False prophet- load of crap

Okay, I am a news junkie and start my day by looking at the various sites for political news, and guess what load of garbage I found.

Please take a look and do your best to discredit and counter act this moron.

http://thehill.com/opinion/markos-moulitsas/274618-markos-moulitsas-sand...

This narrative is garbage and so incorrect. I guess this is what happens when someone is on the Clinton payroll and working for the establishment.

Update:

Thank you, not sure if it is the work of this community but within the last hour or so, the comments are pouring in on this article to point of the truth regarding Markos and providing great data point of this false propaganda. That is all I want is for the truth to shine thru the lies and bs.

By the way, sorry if I am a little passionate about this matter, but we need to have our voices heard. The establishment needs to realize that they cannot continue to pee all over us and tell us to enjoy the rain.

"Obama promised transparency, but Assange is the one who brought it."

Still going strong: in case you haven't signed it yet
https://www.change.org/p/i-support-bernie-sanders-but-i-will-not-support...?

Wish it was worded we wouldn't vote for, but still a good place to start.

CentY has a great response to the "tone it down" comments, and how really dumb it was for the Clinton Campaign to expect any of the people supporting Bernie Sanders to "switch" to vote for her if she were ( dog forbid!) the nominee.

Still don't think DWS/DNC/DLC/Clintons realize this is not a "business as usual" election. We knew she'd support Obama in 2008, she had no choice. She knew she'd run again for POTUS and had to keep herself politically viable. Not so her bff, Lynn de Rothschild, she of the Lincoln Bedroom Sleepovers, who started Democrats for McCain. It's not 2008. We have nothing to gain by helping the Clintons keep the Democratic party in their clutches!
Can't argue SCOTUS anymore, when Obama goes with Merrick Garland. Seriously, that argument is off the table.

Still see a twofer - if it's Trump. Destroys the Republican party, and gets the Democratic Party out of the clutches of the Clintons. Short term consequence, long term gain. Coalition created around Bernie Sanders coalesces, gets stronger, larger, better funded, doesn't sell out.

I do not care about his fucking site, but when he starts spreading lies elsewhere that is the problem. That is why I posted so we can call him out on it. Post all his previous negative Hillary statements in the comments section to embarrass and discredit him.

Did you have this same “strategy” in 2008 while people were still voting in the primary between Obama and Hillary?

Yes. Go look it up. It’s easy!

Challenge accepted. Hardly have time to do an exhaustive check of everything you wrote in 2008, so let’s just scroll through your history until I start seeing stuff on the 2008 primary… okay, let’s jump back in time to a year ago and see what you were writing. Just so that I’m not biasing it, I’ll include every post that either has to do with the presidential primary or the general (but not other elections or non-election issues, no congressional fundraising or the like), so people can see the primary / general ratio.

www.dailykos.com/… Horse race superdelegate coverage

www.dailykos.com/… Clinton trying to “ratify the sham elections” in MI and FL, their “lone lifeline” in a campaign that they have “so thoroughly lost on the merits”. Clinton seeking to disenfranchise real voters in Texas. Clinton campaign “clings to the states in an effort to spread enough uncertainty to keep her failed campaign alive.” Detailed district-level coverage. Clinton campaign employing “subterfuge” to “do and say anything in its mad pursuit of power.”

www.dailykos.com/… Talking about Clinton campaign’s finance problems.

www.dailykos.com/… Clinton expected to win PA. Shifting goalposts. Horserace coverage.

www.dailykos.com/… More primary horserace coverage. Clinton still pushing MI and FL. “Rules don’t apply” to Clinton campaign. Clinton pushing FUD to hide her bad performance.

www.dailykos.com/… Wow, you actually mentioned McCain once! But only in a Midday Open Thread in passing, which then goes onto point number 2, the Clinton/Obama race. In fact, most of the points in the open thread are about the Clinton/Obama race, including the latest polling.

www.dailykos.com/... You “love how Clinton's surrogates continue to lie about the unsanctioned contests in Michigan and Florida.” The “math is clear”, yet you keep covering the primary race in virtually every post.

www.dailykos.com/… Obama picks up more delegates in MI.

www.dailykos.com/… Clinton can’t pay her bills.

www.dailykos.com/...”Clinton's campaign has one premise -- victory at all costs. If that requires sundering the Democratic Party, so be it. She doesn't care”, “Groups and communities in this country only matters if they supports her,” “Clinton personifies the worst of the "with us, or against us"-type thinking that has gotten us in trouble with the rest of the world,” etc. Concludes by calling her campaign pathetic.

