Welcome to the Wednesday edition of all things openly threaded. I like the concept of reducing pesticides while stimulating growth in plants while calling it a work of art.

I once had knew a landscaper who claimed to paint with plants...art in the landscape.

Spiderwebs are

...five times stronger than the best steel in the world when you look at strength-to -weight ratios. One interesting thing with spiderwebs is that birds don't fly into them. Why is that? It turns out that nature has a strategy for keeping them separate: The spider weaves tiny UV reflectors throughout its web. We can't see them, but a bird can.

Rain but swale tote survived. Yes. Young peregrine in front hunting at bird feeder. Bit of a lull so out I go. Pine siskins have a salmonella epidemic. But not contagious to others mostly. Conundrum. Remove food source and let siskins feed elsewhere or leave and feed predators. Hmmmmmm

listening to a criminal case where a woman wants to get off probation while facing a new charge, and wile a felony warrant is issued.
My motion is a request for the judge to speak to a child in chambers about all things which parent with whom he wishes to reside. Due to his age, it is mandatory. The judge, however, wants an agreement or something...What should have taken 5 minutes has now taken 1 hr 45 minutes and counting.
We used to have judges that were so good at taking control, moving those dockets like clockwork. Today, if you are a Republican, you get to be judge.
That, and a valid law license, gets you lots of power, income, and retirement.

I read the damn code to the judge. 5 minutes later, he gave me my requested ruling.
Strange times...
This judge was a family lawyer, but he has forgotten every code and statute and rule he adhered to for 40 years. (months after he took the oath of office)
I want to retire before I become like him.
You think Biden is a problem? Deal with it way down below and you find it is a horror here, too.
