Biden's "PROTECTING OUR FUTURE AFTER CORONAVIRUS"

I usually try to resist writing essays of the I'm so shocked that people think this way. Its pointless since much of America freely admits to having parted ways with all conventional morality and logic. But I just happened upon a screed Biden published to supposedly turn out the youth vote that breaks even with unconventional morality and logic.

Here's the money quote up front for ease of reading:

This virus is already threatening economic impacts that could rival the Great Depression, and we are going to rely on the energy, the innovative spirit, and boundless capacity of our young people to help rebuild our economy when it’s over. We’re going to have to figure out how to get more help to folks who were left out of this bill. For example, I support forgiving at least $10,000 in student loan debt per person right now to provide meaningful relief.

So yeah I can't help it I'm shocked. I mean leaving aside the practically unlimited powers the bill gives the Fed to give money to oligarchs and their corporations; even forgetting that its still a $2 trillion dollar bill. And college costs

The average total price for a 4-year degree is approximately $122,000.

$50,880 for a public 2-year institution (in-state rate)
$87,800 for a public 4-year institution (in-state rate)
$153,320 for a public 4-year institution (out of state)
$199.500 for a private nonprofit 4-year institution
However, these averages assume the student finishes within 4 years. Only 39% of students actually do so. In fact, nearly 60% of undergraduate students take 6 years to complete a 4-year degree.

So Joe is not even making a pretense of offering the carrot to youth voters stuck in their bedrooms paying an arm and a leg for "remote" learning. He's definitely threatening the stick:

We deserve to have leadership in the White House who will help spur our progress, empower the next generation of leaders to drive us forward, and seize our future of possibilities. Not someone fighting to drag us backward.

I can't make sense of that coming from a supposed Obama style politician. You'd think he would hope and change it up and then just forget the promises when in office. You have to wonder how much he or his staff even care at this point. Maybe they just wanted to beat Sanders.

From the article supposedly written by Joe Biden:

We deserve to have leadership in the White House who will help spur our progress, empower the next generation of leaders to drive us forward, and seize our future of possibilities. Not someone fighting to drag us backward.

That's exactly the opposite of the message the Dems have been aiming at their base, which is: "Let's go back to normalcy!" They've been appealing to the mainstream populace who, being human, simply do not like or want change.

As Biden himself said to his wealthy donors recently, "Nothing would fundamentally change" if he became POTUS.

The DNC is running into a problem, though. The young "folks" want change. Along with many of us older folks, the young folks see the necessity for rapid, major change.

As usual, the Dem party's goal is to crush progressives. Since younger generations historically look toward the future instead of trying to hold on to an illusory past, crushing progressive movements = crushing the younger generations.

That's what the Dem party did in 1968 to the then-younger generations (Boomers and Silents). Brutalize, gaslight, manipulate, and shut them up. It worked well for them back then, and they're trying to do it again now to the Millennials and Gen Z.

@Centaurea "seizing our future possibilities" even mean?
Or, "drive us forward" to where? Hell?
"Empower the next generation" to work for slave labor wages to pay off their student debts while they live in an RV parked on the street?
I agree that Joe didn't write this. It had no "uh, uh, uh", was deplete of "You, you, you" or "Man, "Man...you're fat!"

What does it all mean? I can translate all that for you:

"seizing our future possibilities" = "hope and change"
"drive us forward" = "hope and change"
"meaningful relief" = "hope and change"
"empower the next generation" = "hope and change"

There ya go. Hope this helps.

The current working assumption appears to be that our Shroedinger's Cat system is still alive. But what if we all suspect it's not, and the real problem is we just can't bring ourselves to open the box?

"at least" 10,000.00 for your student loan debt is just a run-out-the-clock hail-Mary pass.

While everyone is talking about the paltry amount...back and forth...(yes it is, no it isn't) November is creeping up on us and so is Creepy Joe.
