Continuing COVID Confusion

brought to you by the Delta variant

Open Thread Image.jpg

Just get vaccinated...that's been the message for months. But now the vaccinated are getting COVID thanks to the Delta variant. So are preventative measures encouraged? Hell no, there's no profit in them...TPTB want us to get another ($30) jab. (And notice the $3 non profit Oxford AZ jab still hasn't been approved?) It is another ride on the misinformation merry-go-round, and more people will die and suffer long term effects. We are expendable.

Prevention and treatments simply haven't been part of the US strategy. Everything has gone into the mass vaccination basket. For those who can't understand people that refuse to be vaccinated, it is because you've not heard the downsides of vaccination for many people.
Dr. Peter McCullough Interview - COVID Vaccine Agenda & The Rush To Suppress Alternative Treatments (1.1 hour)

Dr. Peter McCullough, here to discuss the COVID-19 vaccine push and how this agenda has overshadowed, whether by ignorance or dishonesty, the viable and efficacious alternative treatments that many experts have been trying to call attention to since the beginning of the COVID crisis.

Some women are experiencing negative vaccine side effects...

Amid rising reports of vaccine-related menstrual disruptions, the CDC and FDA are dismissing women’s concerns and denying them information while corporate media pathologizes them in sexist fashion. This August 11, the US Center for Disease Control (CDC) overhauled its COVID-19 vaccine guidance for pregnant women, now “urging” them to accept their shots.

People who have experienced adverse effects are being censored.

The COVID-19 experimental shots cause serious side effects, including death.
This fact is not in dispute.

I wish they had added the word can...can cause side effects. I'm double vaccinated and I had no adverse effects, but many people do. This pattern of divide and conquer now silos people into vaccinated and unvaccinated camps... and we never discuss the situation honestly because there's profit to be had.

Eric Topol, MD discusses the COVID Delta Variant: Booster Shots, Nasal Vaccine, Rapid Testing, and more... (16 min)

Nasal vaccines make sense putting immune response where infection begins. None the less he was weak on discussing treatments.

So now schools start back and kids are becoming symptomatic.
https://www.commondreams.org/news/2021/08/14/child-hospitalization-covid...

Aug. 19, 2021 -- Weekly cases of COVID-19 in children topped 100,000 for the first time since early February, according to the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Children’s Hospital Association. A 29% increase in reported cases over the previous week brought the count for Aug. 6-12 to over 121,000, making it the worst week for new infections in children since Jan. 29 to Feb. 4, the AAP and CHA said in their weekly COVD-19 report. The recent surge in child COVID has also brought a record high in hospitalizations and shortages of pediatric ICU beds in some areas.

Just to keep things in perspective

cause of US deaths.png

There have been about 630,000 deaths in the US attributed to COVID. Most of them among those with other health issues.

Through out this pandemic it has been obvious the bulk of the US population is in poor health. Most people hospitalized and those who died had so called comorbidities...primarily obesity, diabetes, and hyper tension (high blood pressure).
https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid_weekly/index.htm?fbclid=IwAR3-w...
https://www.msn.com/en-us/health/medical/cdc-94percent-of-covid-19-death...

A basic message of how to improve our health just hasn't been promoted. In fact yet again it is suppressed primarily by big food and pharma. Here's an excellent two part presentation beginning with Nina Teicholz explaining the struggle to revamp the dietary guidelines and how the game is rigged. In the second portion, Tim Noakes carries on and is joined by Chris Knobbe who explains (at the 1:04 mark) why he thinks new seed oils are causing all our chronic diseses....both heart disease and cancer were rare until 1900 when these highly processed oils became common. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EgwSmyk3RKQ
Boosting our health starts with what we put on our fork (and how often we shovel food into our system).

I can't avoid the elephant in the room if we're discussing treatments...
And at the risk of sounding like a broken record, the most effective prevention medication and treatment will not be mentioned nor allowed!
The Delta variant first appeared in India, yet they have declining cases and deaths...

India_0.png

The New York Times COVID “Mystery” solved! Cases have plunged in India in a few weeks.
The NYT reported on July 30, 2021, that this is a mystery with no clear explanation. But, the drop in cases happened right after a new COVID-19 protocol was released in India. The new guideline includes Ivermectin for early treatment — to treat patients with mild symptoms.

