaccinated population we will never reach ‘herd immunity’ but will instead have to endure an endless number of ‘escape mutants’ and the requisite boosters or updated vaccine variations. The reasons for his conclusions are meticulously explained in great detail, if you have any interest in exploring alternate viewpoints.

What, precisely, are vaccines going to do for, say, Nigeria?

Population 210 million or so, vaccination rate is 4% or less, they have recorded
under 3,000 deaths total since Feb. 2020. Just about equalling two days daily death
toll in the US at present.

Or for India?

India recorded a lot of Covid deaths, over 4 million, but fewer than 25,000 in its largest-population state (230 million) Uttar Pradesh, where extensive use was made of Ivermectin, both as therapeutic and prophylactic. Overall vax rate in India around 15%. At present Covid in Uttar Pradesh is bumping along at almost zero.

In what way are any of the current crop of 'vaccines' going to be "immensely helpful" to these countries - who appear to be faring much better than the US at present - for the most part *without employing them*?

@Blue Republic on Covid deaths in India: its 456k. US is 741k. Worldwide deaths from Covid are just under 5m. https://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=india+covid+deaths&...

Agree on the rest. No need to continue vaccination program, which was a joke already as it was rushed out based on a pre-Delta variant and to only a segment of the world, namely those countries entering into lucrative agreements w the vax makers. Some states in India and African countries are showing the way, that it's via prophylactic/treatment drugs like IVM that the world can keep the virus in check. The US, many Euro, AUS and NZ have wildly overreacted in their lockdowns and vaccine mandates and overall narrow and ill-informed approach, and the pols leading that charge will have a political price to pay soon.

The writing is on the wall and most are sleepwalking into a trap that will fundamentally change our world as we once knew it. We are now entering "The Great Reset".

The WEF and the Pandemic

How is the Davos World Economic Forum involved in the coronavirus pandemic?

The Davos World Economic Forum (WEF) is a premier forum for governments, global corporations and international entrepreneurs. Founded in 1971 by engineer and economist Klaus Schwab, the WEF describes its mission as “shaping global, regional and industry agendas” and “improving the state of the world”. According to its website, “moral and intellectual integrity is at the heart of everything it does.”

The WEF has been involved in the coronavirus pandemic in several ways.

First, the WEF was, together with the Gates Foundation, a sponsor of the prescient “Event 201” coronavirus pandemic simulation exercise, held in New York City on October 18, 2019...

Second, the WEF has been a leading proponent of digital biometric identity systems, arguing that they will make societies and industries more efficient, more productive and more secure...

Third, WEF founder Klaus Schwab is the author of the book COVID-19: The Great Reset, published in July 2020, which argues that the coronavirus pandemic can and should be used for an “economic, societal, geopolitical, environmental and technological reset”,...

Finally, the WEF has been running, since 1993, a program called “Global Leaders for Tomorrow”, rebranded, in 2004, as “Young Global Leaders”. This program aims at identifying, selecting and promoting future global leaders in both business and politics...
...
In conclusion, the Davos World Economic Forum has indeed been involved in the strategic management of the coronavirus pandemic, with a major emphasis on using the pandemic as a catalyst for digital transformation and the global introduction of digital identity systems.

I dunno. If the 1st 2 weren’t even to keep you from getting sick then why would the 3rd, 4th or 5th be the ones that do? Some got the boosters just a month ago, but it still wasn’t enough to give them protection? And yet they want them to be mandatory? Watching the Jimmy video lookout posted gave me a good explanation for why the good Germans became the bad Germans.

Injured and required to get a 2nd shot anyway

What Kirsch said to the FDA

One guy at the FDA said that he was getting 1 email a minute from people who were injured by the vaccines so it’s not like they don’t know how many people are. But still no one is addressing it. The moderna CEO said that yes it’s looking like people will need to get bi yearly shots.

@snoopydawg

Had occasion to get blood test, x-ray, EKG, and heart CT scan over the last month. All came back fine, but the doctors asked what medications I was on and the only one was Ivermectin, which I've been doing prophylactically for about 3 months now. (Issue was some transient chest pains - which had begun before going on the IVM).

