And let us not forget 13.0.7.8.18 by the Mayan Long Count
In 1880, Seven people were killed in a gunfight near Mussel Slough, in California's central valley. This originated in a land dispute between some settlers and the Southern Pacific Railroad. The shoot out occurred about 6 miles from the current location of Hanford, which is about 20 miles West of Visalia, aka East Nowhere, and 10 miles East of the Leemore Naval Air Station**..Of course, Hanford wasn't incorporated until 11 years after the shoot out, and Leemore NAS was built in 1961 or so. So why should anybody care about this gunfight at the nowhere corral? It was the inspiration for Frank Norris' novel, The Octopus: A Story of California, a couple of other novels and a lot of muckracking journalism
** The Navy likes to now and then dump these Naval Air Bases inland, well away from any navigable bodies of water. If anybody besides Az wants a Giggle, they can fire up their favorite search engine and look for the China Lake Naval Air Station.

Good morning magi, really don't know what to say. That's
just outre. Do consumers know that sick people are working the line? The justification seems shallow, they may not have proven that it can be transmitted by ingesting food, but, insofar as they have proven that it can survive for a goodly amount of time on packaging, it stands to reason that they have pretty much proven that you can get it by touching the packaging and then wiping your nose, etc. What ever happened to the EU's reliance upon the precautionary principal?

Good morning
Your top line refers to April 27, a typo perhaps, or Gregorian oddity?
We're gradually warming, and I hope to plant out some things Wed. I've gotten my needed tractor parts but can't seem to connect with my repairman. I hope we manage to get together soon or my place will become a jungle.
Hope you are all doing well. Thanks for the OT and music.

Good morning Lookout. Tempus fugited but template
didn't. Thanks for the catch, I fixed it. We've planted a little and I hope to maybe do a bit more this week. Good luck with your tractor.

Let's get radical
Now is the time to nationalize energy production, the health care system and the banks. This runaway greedy capitalism is destroying earth. Sharing = healing. Stealing = death.
Rough morning.

Mornin' e.l. ...
Leemore is also the home of this monstrosity.

Have a good one.
We wanted decent healthcare, a living wage and free college.
The Democrats gave us Biden and war instead.
Heh. Good morning Az. Hey, ya gotta love it. I always
think of some poor kid in Arkansas or Okiehoma who decides he wants to be a swab so he go sail the oceans and hang out on beaches and in ports of call and then winds up in Leemore or China Lake. What better to provide a semblance of the shore than some pseudo-surf. All it needs is some white sand, some dudes surf fishing, and tourists. And perfect wave after perfect wave? Bliss. Of course the racket from than damn jet ski must be a downer, but you can't have everything.

Good morning QMS. That top quotation or explication or
whatever it is needs to be on billboards everywhere, bus stops, light rail stations and everywhere else there is signage, as well as posters, many posters and maybe even TV ads. The first step toward progress is to overcome and destroy the existing negative and false narratives.
Sorry about the rough morning, but I guess that means that things can get better, so things must be looking up, right?

Congratulations C99%'rs
I'm giving this site an A+ grade for getting the Russiagate psyop correct. It was all lies and deception, smoke and mirrors.

Thanks Az. I'm glad that Aaron brought up the fact that
crowdstrike had to retract its assertion that Russia hacked Ukraine, which was the alleged source of fingerprints that they allege to have identified in the DNC hack.

Good Morning EL
Weather is glorious here. Yesterday it was about 80 degrees with a cool breeze. Took a little social distancing walk with friend up and down the hills here in my neighborhood. Being that it was such a lovely morning we encountered other walkers but we all kept our distance and most were wearing masks. Then the both of us came upon a house where the owners were serving coffee out front and congregating with their neighbors. Not a mask in sight. They waved at us, smiled, and offered us a cup of coffee, to which I replied, "No, thanks. I had coronavirus with my coffee earlier this morning". A comment that was clearly not appreciated judging by the looks on their faces but I figured it was better than WTF is wrong with you people?

Good morning Anja. Nice here, sunny but not too warm.
Ran is allegedly predicted for later, but I see no signs of it yet. Good that you had a nice walk.

That's weird
C99P came in 4th
I'm not sure if a DuckDuck search for C99%
is apropos of this site. The majority of the hits are for marijuana seeds. Is there something I don't know about? It this place just a front for pot heads?
ohhh shucks
you fingered us out...

Good morning gj. Can't gues why without knowing how
their algorithm works, I suspect. If you enter "caucus99percent" it still comes up 4th, but the top 3 are completely different, and more of those that follow are the site itself. Lastly, entering "caucus99percent.com" brings it up as #2, again with a different #1.

Same for me. It is wierd.
It has gone back to normal now, though.
EDIT I type in caucus99
Good morning CB.
Very good video, summarizing the evidence and data of the essential Russiagate bogosity. For me is was just the fact there was never any evidence and that there were so many conflicts of interest and so much hung on the "testimony" of known liars and sleazeballs combines with the fact that it had all of the earmarks of a classic propaganda operation. I doubt, by the way, that the true believers will ever be convinced, by anything whatsoever, that it was a bullshit hoax.

Well #Obamagate is trending
It's amazing how often people run around shrieking
"treason" without the faintist idea of what it means and what the applicable legal standards are. Even it you explain it to them, slowly without any big words, they still find some remarkably obtuse justification for asserting that it must apply.