Mexico has experienced similar results...

Mexico_2.png

Despite, or perhaps because of, the efficacy of Ivermectin, those promoting it for COVID treatments are being silenced and censored. I've written several pieces about ivermectin and I only mention it today because of my continued amazement at the power of big pharma to suppress information about this effective treatment.
https://odysee.com/Weekly_Update_SupressionofGoodScience:31119c9584146d3...
The FLCCC has left YouTube and moved to Odysee
Those of you who doubt the efficacy, I'm not trying to convince you...believe the science you choose, but those who are interested talk with your doctor and pharmacist about a prescription. Show them the data from the FLCCC, as well as this site: https://c19ivermectin.com/

John Campbell, being the practical nurse he is, says we must simply accept that treatments WILL NOT be offered as all the eggs have been put in the vaccine basket. The UK does NOT even allow the use of ivermectin and doctors are not allowed to prescribe it.

So if you're vaccinated should you worry about getting the Delta variant?

The researchers estimated that two doses of a Covid-19 vaccine are 49% effective at preventing infection with the delta variant, in line with recent data from Israel and much lower than previous estimates. ...
One in 26. That’s the chance of being infected with the delta variant of Covid-19 if you’re in contact with an infected individual and fully vaccinated, the researchers found. This is compared to a one in 13 chance for the unvaccinated.

Impact of Delta on viral burden and vaccine effectiveness against new SARS-CoV-2 infections in the UK
https://www.ndm.ox.ac.uk/covid-19/covid-19-infection-survey/results/new-...
https://www.ndm.ox.ac.uk/files/coronavirus/covid-19-infection-survey/fin...

Chris also discussed the immunity to Delta with vaccination and natural infection.

The Delta variant is pushing some hospitals to their capacities. Front line doctors are reporting that some patients are crashing in the ICU and are unresponsive to the same treatments that were working a few weeks ago. These doctors are pleading for people and doctors to take this variant seriously and to start early treatment upon first symptom onset.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nVBD_LZIlZ4 (40 min)

None the less Chris thinks the end is in sight...(45 min)

It is normal for pandemics to dissipate into endemics, and that is where we are at this point in the story. It’s time for us to learn how to live with SARS-CoV-2 as a part of our lives and our future. And it’s time for us to understand what the data really tells us about how best to move forward in our lives knowledgeably and gracefully.

John Campbell is also hopeful. 22 min followed by a 10 min report from Mississippi.

So let me close on those hopeful messages. What is the big take away from this Delta variant, and our situation at this point?

  • Maximize your health and immune system. Eat and sleep well. Take Vitamin D, C, zinc, and so on. https://covid19criticalcare.com/covid-19-protocols/i-mask-plus-protocol/
  • After being around others come home and wash your hands, and gargle (do not swallow) with an antiseptic mouthwash with cetylpyridinium chloride (e.g. ScopeTM, ActTM, CrestTM), ListerineTM with essential oils, or povidone/iodine 1 % solution as alternative.
  • If you develop symptoms consider the use of ivermectin.

I'm back to wearing my mask in the grocery and around others primarily to prevent the possibility of my spreading the virus. What could it hurt? Though I don't like the idea of kids having to be masked at school, that is also probably a good idea. The notion that requiring masks for schools will NOT be allowed is pretty stupid. But here we are...caught in COVID confusion yet again.

Take care and be well!

You are giving us all the good information on the covid and how to fight it. I am up to date on all your videos and articles. I find it so hard to believe how many people don't know there is a cure for covid. Just this week, I informed three co-workers about ivermectin. They had no idea! Getting the word out is key. It's my mission, locally.

I've been on the FLCCC protocol for weeks now. I don't take the ivermectin, but I take all the other supplements. I have ivermectin in my cabinet in the event I need it. There are doctors listed on the FLCCC site that you can contact for a prescription. That web site is here: https://covid19criticalcare.com/ivermectin-in-covid-19/how-to-get-iverme...

...that most folks don't know about this effective treatment. Sadly the "gods of science" at the WHO and FDA are really just big pharma mouth pieces, and they've been very effective at suppressing the information about this effective treatment.