First doc I saw hadn't heard of it and wondered what I was taking it for. I explained and he was initially skeptical, but did some quick checking and seemed a bit interested and didn't see it as an issue.

Referred me to a cardiologist, who made no mention of it. I asked him if he had seen any post-vax heart issues and he had had one case. When I went for the CT scan I had a couple of nurse handlers and they, seeing IVM on my chart, asked me what it was. So, I explained as best I could.

Which is by way of saying that while there are people who know about IVM, and some doctors who prescribe or recommend it, there are a whole lot of people who *don't*. I was pretty surprised to encounter medical people who were unaware of it. I think its use is allowed, though not officially recommended, as a therapeutic, but not for prevention.

Pfizer is the main vax here, adverse events are in all likelihood seriously undercounted, but there are still over a thousand post-vax deaths in their equivalent of VAERS. Moderna vax killed a couple young men when it was first introduced here, the other day a 12 year old girl died after getting (I think) the Pfizer vax but doctors were trying to call it coincidental...

National elections here in a few days for the lower house of parliament, and the ruling Liberal Democratic Party are likely to win yet again and they are generally in favor of some form of vaccine passport (but not uniformly so). Main opposition social democratic party Constitutional Democratic Party has won a number of recent by-elections (including one for an Upper House seat in my prefecture the other day) and are likely to make significant gains. They are less supportive of vax passports, many of their office holders and constituents are opposed.

Their prospects will be helped - maybe very significantly - by the Japan Communist Party which, contrary to its longstanding practice of fielding candidates in every possible race, is now cooperating with the CDP and not running candidates in key races and urging their supporters to support the social democrat candidates in those contests. Remains to be seen how that will work out, but it has the potential to flip a number of LDP-held seats, including the district I live in.

Saw in interesting poll just today about support or opposition to vaccine passports by political party affiliation. Highest support was from Isshin - a kind of splinter opposition party mostly based around Osaka, the ruling LDP and their junior coalition partner Komeito (affiliated with Soka Gakkai Buddhist sect). About half of the main opposition CDP were opposed as were 95% of the JCP.

Not sure whether that clarifies things or confuses them further...

It will start with the SMART Health Card. BTW, this system was being designed back in 2019. That should tell you something about the COVID-19 plandemic if you haven't clued into it by this time.

EVERYTHING that Trump and the Democrats did at the beginning of the COVID-19 epidemic was to ensure the US got widely infected with a high death rate in order to create and instill fear in the populace. Due to the American Constitution TPTB knew the US would be a tough nut to crack. But they managed it. There's no going back now and over 50% of the citizens are absolutely clueless what has been done to them. They will welcome these passports to gloat and show superiority.

My current quandary is how to find a primary care physician who is not handcuffed by prescribing only within CDC/NIH dicta guidelines. My general health is excellent, for my age, with the exception of a recent spike in BP (Vaccine Adverse Effect?). Regardless of causation, it is not a problem to be ignored so I will likely need a prescription to bring it down, but I will definitely NOT be willing to accept any more mRNA COVID product into my body.

This decision will have me waiting some time (forever?) for some other multi valiant vaccine with a better safety profile, all while this endless procession of mutant escape variants keep the pandemic rolling. I will be looking exclusively to prophylactic treatments until then. The problem is, my health care provider group, being dependent on Federal largesse, will ONLY prescribe CDC approved medications. No exceptions!

Should I :
1. Take the Mennonite Healthcare path?
2. Move to a red state where Ivermectin and other off label drugs are more readily available?
3. Use my captured cookie cutter ‘provider’ for lab work and BP prescription, ignore their CDC’s recommendations and lay up a supply of ‘Horse Paste’ for prevention?
4. Take the Blue Pill and then whatever else is being offered?
5. Find a physician not afraid to practice medicine in the patients beat interest? (please elaborate how this might be accomplished)