I could keep going, but you get the picture. Contrary to your assertion, 2008 Markos provided, with occasional asides for congressional fundraising and the like, almost exclusive primary coverage during this timeperiod, with little to no general election coverage. Even while repeatedly talking about how her campaign was doomed, he kept covering it. 2008 Markos repeatedly stated that he was a fan of contested primaries, that they make the party stronger. And 2008 Markos had no shortage of vitriol for Hillary Clinton and the kind of campaigns she ran.

Seriously, if 2008 Markos were here today, he’d be banned.

Note that calling for Bernie to drop out effectively means disenfranchising everyone who hasn't had a chance to vote in a primary yet. No Markos, we're not letting SC and MS pick our nominee while telling NY and CA to STFU.

So much for "Crashing the Gates". He needs to write a new book entitled "Locking the Gates, How Access to Power Corrupts".

He is driving away a substantial portion of his customer base, and he had to know that would happen. I doubt he is too rich to care, and there is plenty of time to campaign for the GE later. Did he get a "grant" from the Clinton Foundation to "study" political blogging on the internet? A "promise" of some kind perhaps?

“I'll show you politics in America. Here it is, right here. 'I think the puppet on the right shares my beliefs.' 'I think the puppet on the left is more to my liking.' 'Hey, wait a minute, there's one guy holding out both puppets!'”- Bill Hicks

He cherry picks and takes out of context pieces of information to push a narrative. I don't see how he can state his path to pledged delegate victory is growing 'ever-narrower' when he outperformed on Saturday significantly. Arizona took a bit of a chunk out of that, but after all was said and done, he cut her lead in pledged delegates by about 20%. The first half of the primary was front-loaded with a lot of Clinton-favorable territory and 43% of the pledged delegates still remain.

He ignores the fact that Bernie himself stated that Super Delegates are free to vote as they see fit, he only suggested that in states where he had won those Super Delegates may wish to reconsider their position. Markos whines about Sanders supporters specifically, as if Sanders supporters have any say on how Bernie runs his campaign. Gotta love it when an author blames the candidate for the views of anonymous online posters.

I didn't see where Devine stated all Super Delegates should switch over, but then the author never cites the source of his information, merely pecks out a few loose quotes here and there. I think the Sanders campaign overall point is that in states where Bernie has won, they would make the case that these Super Delegates should switch to represent the will of the people. The Sanders campaign got into the race late, and was up against a major disadvantage in terms of having enough time to get the message out in conjunction with a dismissive media and Clinton's establishment support.

There is a valid case to be made from this regardless, it doesn't mean that the Sanders campaign is attempting to suppress the will of the people.

Bernie won in the Utah caucuses 80%-20%. One of Utah's super-delegates (our Dem party chair!) committed in advance to supporting the caucus winner. I sent him a thank-you e-mail. Two others are for Hillary (they refuse to say why) and another remains uncommitted at last report. Utahns are lobbying them to represent us. This is a process known as "democracy."

OK, another Utah super-delegate is supporting Bernie. The one who said he was uncommitted. He got a barrage of e-mails and phone calls. Now the goal is to flip the two who declared for Hillary before the Utah caucuses.

How can he state something like this while calling on Senator Sanders to essentially drop out of the race? Shouldn't the rest of the country have a say in the process before this happens?

up

The Democratic Party had no intention of supporting Bernie. From the debate schedule, to the website integrity issue, trotting out all of the DNC operatives of color to support Clinton, blaming Bernie for not supporting down ballot initiatives, it's really been despicable.

I have never thought Bernie would win because too many self important assholes in the party would see to it that he does not. HRC is an establishment candidate who has never had a lead she couldn't squander. So when she gets to be underwater in October in the polling, don't come to me.