When you wonder why, just consider the number of drug ads on commercial broadcasts. They own the megaphone.

in Japan and vaccine numbers are up - but Ivermectin awareness is growing - the other day the head of the Tokyo medical association said publicly that numerous studies have shown it effective both for prevention and treatment and that it should be being employed immediately and on a widespread basis.

A lot of people are importing directly from India, Singapore (hopefully, mine will be arriving soon). It is now on the government's list of things that physicians can use for Covid treatment now although that's not widely known and the media mantra is still fear porn and vaccination near-exclusively...

if you listen to Drs. Chris Martensen and Peter McCollough, they say we need to catch it and develop our own immunities because we CANNOT GET IT AGAIN AFTER HAVING IT ONCE! This is great information and what I've suspected all along, which is why I refuse the vaccine and if I get it, I hope it's a mild case. If it kills me, oh well - it must be my expiration date!

and recovering is a *far* superior outcome than any of the current crop of vaccines
(and 'vaccines') can deliver: longer lasting and broader immunity.

And while everyone was told that they had to get the vax so as not to kill grandma
- infect others - we now see that a significant percentage of the "fully-vaccinated"
are subject to catching the disease and spreading it to others - while those who have
naturally recovered are *not*.

There is zero upside from vaccination to those with natural immunity, only risk. Yet they
are being cajoled and coerced into needless vaccination...

Couple of things to pull from the discussion:
- The Israelis are reporting >50% of patients admitted with Delta are fully injected/regimen fulfilled. It may be more. It seems to go up as the DELTA sweeps through. The CDC is only testing hospitalized and unvaxxed people. They are not getting possibly shedding vaxxed people who perceive a cold or less. They are potentially as infective as anyone else who has COVID.

- During the conversation one doctor from NY said he is testing vaxxed patients and finding even though they are sick they have high Spike Protein numbers. It doesn't square with creating antibodies to the virus. They (the doctors in the video) don't seem to yet know what is actually going on.

We did see one news report today that the UK is going to initiate testing of anti bodies in both vaxxed and COVID recovered to see how long antibodies remain available and what else they can discern about vaxxed versus natural immunity. Hmmmm.

I hope there is more information on this. We have been very quiet about not taking shots. Our daughter and her husband are nurses, ER and critical care. They are going with the unvaxxed are causing this surge. We don't want a fight. We have other family members who have been in adjunct medical fields and they are gung-ho too.

We were supposed to have a nice visit from our daughter and her husband in October, but France is a level 4 bad country to visit. So they are not coming. They are vaxxed but are saying unvaxxed are a problem. We are not sure who they are worried about.

We just state if asked directly, our allergist doesn't want us to take the shots and has talked with our medicin traitant, because of our hyper immune system reactions due to prolonged exposure to mould, toxique exhaust gasses from an unvented gas furnace, and now to unvented septique gasses in our house.

We are remedying all this, in detoxing, anti inflammation, but cannot be sure we wouldn't be causing ourselves extreme harm. We are sticking with the two times a week Ivermectin, Sunday and Thursday. Plus other vitamins and supplements from the FLCCC protocol.

@Dawn's Meta diminishes over time. That's why boosters are the talk of the day.

Sounds to me like y'all have a good preventative strategy. Since the vaccinated are now spreading the virus it is almost guaranteed that future mutations will be more effective at infecting the vaccinated. The Herd immunity through vaccination bus has left the terminal. The virus is endemic.

On a personal note, my thinking is that getting the virus after vaccination offers minimal chance of serious disease, and since natural immunity is superior to vaccination, I'm planning on skipping the booster and seeking a more permanent immunity by recovering from a mild case (if I ever get it).

Sorry about the family issues. Do what makes sense to you and don't feel pressured. Wishing you and yours the best!

@Lookout as many of the smart people we can through C99. We feel pretty good about the steps we are taking. We are stashing Ivermectin because it is getting more and more popular. We hope to have two years' worth.

As for family and friends, for most the two doctors saying no go is enough, but daughters can argue and do send FDA pamphlets in emails. Oh woe. We just wish they would have ready and MSM information regarding what is going on. They have read the awful Guardian article and discussed it at great length. Oh woe, again.

