He makes me yell at the screen. Once he was on and I did a count of how many times he said "practical progressive" (or something similar). He's exactly the professional managerial class chad who goes nuts for Warren.

are these apologists for the status quo. They are such a spectacle they belong in a circus.
Oh...they are in a circus....
I never realized how many arrogant asses there were in that corporate class. That we should believe anything they say is a joke.
This would be absurdly funny if it wasn't so potentially damaging:
Warren surrogate @AdamGreen explains that Warren’s path to victory doesn’t involve winning any states.
What's In Play?
Today is the day
for the country to see
our system in play
for the country to be
more progressive than in the day
when the neolibs danced with glee
at the individualism they say
is the way to be free
when it is not that way
and only divides me
between what they say
cuz their actions are key
to the foundations they lay
which bring pain when we plea
but we see we cannot sway
so we choose to bend the knee
to one with the cliché
Not Me, Us! you will see
the neolibs we will slay.
Have a beautiful Saturday and don't worry, folks!

Kudos to you for all the hard work you've done on Bernie's behalf! Hope it pays off in spades next Tuesday. Sounds to me, like he'll take CA by a landslide.
Take care.

'fuzzy art'. I think I will have to borrow it if you don't mind. I do like an awful lot of fuzzy art though, it often conveys a feeling better than the perfectly painted or drawn image.

will be flipped to Biden and other candidates receiving 15% of the vote and over on a proportional basis towards pledged delegates. Each state has a different way of doing this but that's the general rule of thumb.
visit. YAP, yet another primary. These things start to pall and I sometimes wonder if that isn't the point. If you place some rats in a cage and deliver electrical shocks to them at random, they soon become completely apathetic. That seems to be one of the great themes of the modern era, that plus the shift to an evidence free media and non-evidence based reality, belief and truth systems and having the so-called "intelligence" and "security/police" agencies actively propagandizing the populace and openly meddling in elections. I say openly because they've been at it since at least the fifties.
Have a good one and be healthy.

Day to day these last two weeks, the painting you included captures my feelings perfectly. Spent the morning yesterday in the garden with my cat, Zoe, following me around. Here she is making herself comfortable in a little part of the garden I created for my sweet Pierre. A poignant gesture on Zoe's part to be sure, but not as sentimental as the little dish of water that I left for Pierre. I hope Pierre knows, wherever she is, how much she was loved.
Enjoy your day Smiley. I'll be thinking about you and your son today.

corner in your garden...it looks like a lemon verbena on the right...which is an herb I love. Zoe seems quite content there in the little shrine for Pierre. It makes you wonder what those cats think.

What they are thinking. Both cats are behaving differently since Pierre. I’m sure they’re confused.
P.S. you have a good eye. That is lemon verbena!

Best to you over there across the pond.

I have decided to do some prepper shopping, then spend the afternoon on the patio at my grill, cooking up enough food to split with my brother.
The weather here is just perfect. Sunny, but not hot, just right for being outdoors.
For the first time in over a decade, my bags are not packed. They may not be for the year.
This coronavirus pandemic is throwing off my way of life already. I can't even imagine how I will spend the free time. Reading? Learning a new skill? Taking lots of naps?
What will I do with the two months meant to see the world and avoid work? Work? More likely than not, I will work.
I hope each and every one of you can avoid becoming ill.
And I hope Bernie can give TPTB a reason to capitulate.
I can dream, right?

Yesterday, received the first shipment of a Hasbro board game--Trivial Pursuit. Several couples in our retirement community have decided to start finding more ways to amuse ourselves, and, avoid public venues. (Luckily, we're pretty much self-contained, so, it's really not that inconvenient.) Looking forward to playing TP this evening, while we keep an eye on the election results. Hopefully, Alpha, or someone, will put up an Election Night Thread.
Be well, and have a nice weekend.
