AOC and Jumaane Williams (the NYC Public Advocate, the person who becomes Mayor if de Blasio is out) both endorsed Brad Lander for next NYC Comptroller. These endorsements barely made a ripple.

Their candidate, Brad Lander, is still polling at 3% and has no chance of winning. He is a longtime reliable Progressive.

If or who AOC and Jumaane endorse for Mayor will similarly be irrelevant. Exactly as unimportant as the NY Times, Daily News and NY Post as well as the unions and various political groups.

This election will be determined by 1) how successful the rigging is---not as well as the PTB intend for it to, I'll explain in a sec, and 2) by how many people stick with their choices no matter how intense the United Smear campaigns become.

NYC is famous for rigged fixed elections and the Pandemic gave the fixers ample opportunity to work their favorite scam. Which is Absentee Ballot fraud.

This may not work because the Primary is in June, nice weather plus 10 days Early Voting, plus the Pandemic is over. The 20% of Registered Voters who participate in Primaries are likely to show up at the Polls. Also, NYC political consultants know one anothers tricks and will be armed to challenge obvious frauds. Lots of ballots from one address whose envelopes have the same handwriting on the outside that turn out to be from Nursing Homes. The NYC DNC has long made a practice of using nursing homes to build up a Chosen candidates numbers.

Large turnout in Early Voting can defeat many of the usual strategies.

Ranked Choice Voting and the Absentee ballots are where the Stealing will occur, most likely.

Some of the earlier strategies, like purging voters and shutting down polls are unlikely to be attempted because they have been defeated in the recent past. AOC fought the shutdown of a giant polling place in her district when she defeated Joe Crowley in her primary. Old tricks may not work. We need to be alert for new tricks.