I have a couple of questions:

- I see from earlier threads which had much more discussion than the last time I looked that a war with China is looking very possible. I just do not understand (big time dissonance here) why the US would be doing GOF (Gain of Function) or any other potentially dangerous work on bioweapons with China if they are our supposed enemy. Either it's all Kabuki, or the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Or, offer another explanation.

- The lists of pathologists and other researchers finding weird anomalies in autopsies and in full testing of Spike Proteins and anti bodies keeps growing: is the reality/truth about what may be going on got a tipping point? I sure hope so, and soon.

Thank you for all you do.

Dawn's Meta's picture

@Azazello background and the confidence I will be corrected where wrong.

Vaccines are injected or ingested then incorporated at a basic level (cellular?) to stimulate the body to fight by producing antibodies or other immune system fighting tools against a pathogen/infection/toxin. So the body is given a small and in traditional vaccines inactivated bits of a virus or bacteria so the body can see it, then say when a person breathes in the real infection, hey I've seen that before, let's fight with our antibodies which know this is a bad thing.

The use of a treatment doesn't stimulate the body to create immune reactions. Instead at least in this case, Ivermectin will fill up the places in cells which the incoming infection usually attaches to. The ACE 2 receptors are blocked by bits of (help here) which take up the space a virus would normally use to get a foothold in cells to begin replicating.

So vaccines use the body to encourage it to build immune fighting mechanisms, while a treatment slows down or prevents the virus from doing its normal thing and it ends up dying because it has no place to live.

Another thing Ivermectin does is slows the inflammation process kicked off by the infection if it gets a good hold on the body. I'm less sure of this mechanism, but it's very important in the timeline of an illness to slow down the Cytokines and Histamines produced by the immune system.

Anything called a treatment, usually deals with mitigating symptoms like fever, inflammation in this case reduction of places the virus can attach itself to the person.

Interesting that the nose wash and gargle does a similar thing in the nose and throat. The Provodine in salt water to rinse the nose and gargle in the throat puts a protective barrier on the mucus membranes and prevents the virus from finding a place to live and replicate. This also kills the virus or at least washes it out.

Very simple explanation for a complex set of actions. Hopefully someone will fill in the gaps or correct what I have gotten wrong.

Hope your neck of the woods is not too hot and you are comfortable. Thank you for all the information and links you publish for our information.

Sarasota FL - Hospital fails then (essentially) refuses to treat a patient's pneumonia. With his condition worsening he asks the patient sharing the room to be his patient advocate. That happens to be a 70 year old doctor who agrees to do so. They get the first patient's chart and the patient advocate Dr. quickly figures out that the guy has bacterial pneumonia, the hospital doctor has missed or failed to note that three separate times and have done no workups and provided no antibiotics.

Asked to notify the (1st) patient's doctor they wait six hours and get no response as the patient's condition worsens - will not even give them the doctor's name. They then decide to move the patient advocate doctor out of the room. He then tries to sign himself out of the hospital but is put in restraints for four hours before they finally let him go...

As I've suggested many times, I think this pandemic is being managed for profit not to minimize disease.

As Chris suggest at the end of his clip, we can all act as individuals to minimize our personal risks.

Hope you and yours are happy, well, and healthy! Thanks for the examples of the failure of our sick care system.

This extensively researched essay is clarifying and points to where this is going. Thank you, lookout

As a few brave experts have been saying:

Covid is here to stay. Endemic.

Herd Immunity, a rallying anti-vax phrase from the Right Wing, is a fantasy. A constantly changing adaptable virus does not allow for herd immunity. Nevertheless, more and more vaccines are being promoted.

The best Hope is Prevention and Mitigation, but for all the reasons we know, those sensible routes are unlikely to be followed.

My personal path, rocky and uncertain, has coalesced into what yours is Lookout. I have been vaxxed and there will be NO Booster, or any other government sponsored intervention. If I get Covid, I will stay home and do the best I can. Thank you for your clarity.

The virus will not end, But our civilization is foundering.

Last Night CNN planned a 5 hour(!) I Love New York Musical Extravaganza celebrating the "return to strength and greatness" of my beloved City. What it felt like was an epitaph. A Wake. An understanding that the reality is elsewhere.

