A recommendation, if you have netflix. Look for David Cheng's segment in Ugly Delicious about Indian food. There are some interesting facts about the route to England, culinarily. I think his series is brilliant.
today would make the perfect day for a barbecue. It’s bright and sunny and warm, but it will be very cold tonight. Either now or later a fire of some type will be necessary.

Is it my imagination or did the resolution here improve several weeks back?
Rio Grande Leopard Frog - you get a bunch of these roaring after a rain and it sounds like a big cat roar going. They make all kinds of funny noises too. They are voracious predators of course.
Wild Petunia - white form, last week posted the purple one
Mealy Sage
Hooded Oriole - juvenile or female on hummingbird feeder
you probably aren't getting enough bunting?
male Painted Bunting

We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.
Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.

Your leopard frog looks even more voracious. And since when is it possible to have too much bunting. I call the bird 'the bird of primary colours'.
Did your coral shipment leave the docks? Hours after you mentioned it Auckland went back into lockdown. At first I thought that maybe it would be delayed, but on second thought, I thought all shipments might be fast tracked ... in order to get the staff of those ships out of range.
Hi pixelers,
Nice pix as always Janis and BR!
Hope all are well and livin' la vida quarantina!

I love the one you chose. It's a beautiful photo in the context of the landscape. There's even a heart-shaped something behind it in the mid-ground. I also really liked the small seaweed wreath resting on the heart. Sweet!

...... and of course, it begins to torrentially rain.
Here's a recent urban landscape shot.

I really enjoy the geometric beauty
of the urban landscape. It's so harmonious.
Nice lines Bollox,
and moody.
Hey Janis
Given the state of everything, I am feeling rather moody.
Your first...... the world's largest lettuce? BBQ smoke in the second?

You must be hungry
I hope the state of the mood improves with a good curry ; ).
What with the world at the moment
A Chicken Phall would really allow me to ignore current events.

There's never enough bunting!
Thanx!

You do know Ezra Pound's parody by that title?
A lot of it is not exactly suitable for polite company, but very expressive.

There is no justice. There can be no peace.
