Some Empathy

Were is the "I’m sorry that you lost your mom to COVID-19 and our hearts are with you at this time."? Or anyone words that made her feel better? Nothing worse than pouring out your heart about your loss and people make it about theirs instead.

But seriously what is this supposed to accomplish? Nothing about how help is on the way or belittling republicans for blocking the bill for $2k. Just Biden’s yada yada about himself.

with an ill conceived, poorly constructed piece of 100% American political bullshit. Many will instantly see through the lies and be enraged. Are the people behind our demented puppet really that stupid, or are they deliberately fomenting a controlled demolition of what’s left of this country in order to rebuild it more to their liking?

Sadly, I do not think stupid explains what is unfolding around us in the midst of this global pandemic. Avarice, greed and unspeakable evil seems a more likely explanation.

Thousands tested, three positive

The French government abruptly cut the flow of freight trucks from the UK on Sunday, asking for motorists to provide a negative coronavirus tests.

As a result, thousands of drivers have already spent several nights sleeping inside their vehicles close to the major cross-Channel port of Dover. Many of them are stranded on the nearby roads in the southeastern county of Kent or the old Manston airport which had been converted to a testing site.

The French ban comes after the labs in the UK detected an outbreak of a new and more transmittable coronavirus variant.

UK transport minister Grant Shapps confirmed the decision for borders to remain open: "We've agreed the UK/French border at Eurotunnel, Dover and Calais will remain open throughout Xmas in order to help hauliers & citizens return home as soon as possible," he tweeted, adding that of the 2,367 virus tests administered at the port as of Thursday afternoon, just three turned out positive.

@mimi The DNC has stated in open court that they are a private corporation and can chose their candidates in whatever method they choose. And the court apparently agreed. So why are public dollars being used to hold primary elections on the behalf of a private corporation?