The Opening was the NY Philharmonic playing a medley of NYC tunes. It felt like a dirge. Rhapsody in Blue, New York State of Mind, New York New York. Jazz. blues. not tourist promo. I felt emotional immediately.

Next up Andrea Bocceli. He came to the stage and sang "When you walk thru a storm, hold your head up high...." and the live audience tried to hold the tears in but I cried as I haven't in years.

Then Jennifer Hudson sang "Nessum Dorma."

Clearly, this was not the usual corporate presentation. It was a rememberance of a civilization in trouble.

2 hours in, the weather began to threaten, and at the 2 1/2 mark, the show was cancelled.

60,000 perticipants were ordered to leave the Park. Nobody got to see Bruce Springsteen or the other musicians waiting in the wings.

The same weekend the US Military and its vaunted "Planning" failed to safely secure the exit from Afghanistan.

I feel obligated to comment, though I haven't watched the vid, on the "seed oil" problem or issue. This statement, by itself, is post hoc ergo propter hoc:

...both heart disease and cancer were rare until 1900 when these highly processed oils became common

More importantly, simply in the interest of what I think of as historical full disclosure.
1) Heart disease and cancer were no doubt rarer, but probably not as rare as it seems because less understood, less diagnosed and less reported as cause of death.

2) Seed oils very likely a part and maybe a large part of the problem but

3) The world really changed circa 1900, not just seed oils. DDT was discovered in late 1800s, widespread use began in 1900s. Automobile ditto, and hence petroleum and petroleum contamination and the air pollution from refineries as well. Increasing industrialization = increased air and water pollution from coal. Lead based paint use boomed in the US in the 1900s, and post WW-2, leaded gasoline. Other sources of lead boomed as well, it was in virtually everybody's water for a while. Post 1918, we began flooding the environment and the average home with man-made chlorine based chemicals, including many pesticides and herbicides as well as bleach and such. Heavy metals of the cadmium/selenium/mercury family began to proliferate in the environment and the home. Rapid growth of household electricity, electric products and electronic products, back in the day, led to a significant increase in daily exposure to ozone. A related issue - Crisco invented in 1911, rapidly became a pantry staple. Frozen foods with their impact on nutrition boomed after 1924. People got more urban, more stressed, and generally less fit. Starting in the late 30s folks began drenching themselves in "suntan lotion", absorbing all kinds of weird bullshit through the skin. And that's just the easy ones and the quasi-early ones. Huge boom in smoking, for instance.

So, not saying seed oils weren't contributory, but practically bathing ourselves in petroleum and petroleum products, chlorine, lead and all like that certainly also contributed.

For most of my health journey I've wanted to blame processed carbs and obesity as the primary problem causing chronic disease. However as Chris points out...chronic diseases suddenly become common after about 1900 when people were not obese. His hypothesis is seed oil is the primary cause, but as you suggest many other factors are also involved.

If you've ever seen turnip seeds, they look a lot like rape seed which is used to make Canola oil. It obviously takes lots of chemicals and processing to extract those oils...and these are the oils touted as healthy? Bad idea IMO. YMMV.

to note that I didn't even bring up dietary changes involving carbonated sugar water, white bread & enriched flour, and generally lots of sugar, processed carbs and simple carbs as well as obesity. Yes all those things didn't happen immediately at 1/1/1900, but neither did cancer and heart disease. And we kept finding new cancers. Lung cancere, for example, is probably minimally attributable to seed oils, stomach or colon cancer, possibly much more so.

@Lookout been exposed to toxins in the air and water plus in our foods. We both have been in agricultural areas for extended times, with all the risk of toxins and water contamination that brings. During our lifetimes especially since 1950, we have had so many opportunities for exposures and contamination.

@Dawn's Meta

What is High Fructose Corn syrup?

First invented in Japan in 1966, HFCS was adopted into the manufacture of American foods from 1975 onwards. Its core ingredient, fructose, differs from other sweeteners (ie sucrose – table sugar) in that it was relatively unknown in human diets in great quantities until its mass production. Small amounts are found naturally in apples, honey, grapes and dates, but it is not naturally prevalent in a traditional diet of meat and vegetables.

https://www.foodintol.com/latest-news/14-food-production-news/104-high-f...

High Fructose Corn Syrup Dangers

There are very specific dangers regarding high fructose corn syrup. High fructose corn syrup leads to the production of excessive uric acid. Excessive uric acid leads to painful gout and hypertension.

Constant fructose exposure leads to metabolic syndrome, which is classified as obesity, Type II Diabetes, insulin resistance, cardiovascular disease and high blood pressure.

High fructose corn syrup is basically poisonous to the liver, and is the leading cause of non alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Non alcoholic fatty liver disease used to be very rare. Now, according to a study conducted in 2006 in San Diego, California, 1 in 10 children have NAFLD.

The fructose in fruit juice or sodas containing HFCS has a dangerous metabolic effect on the liver. The liver is the only organ that can metabolize fructose. So in a very complex way, fructose acts as a poison and is toxic to the liver.

High fructose corn syrup initiates a process called cross linking of proteins, which are AGE's or advanced glycation end products.

HFCS is incredibly sweet, dangerously addictive and widely available.

@lotlizard

I found this of interest...

...some academics or journalists argued that Usama bin Ladin's al-Qa'ida group and Afghanistan's Taliban government were really creations of American policy run amok. A pervasive myth exists that the United States was complicit for allegedly training Usama bin Ladin and the Taliban. For example, Jeffrey Sommers, a professor in Georgia, has repeatedly claimed that the Taliban had turned on "their previous benefactor." David Gibbs, a political science professor at the University of Arizona, made similar claims. Robert Fisk, widely-read Middle East correspondent for The Independent, wrote of "CIA camps in which the Americans once trained Mr. bin Ladin's fellow guerrillas."(1) Associated Press writer Mort Rosenblum declared that "Usama bin Ladin was the type of Soviet-hating freedom fighter that U.S. officials applauded when the world looked a little different."(2)

In fact, neither bin Ladin nor Taliban spiritual leader Mullah Umar were direct products of the CIA. The roots of the Afghan civil war and the country's subsequent transformation into a safe-haven for the world's most destructive terror network is a far more complex story, one that begins in the decades prior to the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan.

https://www.washingtoninstitute.org/policy-analysis/who-responsible-taliban

the piece concludes...

Following the Soviet Union's collapse, Washington could have more effectively pressured Pakistan to tone down the support for Islamic fundamentalism, especially after the rise of the Taliban. Instead, Washington ceded her responsibility and gave Pakistan a sphere of influence in Afghanistan unlimited by any other foreign pressure.

In my college geography course I was taught most Afghani's were tribal and recognized no government, and had been that way for centuries.

I went traveling through the Texas Hill County for a couple of days. Normally, when we get into the motel room for the evening, we watch cable news. Almost every ad on all those channels is either a new magic pill, or some health food supplement. Not cars, clothing, hotels, toys, furniture, food...not even chewing gum. I haven't watched TV much since the late 90s. I had cable for a few years, watched MSNBC and remember when Olberman was good. I can't listen to them blather any more. To hear anyone question the mental health issues of Biden, you have to go to Fox News.
Same with asking who is in charge, when he is demonstrably incapable?
Well, I don't think Trump was in charge either.
We have to live with a new flu anyway, so we must figure out how to live with this COVID virus.
I have a drs. appointment on the 30th, will start the process of determining if my current skin rash is autoimmune, or something else. By the time the labs come back, and a firm diagnosis is made, a traditional vaccination may be approved.
In the meantime, people deserve a treatment. Something besides a ventilator just at the point their life is in danger. Ivermectin has worked extremely well in India and Mexico. It likely does here on the small scale it has been utilized, but it is nearly impossible to be informed about it. TPTB said it was misinformation, so there!

We're headed to the coast end of Sept. to get a beach fix. We seem to only make it to the beach every couple of years.

There so many ways we have allergic reactions that it is difficult to find the culprit. I've got a swollen finger and the culprit was some sort of bee I grabbed while picking figs. Guess it could have been a wasp? At any rate wish you rapid healing of your rash. We keep Aloe plants all around and it can help soothe rashes and so on. I slice open a leaf, open it up, and lay it skin side up on the rash or wound. It can be taped on and allowed to be absorbed. After a couple of hours only the skin is left. Works well for me.

Well, have a good week and hope your court scene is going well.
